All though I never got a chance to meet the Dr I had to walk out and leave. The lady at the front desk was quite rude. The person on the phone that I spoke with when I called to re book the appointment date that they scheduled was unprofessional and very rude as well.

Terrible front staff. Ignorant. I'm waiting for my Mom who has mobility issues to let me know when she is done as I sit in my car due to Covid 19. My goodness..would it hurt to crack a smile or say a kind word? I would NOT recommend this place to anyone just due to the front staff. May be adding to this review once my Mom comes out of the appt. Patiently waiting

Dr. Hopp prescribed the WRONG LENS! Dr. Ross implanted it, this wasn't his fault. In order to have it replaced I have to sign a consent form absolving them of any wrong doing. There is a 35 to 75% chance of making it worse or potentially blindness. As an artist and photographer this has ruined my life.

After the 2 hours it took for this place to lead me into 4 different testing rooms, 3 times in the doctor's room, 2 waiting rooms and one nasty technician, I was really happy to finally leave the chaos of this office. When I finally got to see the doctor for the third time and was led into his room, he spent the first minute texting on his phone, ignoring both me and the technician. When she left he texted for another 2 minutes while completely ignoring me. He finely looked up, said sorry and walked out of the room through the adjoining door to the next patient, half-heartedly pulling the door closed. When a tech entered the room, the interior door blew open. The elderly lady looked uncomfortable that I could see her, as there was no privacy. The doctor started speaking to the technician about another patient they named by name, saying that she would rather stay a hypochondriac than take the pills he gave her to make things better. He again half-heartedly pulled on the door, with the door blowing open a second time moments later. I finally got up and shut the door completely and received a thank you look from the elderly lady. While the doctor was in the room with her, I could hear the entire discussion over whether she needed a cataract removal or not. When he finally came back to my room, he made sure to close the door completely. Obviously he got the message. He spent maybe 5 minutes with me and never even checked my eyes (he felt the pictures on the computer were sufficient.) He told me I could go, beginning his dictation before I even left the room. So here is the bottom line - my appointment took a full 2 hours before I could leave. While they were leading me from room to room and between 2 waiting rooms, they are also doing the same with other patients at the exact same time. There are 4 technicians and 4 patients in different stages of processing, all trying to not bump into each other. They are highly disorganized. The technicians are frustrated with the elderly patients because they aren't able to move as fast as they would like them to. It felt like a meat processing plant where they are moving the cattle along as fast as possible. The doctor does not communicate properly with the technicians except to gossip about other patients in front of current patients. There is a lack of basic privacy, so don't expect anyone to keep your business strictly your business. The doctor lacks the basic respect for patients by not properly closing doors and texting on your time. You are given a minimal amount of time to do things like discuss the pros and cons of treatment or to even ask questions, before being ushered out so they can process the next person. The technicians are the wheels of the entire operation, doing the majority of the work instead of the doctor. He gets the big money while they do the bigger part of his job for him so he can move people in and out as fast as possible. After all, more patients in a day means more money for him. They lack the basic respect for the privacy and rights of the patients to be treated nicely, as one technician berated an elderly man in her care for no apparent reason. It took far too long to only be seen for a total of less than 10 minutes with the doctor, 3 minutes of which he was texting while I was waiting for an acknowledgement that I was even in the room. I will never go back here again and will find another ophthalmologist's office that won't devalue the people that pay his mortgage.

I have not had my surgery yet, but the staff has been great, helpful and accommodating. Parking on the other hand....yeesh!

I like the staff, have always been good to my mom. This last visit my mom wasn't frozen properly and when he went to give her a needle, of course, she pulled away and instead of being apologetic and caring he got annoyed and walked out. His lack of empathy and cold attitude is enough for me to be finished with him. Time to retire.. My moms eye looks horrible. I'm sooo mad!

The office staff and assistants treat you like an object to collect data from. Every manner indicates that they just want you to go away as patients are apparently a nuisance for them. The tech that runs the visual field test is just plain nasty and I felt like I wanted to hit her if she barked at me one more time "Don't open your mouth!" while she sets up the test. Not only do I not open my mouth, I do not move, swallow, blink or breathe when she is working but still get the same reprimand every time. She needs to go back for further training if she has that hard a time setting up the test. I put up with this office for far too many years because I thought as long as they were taking care of my eyes, I could put up with the pathetic attitudes. I was concerned with my vision loss but was always told to keep doing what I was doing with no further cautions or information until I went to a new doctor for a second opinion. Now I am trying to save what is left of my optic nerve. I was elated when I left my new office just knowing that they would take me as a patient and I would not have to deal with Hopp's office again. I should have made that move a lot sooner. I would rather drive to Vancouver for an appointment than to go back to Hopp.. (I had to edit this over and over to find alternate words that are more acceptable for public than what I would like to type.)

Dr. Hopp was just awesome with my 97 year old mom. He was so gracious and respectful in every way. My mom is so pleased with the results of her surgery Looking forward to the second one!

A very busy office. Very intensive. They are interested in your eyes. Follow their rules, don't be in a rush. I'm impressed - I found out what I needed to about my eyes. Thank you to Dr Hopp and his entire Crew!

Went to see dr.ross the staff was very unprofessional. Dr.Ross looked like a fish out of water.. I will do anything to see someone better...

Dr. Ross was great. However, the staff, with the exception of the surgical assistant, is incredibly rude. I actually cringe every-time I need to call the office. The staff is is obviously over-worked and not afraid to share it with everyone both energetically and verbally. The office is a mess and dirty. I'd like to state again that Dr. Ross has taken excellent care of me and my two cataract surgeries went well.

Go elsewhere unless you enjoy complete rudeness. I dreaded every appointment & every phone call. The tone, attitude & rudeness were unbearable. I get it, they are extremely busy & are seeing many clients per day but goodness...get some training in customer service & have some empathy for the clients you are serving who may have anxiety about the procedure they are going to you for. One star is far to many in my opinion.
