I love that I can be in and out for a full eye exam in half an hour, especially since they have the machine that replaces the need to dilate the pupils. I just moved to Kennett Square, and I visited Dr. Ganly for the first time yesterday. Overall it was a positive experience. Clean office, friendly staff, and I found Dr. Ganly to be more knowledgeable than many eye doctors I've dealt with in the past. He adjusted my prescription and recommended more comfortable contacts, as dry eyes had been a pain point. He gave me 3 different samples to try, to find the most comfortable lens for me. I would definitely recommend Dr. Ganly if you're looking for a new eye Dr. in the Kennett/West Chester/Unionville/Chadds Ford area!

Hello. So it’s been a week since I saw Dr Ganley and his assistant dr. (Who’s name escapes me right now unfortunately). I went in with a piece of metal in my eye a day later than I should and Dr Ganley not only took me right in he and his staff went above and beyond anything I could have imagined or expected. Where to start.... from a spotless entry area, ushered right to a hand washing station (after coving the usual Covid-19 questions) right to a series of basic eye tests to make sure everything was in working order. Once Dr Ganley walked in he sat down and within 10 seconds he not only spotted the debris he took a high definition pic, showed me and told me to get my phone out to take a pic to show online (wich made me giggle). His professionalism and candor had me not only as ease but also confident it wasn’t as bad as I originally thought it was (it hurt bad) (and it was as bad as I thought). He had me numbed up and the debris out in less than a minute (painless). Hooked me up with a script for an antibiotic drops and a nighttime eye drop stuff (wich I quickly nicknamed “sludge”) Before I left he handed me his card with his personal cell on the back and a follow up exam with his assistant Dr in two days.... (that night and the following day sucked)(he told me it was gonna) He texted me the next day to check on me (wich I totally missed and didn’t get back to him until after the follow up exam) Follow up exam..... Once again. Excellent protocol upon arriving. No offense to Dr Ganley but I really liked his assistant Dr., not only was she funny she was professional and determined to get all the left over material in my eye that had come to the surface since the large piece was removed. She got every last bit out and said besides some light staining everything was cool. Sent on down the boulevard with another follow up in two days just to make sure. Fast forward two days repeat the sanitation protocol and a quick eye exam and I was sent home with clear pain free vision. All in all 10 out of 10. I can’t recommend Dr Ganley and his staff enough. Turns out he's out to dinner with friends and he's taking the time to take care of me! Wow. Just wow. I've been going to Ganly Vision care for years and have always enjoyed the expert eye care there. I never call after hours unless there's a real nasty eye issue. So, Dr. Ken calls and arranged a time for me to be taken care of the next morning. I'm a college student currently but my hometown is Kennett Square so I get my checkups whenever I'm home to visit. I love Ganly Vision care because they're really about the customer satisfaction and quality care. I went to Dr. Ganly when I got my first pair of glasses and then again when I moved to contacts because the process was so smooth and comfortable. They also helped me out a lot when I was in a pinch: I had forgotten my contact case at school and I was supposed to travel to Australia for winter break, but I wouldn't be able to see anything without them. So, I called them up and they were able to get me some sample contacts on a day's notice, outside of normal business hours, which essentially saved my trip. Really, the staff are awesome and I appreciate the great service and attitude that they have. I highly recommend them!

Longtime Glasses wearer that just had laser correction surgery.... The service I received at Ganly Vision was first class all the way. I had eye surgery and Dr. Ganly was going to handling my follow up visits. First their scheduling system is AWESOME, I schedule then they send you a reminder to your cell SWEET! This saved me about 2 hrs a day for 3 days that = 6hrs. of me time back. YEAH Then I'm home preparing dinner a couple days later and I here my cell alert that I have a text...Hey Rob just wanted to see how your eyes are doing. The Dr. took that 1 extra minute to check on me, hell my BEST friends don't do that. I'm a long time glasses wearer and I attempted contacts, when I was trying contacts. They where extreme patient with me even when I wasn't so patent anymore. My family and I highly recommend giving Ganly Vision the next time you have a vision issue. *****Folks i understand we usually just go to the same Doctor we've used for years. Ganly Vision is one of the things that you'll try and then wish you found them earlier. Go to Ganly it's worth it.****

Best Doctor Visit I've even been to.. My 8 yr old son needed an exam for the first time after his pediatric yearly. It was clear that a correction was needed and he knew that as well. Being a young boy, he was anxious at the very least and the idea of needing glasses scared him. I called and made an appointment for him and right from the second we walked in the door, we were treated warmly and professionally. The appointment was right on time. Dr Ganly could sense my sons fears and was able to completely allay them. Doc took the time to explain to him everything that was being done and was even able to make the visit fun for him. When it was confirmed that he needed glasses, Dr Ganly, knowing my son wanted no part of it, went the extra mile and had him put on some "test glasses" with the proper lenses and took him for walk outside. My son couldn't believe how much better he was able to see. Dr Ganly then took even more time to show him the wide array of frames and customizations that could be done. Never once did I feel any pressure to make a purchase either. From the minute we left, my son went from being dead set against glasses to waiting impatiently for them to arrive. This was by far, the best experience I have ever had at ANY doctors visit. Even though my insurance isn't accepted(not directly - need reimbursement) there is no other eye doctor I, or the rest of my family will be visiting. I would definitely recommend Ganly Vision to any one I know...Dr. Ken is very thorough and knowledge while performing a comprehensive eye exam...He explains everything he is doing and what is going on with your vision....I wear both glasses and contacts...Dr. Ganly let's you try several types of lenses to see which brand/type you are most comfortable in and get the best results visually.

My husband and I have been going to Ganly Vision Care for the last year, and can highly recommend both doctors. They provided us with very thorough and comprehensive examinations, and were great at diagnosing/ explaining our vision issues, as well as providing recommendations to address. I recently took my 90 yr old mother, who was complaining of loss of vision in one eye, to Dr. Ganly after another optometrist was unable to find the cause. He determined she had a secondary cataract, which can easily be corrected by laser surgery. We all appreciate their expertise!
