My husband and I both got our eye exams/glasses from Nuvue after bouncing around between different optometry clinics over the years, and I think we've found one to stick with. The girls at the desk were super helpful and knowledgable about their products. They gave us their honest opinions as to which frames suited us best, while giving us space to check them out on our own. Dr. Devin Almond took the time to explain to us the results of our testing in a way that was very straight-forward and easy to understand... as they use a lot of high-tech gear that I hadn't seen before! We were also sent off with a nice "goodie bag" each full of glasses/contacts essentials, which was greatly appreciated. The team totally went out of their way to get our glasses put together quickly as we were only in town for a few days. Highly recommend this clinic!

**You might want to read my story before you buy anything from them** Because of COVID it took me couple days to get an appointment to order my glasses lenses. I specifically asked for Zeiss optical lens, which is famous for its quality. Because of my right eye high astigmatism it took me 2 weeks to have my lenses (reasonably). Finally I received my lenses in a nice bag with Zeiss logo. When I got home I noticed they gave me a card (Photo is attached) for my lenses saying they are from another optical company (D|R)!!!! I searched it and barely found anything. I contacted Nuvue team and addressed my concern about receiving a different thing and told them everyone knows Zeiss has a trademark on the lens in the form of a stylised ZEISS "Z" (photo attached). Surprisingly, not only the didn't accept these lenses were not from Zeiss but also they told me they've never seen such thing in their 20 years of selling Zeiss lenses!! After couple back and forth emails they mentioned these lenses are only licensed by Zeiss and didn't even apologized for it. My point is even if these lenses are better than Zeiss I am not enjoying them because this is not what I ordered and I have lost my trust on the store. It's better to tell the truth and let the costumer choose, even if we're considering our costumer budget.

Best Optometrist experience that I've ever had!! I walked in off the street looking for sunglasses and I decided to get my eyes checked since I hadn't been to an Optometrist in 18 years. I booked my appointment on a Friday afternoon for the following Monday. I showed up for my appointment 1/2 hour early because I couldn't remember the exact time. After filling out the forms, I sat down prepared to wait for the next 30 minutes but my name was called before I could get my phone out of my hand bag.. The eye exam was fast with state of the art equipment, and the Doctor explained every picture that was taken. I would recommend Nuvue to anyone who needs to have their eyes checked.

I was referred to this company by a coworker, who had nothing but great things to say. I walked in to Nuvue, not knowing what to expect. I was unfamiliar with the business, and very hesitant. With that being said, all my concerns were taken from me, the moment I was greeted. From the first hello, I was treated with the utmost courtesy and professionalism. Each person I dealt with was as knowledgeable and courteous as the last. They asked what I was most interested in, what my concerns with certain brands were, and what I was planning to use my glasses for. They then showed me around to the different sections, and patiently waited as I un-decisively tried on dozens of pairs of perfectly presented high end glasses. In the end, I found the most perfect pair!! I was then politely helped through my insurance details, and we finished with no financial surprises. Not only did they provide the best service, but their glasses and presentation were second to none I’ve ever seen! If you are anywhere near Kelowna, and are looking for a great pair of premium prescription lenses or sun-glasses, then you must certainly try them out. I will surely be taking my wife here to get tested and fitted, within the month. 7 out of 5 stars!

My wife and I can’t thank Dr. Devin Almond and the staff at Nuvue Optometry enough! We had the most incredible and efficient experience ever. On a recent trip to the interior, my wife began seeing floaters in her vision. When we reached Kelowna we immediately called Nuvue Optometry. Given the very serious vision consequences that floaters can indicate such as detaching retinas, they fitted her in immediately. Luckily, they were able to give me an eye exam as well. After Kelsey did a great job of explaining all the advanced diagnostic technology she was using during our pretesting, Dr. Almond was able to see, and show us in the scans, that not only did my wife have a tear in her retina, but even with no signs or symptoms and to my great surprise, I did as well! Dr. Almond then referred us to an Ophthalmologist immediately, and by 3:00 pm that day we were both in having laser treatment to fix the tears! As my case shows, you can have very serious, vision threatening problems developing in your eyes, with no signs or symptoms which can lead to blindness. Blindness is forever! So please, have your vision checked on a regular basis. To Dr. Devin Almond and the staff at Nuvue Optometry, with sincere gratitude, thank you for having the latest diagnostic technology coupled with your kind, caring, prompt and excellent professional service. If you would like to experience a first class customer service experience in optometry please visit Nuvue in Kelowna. I chose Nuvue because of their high online reviews. I have to admit I was sceptical of so many 5 star ratings. I recently moved from Calgary where I was advised by an opthemologist to see an optometrist for a special type of lense to correct my vision problem. I called Nuvue and made an appointment. Right from the time I walked through the door on my first visit and my subsequent visit to pick up my glasses I I was delighted with every aspect of this office. Very friendly, knowledgeable and capable staff. I was very impressed with Dr. Devin Almond. Very confident, competent and professional manner. He asked the right questions. He understood exactly what I needed to correct my eyesight problem. Devin Explained my situation and the resulting lenses are providing me with the best vision I’ve had in 20 years. I do not give out 5 stars easily, but I can’t think of a critical thing I can say about this office. Without a doubt I’d recommend Dr Devin Almand and staff to family and friends. Thank you!

I called to get my PD measured and they said they were unable to as it wasn’t my regular optometrist. I just recently moved so I was looking for a new eye doctor. The receptionist told me my only option was to YouTube how to measure my PD myself. She did not seem interested in helping me what so ever. I ended up going to iSight and they were happy to help and did so at no charge! will not be recommending nuvue!

Earlier this year, I got my eyes checked here and bought a pair of glasses and I had a great experience. Also, in the fall I got an eye infection and called and they got me in the same day which was a relief. They have a great selection of glasses that are very reasonably priced and their eye exams are very comprehensive and thorough. Wow! I have never had such an amazing customer experience. Every interaction with the staff (including Dr. Devin Almond) was SO professional and genuinely caring. I have to single out Denise (Office Manager) though for her unparalleled commitment to ensuring I was taken care of. I had some trouble adjusting to my new prescription and their team was so patient. I was brought in to retest my eyes and Denise refused to quit until my vision was absolutely dialed in. Over the course of several months we tried slight variations on the prescriptions and differing glass materials before it clicked. Magic! My vision has never been better. Denise never made me feel "high-maintenance" (which I was worried about). In fact, she asked me to keep her updated and insisted that she truly wanted to make sure everything was as good as it could be. I've never experienced such a high level of customer service. Denise's outstanding care and attention has earned this customer for life at Nuvue Optometry. I could not be more pleased.

I have been impressed with Nuvue every time I have gone in. They have some very affordable, stylish lens & frame packages, and their staff are extremely helpful and professional. They take the time to make sure your glasses fit great when you leave. And when my frames that were less than a year old broke (totally my fault), they replaced them in 4 days at no charge. I will not be returning to Nuvue Optometry and would not recommend them - I have had multiple issues with the services provided and the lack of empathy seen from team members is beyond me. 1. My original frame was broken while they were switching out my lenses - A service which they advertise on their website. They gave me no indication at all that my frame may not be able to cope with the stress of a lens exchange. 2. They insisted on me paying full price for a new pair of frames. After multiple awkward phone calls with them, they discounted a pair of frames - I still had to pay over 50%. 3. It took them THREE attempts to cut the lenses and have them inserted into my new frame. By which time my PD was measured twice because it was measured incorrectly in the first instance. 4. The vision was not right and I had to go back again for another eye exam - The original prescription they provided was incorrect and I had to wait a further week for new lenses! The vision is still not perfect but I do not believe that they will be able to resolve the issue without making it worse. It has taken me over 7 weeks to get a pair of glasses from them that I am still not 100% happy with - during those 7 weeks I had to wear an old pair of glasses which are the incorrect prescription and caused me to have headaches. I have still not received a sincere apology - I have no faith in their services and would advise you to avoid them at all costs.

I had an eye exam here, and ended up purchasing my glasses from Nuvue. I am trying to remember now, but I actually think I chose my glasses and they prepared them the same day! It was easier to choose the glasses because they had a program on an iPad that could put my face side by side to compare the glasses I was waffling between. They also gave me two types of contacts to try to see which ones I liked better before buying them. I ordered my contacts from here too, and was hoping to have them before my trip to Cuba, but they weren't in. They hooked me up, and gave me a couple to cover at least a few days during the trip! I would definitely recommend Nuvue.

I would definitely recommended this store! :) Visited today to look at new glasses. I was greeted as soon as I entered and asked if I needed any assistance. The lady who helped me was very friendly and kind. She recommended a variety of frames from the terrible description I gave her of ones I had found at another store. The lady was very patient and helpful (I am very picky with glasses). I found a pair I was interested in and she gave me a quote for the frames and lenses. Very reasonable prices compared to other stores. My quote for frames and lenses came to about $400 where other stores were in the $500-$700 range. They had a huge variety of styles and brands. Lots of well-known brands as well. The store itself was clean, bright, and professional.

I recently attended this clinic for a complete eye exam. I found the ladies on the desk to be very courteous and helpful. I also found the examination they administer to be very thorough using what appeared to be some very sophisticated equipment. They even took my blood pressure which was a first for me at an optometrists clinic. Dr. Almond was very professional. He took the time to listen to my concerns and explained his findings in detail in an easy to understand fashion showing test results on a computer screen. My family and I have found a new optometrist! Thank-you!

I recently switched to Dr. Folk at Nuvue Optometry, and could not be happier. From the moment you walk in the door, you can feel the difference; May, Manroop, and Kelsey at reception greet you with a smile. Everyone is friendly, and the care is excellent. The quality of my vision has improved with the first successful contact fitting since my laser eye surgery years ago. The contacts have made an enormous difference to supplement my vision for active sports like skiing. Riley is the optician who found just the right sunglasses for me from their frame inventory. There is even a play area in the office, definitely a plus for families with young children. Their central location near London Drugs has plenty of free parking. I would highly recommend the team at Nuvue for your eyecare needs.

There are 100's of frames to choose from, ranging in price and style! They even continuously brought pairs for me to try on while I stayed at the mirror!
