I felt welcome as soon as they opened the door. Everyone was so friendly and kind. Rae helped me pick out my new glasses as my prescription changed. She was knowledgeable, she explained the choices I had and how they might benefit me, and made the process so easy and enjoyable. Thank-you Rae, I appreciate your time and patience. Dr.Owusu is phenomenal and has really made a difference in my overall well-being over the years that I have seen him. This was a great experience overall, thank-you Prairie Eye Care. I can't wait to pick up my new glasses.

I love it here! Nice, quiet atmosphere, friendly, professional staff, and great selection of glasses. I saw Dr. Marco Kosowski for an eye test and he was great not only with me, but also with my 1 year old during his eye test. Very kid-friendly and patient! Only downside is that my appointment ended up being about 30 minutes later than scheduled (hard to keep a child entertained for that long) but otherwise I would definitely recommend Prairie Eye Care - Henderson!

As a person who suffers severely from seasonal allergies, PEC has been a lifesaver for me. Particularly the care shown by Dr. Owusu, Dr. Lee, and the front desk staff has been phenomenal. Being outside in the Spring is no longer a death sentence for my eyes thanks to their combination of drops. On top of it all, I got a great deal on glasses! I highly recommend this office!

Always a very good experience. I would definitely rate Prairie Eye Care as the best optometry clinic in Manitoba. I feel safe with the measures they have in place. The staff and docs are all friendly and professional. I like that they take the time to explain the importance of good lenses and the many options available. Prompt in answering calls and very kind in abswering questions. My whole extended family goes. Would highly recommend.

Visited as a first time customer. The entrance doors were broken and left closed, there was a sign saying to slide them open which was not easy, and had I of been elderly that surely would have been a problem. The receiptionist was very unwelcoming from the start, I ended up leaving and booking an appointment elsewhere as I did not want to deal with her. Not sure why this place has great reviews.

Dr. Marco Kosowski and staff were great, especially with my toddler. Very patient and kid friendly. Just went for eye exams. No glasses needed. Very nice facility.

I received good advice and support when picking out my new glasses. I have had my glasses for several months and have not one complaint. It was my first time visit to this place and I was asked to fill up the form. I checked with the receptionist of something that I didn't understand in the form so this is what she had to tell, if you or someone in your family had this problem, then you would have known about it, like seriously!? She was so rude even while going through my eye tests. Not friendly at all and even racist is what my opinion about her. Coming to the doctor, he was rushing through the eye test, one should be patient so that the number is correct which I dont feel in my case. Plus he thinks he is oversmart, I didn't like his attitude hence I do not recommend this place!

This place was amazing!! Very helpful and the doctor that I saw was great with my child and put her anxiety at ease. The staff is very knowledgeable and were so helpful when I was trying glasses on. Also, while looking at glasses, another lady came in to have her glasses adjusted and they didn’t hesitate to help. I will recommend this place to anyone who is looking for eye care.

I had the best experience here! I put off the task of picking out new glasses because I knew I would need good help to decide... but I came in and got fantastic help from Marianna, who was so knowledgeable, genuine and warm. She turned around how I felt about needing new glasses and actually got me feeling confident and excited for them. HIGHLY recommend!

Triple Threat

Great services and lovely docs (Dr’s Nana and Marco), but disappointed by what I see upfront in spite of friendly and knowledgeable support staff. The girls seem to be cliquey and gather, excluding some staff, talking smack about others and clients, lying to customers for sales, getting family and friends to boost ratings, etc. It all just seems like a facade. Not the sort of environment I want to expose my children to. I’m hoping a sister location will have better professionalism :)

Been going to Praire Eye Care for years for my kids (this and GC location). Last 2 experiences put a bad taste in my mouth, last one especially. They are consistently late getting patients in, upwards of 30 minutes. Last appointment was nearly an hour late, and Dr. Lee had the audacity to leave after about 5 minutes into the appointment to further go assist the other patient he had been so late with. This was at least another 10 minutes. I was so fed up I almost walked out. Couldn't believe this is how they were treating long term customers. Total lack of time management and clear disregard for our time, despite having a 6 and 3 year old waiting. Unfortunately this last time was the last straw for us. We will be going elsewhere for our eye care and eyeglass needs in the future.

Went to prairie eye care for the first time this past month for some new glasses. The optical staff was amazing &very accommodating. I was interested in a specific style of glasses & by the time I came into for my appointment they showed me to the selection of frames and chose a handful for me to try on. Long story short, the staff was friendly and amazing and made looking for new glasses easy & fun. 10/10 would recommend.
