My parents live in the senior homes in Bridgeland and have been coming to Browz for the past few years. I have been really impressed with the doctors and staff there as they were very friendly and accommodating. My father's mobility has been declining and the staff came to their home to deliver glasses, and another time came to adjust his glasses. That's really going the extra step. Thank you for the great service!

We could not have been happier with our Vision Therapy with Caroline. Our boy is a bit difficult to work with at times, but I am beyond happy how Caroline made every effort possible to adapt the Vision Therapy exercises to his age and ability, which in turn made it easier for us to continue the exercises at home without them being a chore (in fact, our boy is almost disappointed that he won't be coming back for more visits). Huge shout out to the office staff too, who, as soon as they saw him, would change the Netflix show in the waiting room to his favourite. Awesome awesome experience, all around!

Arriving at the Bridgeland location I was instantly showered with a friendly greeting with the frontline staff offering to assist me with anything. Albert was an exceptional help to me because he helped me select the appropriate frames that suited my face size, nose, and style. He was very patient with my indecisiveness. Furthermore, when I inquired about purchasing contacts, Albert convinced me to change my daily contact usage to monthly's since that made the most sense once he heard how I only wore them for sport and exercise purposes. Albert not only convinced me with his kindness, but by his rationale to help me save money on my purchases in the long term. Dr. Fu also set me up with new glasses according to my preferred frames and provided elaborate instructions on how I need to keep my monthly contacts clean and ready for use. I always felt like I was in good hands throughout my experience at Bridgeland Browz Eyeware. I believe that these individuals deserve a praise for their kindness and willingness to help their customers and patrons. I will definitely be a returning customer. Thank you!

Caroline was excellent support during my daughter's Vision Therapy helping her to complete the therapy sessions in half of the originally prescribed time. Being able to do therapy via Skype was a HUGE help to my family as we lived two hours from the office. Skype sessions meant that we only had to travel for assessment purposes a couple of times instead of weekly like other outfits wanted us to do. All of the staff are very welcoming and supportive even when I bring all 5 of my children in to the office. Dr. Luk answered all of our questions during the initial consultation and she was very professional in reviewing a Vision Therapy assessment from another optometrist with us. We felt that Dr. Luk and her staff were professionals that we could have confidence in and every optometrist on her staff that we have met with has been fabulous. The best accolade we could give Dr. Luk and all of her team is our repeat business which we now do for all of our children and ourselves. We trust them to help us effectively. I would recommend them to anyone.

Very helpful doctor. Was patient with all of my questions. The appointment was not on time so I waited for 20-30 minutes. This is the only drawback. I will return!

The optometric assistant Danielle was extremely helpful, and went out of her way to assist me. Came here as Browz is part of the Studentcare Network and glad I did. Staff were friendly and cogent, eye exam appointment was quick and efficient, and Dr. Anthony Fu was great. Not only was the experience better than other places I've been, but the eye exam was much more reasonably priced.

Highly recommend this clinic. They carry a beautiful selection of frames which are neatly organized. In addition, I was thoroughly impressed when the receptionist remembered my name despite having only been there once before. She was both friendly and clearly knew her stuff as everything was performed in a quick and concise manner. The anti fatigue lenses that were recommended by the doctor helped with my computer vision syndrome symptoms greatly. I will be bringing my parents here upon my next visit.

Great Doctor!!! Got these new floaters, they were able to squeeze me in between patients. They found a tear in the back of my eye, referred me to hospital, specialist was impressed they found such a small tear. And I had it fixed the same day! Staff was super accommodating and pleasant. If you get floaters make sure to get it checked and if you're close by, get it checked here as the specialist said this is often missed by other eye doctors. Thank you thank you!!

Before I heard of Dr. Luk, I did not know that vision therapy was offered. After my assessment and meeting my vision therapist, I was given long awaited hope for my vision issues. Caroline, my vision therapist was the sweetest, kindest, patient person and my vision therapy program was challenging but also structured where I could see measurable improvement. When I moved to Toronto, I was able to continue my therapy over Skype which was a game changer and I was able to continue my progress with Caroline. I have seen tremendous improvement since I started vision therapy and I couldn't be more grateful. Thank you Dr. Luk, Caroline and all the other wonderful people at Browz Eyeware.

I have lived in Renfrew for a long time and went to the optometrist downtown. But now with young children we wanted to find a place we could drive too. We had a great experience at this optical. The eye doctor I had was excellent. The children saw a pediatric optometrist there, Dr. Luk and she was wonderful, diagnosed my son with eye tracking problem, and now he's in vision therapy. The optician lady was excellent, a bit chatty but very helpful with choosing the glasses. And a tip, if you come here park on the big street its free for 2 hours, and tons of parking. I parked on the side streets and didn't know this so I was paying (that place needs better signage so others know of the free parking)

Was referred to Dr. Luk for my daughter's eye therapy. Had the best experience as Dr. Luk was very knowledgeable and took her time. Overall, it was a great experience and they also have a wide selection of frames. Very friendly staffs as well.

I graduated from my vision therapy program (after 24 sessions)????‍♀️. I have learned so much from Caroline, my vision therapist. I am extremely grateful for her patience, encouragement, compassion and expertise. She was so attentive on how my body, mind and spirit would react to the exercises that she would give me to do. She would question Me and my responses to get a better understanding and course correct with a modified version of exercises to meet me where I was at. She witnessed my tears, my frustrations and me being completely exhausted after a 30 minute session (but that is to be expected when you have a brain injury and you take transit to get there). She was very supportive by reminding me to breathe, be kind and patient with myself. She was always reassuring me that I was improving and that it takes time. I still have eye exercises to do for maintenance and I have another eye assessment scheduled for February. I am so grateful for vision therapy because it really helped me understand and realize that our eyes give so much information to our brains (to many areas of the brain) about our environment, without us knowing how it affects us physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Now, it makes so much sense why it's so difficult for me to go grocery shopping and being around crowds.

I am new to the area and prior to this got my exam downtown. Its very nice to have an optometrist close to where I live as I had a red eye from a contact lens infection and needed to go a few times. The doctor was great and not in a rush like they are in downtown, answered all my questions and even emails promptly when I was worried. Went back a few months later for an eye exam, the staff Delaina is super friendly and helpful. Got a great pair of glasses at a very reasonable price. They also refitted me with a much more comfortable contact lens. Brought my wife and kids to the same place and we were much happier with them then the downtown rush. Would recommend to others. Was worried about the prior google review but since they have a new staff and you'll love her, great personality.

I've been ripped off by mechanics, vets, even restaurants and now I can add an optometrist to the list! I booked an appointment online last Monday to update my eyeglass prescription and received a phone call at home that night at 8:45pm to confirm said appointment. The guy told me I had a choice of 3 or 6pm the next day so chose the 3pm. I arrived the next day at my appointment time only to be greeted by a receptionist stuffing her face with food. I told her I was there for my 3pm appointment and she looked at me like I was crazy and told me that not only did I not have an appointment but that they don't take appointments at 3pm and the eye doctor wasn't even there. After arguing with her that yes, I had definitely booked the appointment there and talked to someone the night before she finally made some phone calls. Turns out I was right and that she hadn't bothered to checked her email for updated appointments. Then I got to hear all the excused as to why the doctor wasn't going to be there for another 45 mins. The receptionist decided to complete the preliminary eye test before the doctor arrived only to find out that we had to do them twice since she failed to have me remove my contact lenses and then we found out that some of the machines didn't even work. Back to the waiting room I went until the doctors assistant showed up. We went into another room to do the actual eye test and she couldn't get the projector to work. After fumbling around for what seemed like forever we finally got the test completed. Then the doctor finally showed up. She did the regular "follow the pen" tests and looked at my eyes with a light. She told me my eyes looked great and were very healthy. Then it got interesting... a few seconds after her raving review about my healthy eyes she suddenly changed her mind and told me that I had moderate-severe blood vessel growth from wearing my contacts too long. She then went to the back and gave me a sample of some ridiculously expensive contacts to try and said these were the ones I needed to correct my eyes that were now suddenly in poor health. Sure. When I went to pay the receptionists she handed me a bill for $95. $95??? Are you kidding me?? Half the machines didn't work and I waited over an hour for the doctor to arrive for the 3pm appointment time that apparently didn't exist and they had the nerve to charge $20-$30 more than anywhere else. Then the doctor came back out and told me the it was actually going to be $105!!! When I questioned the joke of the bill the doctor told me there was a $10 extra charge because I wore contacts (huh??) and that it also covered the cost of the FREE sample of contacts she gave me. I took the contacts out of my pocket and told her she could keep her "free" pair of expensive contacts and that I was paying the $95. She grab the lenses off the counter and literally stormed into the back room and SLAMMED the door behind her like a freaking child... the receptionist looked about as stunned as I must have! End result... NEVER BOOK ANYTHING HERE EVER! With the amount of optometrists in this city that offer great service at a reasonable price I'd by-pass this joke of a business at all costs.

The staff at Browz (Kallie and Victoria) are awesome! They are very friendly, welcoming and supportive. They spent close to 3 hours working with me to put my contacts in properly before I was allowed to purchase them. Dr. Fu examined my eyes multiple times to make sure the prescription was right and took the time to explain proper eye care. Great team and service. Highly recommended!
