I've been going to Dr Dolgoff for over 20 years. His office has the latest state of the art technology to test for various eye conditions. He is personable in his approach and extremely knowledgeable. Several times Dr Dolgoff has gone well beyond what would normally be provided in an normal eye exam to help me resolve various problematic eye issues.

I was a little early, but they had me fill out all the forms, then give me the eye screening tests so we could move things along. Me with the doctor to discuss what was going on with my eyes and what may happen as I age. Then took the eye test, without being hurried to make sure I was satisfied. the doctor made me feel that what I saw was correct. I can hardily recommend this office as to the satisfaction I felt when I was through.

There was some confusion on the appointment time, so I arrived a bit early, but I needed to fill out forms anyway. The office staff is efficient, friendly, and quickly ran me through all the basic tests. Dr. Nguyen then did the vision analysis, and another test was required. Dr. Nguyen then showed me results and explained in detail what actions I should take. Altogether an extremely pleasant experience at a price that is less than 1/2 of outside providers. Very good experience indeed.

This was an easy exam that Dr Dolgoff actually made very enjoyable by his expertise and friendliness. This was the first time I was able to see a picture of the inside of my eyes and recognize that I’ve got some cataracts and macular degeneration happening. We have been there for my husband facing some dizziness issues which we doubted was eye related but he explained in detail how it was not related and gave the confidence it’s no way a big problem . Had a very bad experience. At the time of the visit I was told that the visit was fully covered and I wont be charged anything but later found out that they do not do their due diligence to even check that. Looks like they just filed it against an old insurance plan that I had. And now I have to pay the total amount. When I called them up they didn't even care. Just told me to pay up. Have been Going there every year for 4 years. Never going back again.

My examination by Dr Li deserves 5 stars, but my experience with the testing equipment was not so good. The peripheral vision machine, in particular, was irritatingly useless. I left Costco Optical disappointed, but that was my fault. My natural vision has gotten better as I've aged and I'd hoped that a single lens would now be enough to correct remaining problems with double vision. Instead, Dr Li convinced me that it would actually take 3 separate prescriptions to give me clear vision at every range! That Dr Li was able to demonstrate that convincingly after one examination was impressive, even though it wasn't pleasing.

It is important to know that this is not some big cookie-cutter corporate operation. This is an independent, local business that happens to be located inside Costco. I never write reviews, but these people are so great that I felt I just had to. I had an unfortunate accident where I scratched my eye, or at least I thought that's all it was. When it started hurting like crazy a few hours later, I couldn't get in to see my normal ophthalmologist. I work near Costco so I called this place hoping they could just take a look quickly and tell me what I needed to do, but they handled it completely. It turned out I had actually cut my eye (like a paper cut) and there was a little flap of the eye surface lifting up! Dr. Dolgoff was able relieve the pain almost instantly and patch me up with a special bandage contact and some antibiotics. Not only did they squeeze me in for that first appointment, but they stayed late the following two nights to get me in and make sure everything was healing properly. Dr. Dolgoff even gave me his personal mobile number in case anything went wrong!

It was an interesting experience! The 2 ladies; Tia & Shannon are super nice and they were multi tasking at the front end. Dr. Cindy Hung can definitely improve on her customer service skills, after all it is a business. After the eye exam she asked me a couple of times if I had any questions, I did not have any significant questions about the test. When I got the printed out prescription I did have a question. Shannon at the front office tried to answer, however, she needed some clarification and she went to Dr. Hung to get the answer. At that point Dr. Hung responded in an agitated and rude manner as if the info. I was seeking was already explained to me. I did not have the printed prescription, how could I have asked a question regarding the prescription before getting one. Dr. Hung could have a left a neutral customer until she really screwed it up at the end. I have been to this office a few times for my self and my mother. I was a happy customer until today. I hope Dr. Dolgoff considers this review and address the problem.
