A return visit resulted in a recheck of my vision and ordering better quality progressive lenses. Lenses were received within a few days and are superior to the originals. The doctors and staff at Jasper Eye have been absolutely wonderful. My first set of frames hurt my nose because of the eye piece so they replaced the frames with a frame similar to my old glasses. After wearing these a couple of days it was apparent I needed something else so I returned and they reexamined my eyes and we decided I probably needed a "tri" focal to see distance, computer, and close up. They are doing everything possible to help get me a pair of glasses that will work. I would highly recommend Jasper Eye Associates.

2012 was my first visit to JEA. I see Dr. James. The last optometrist group I went to said that my monovision would make me unlikely to be able to use progressive lenses so I ended up with 2 pair of glasses. A daily frustration. Dr. James said he didn't see why progressives wouldn't work and suggested I try. First pair, no problem! Put them on and didn't take them off for 4 hours. The next day I wore them all day. The optician helped me select a lens size that would work for the progression and look good on my small face. 2013 visit I ordered sunglasses with the same prescription. The wide scan photography they can do of the eye costs more than my insurance will cover. However, it has picked up a potential problem with my vision. It's good that this technology is available and offered. Dr. James was very good with discussing the is problem, answering all my questions and directing me to the specialist who can provide treatment. 5 stars from me.

Every one at this office is polite and professional. This was my second visit, and I am really very impressed with the staff. Dr. Wright is very professional as well. He's friendly, gives a thorough eye exam and covers all the important factors pertaining to eye care. I have not had new glasses in a while, so I wanted new frames. I probably tried on 25 pairs of frames. Melissa was very accommodating, and did not mind at all even though she has to hand wash them all due to Covid 19. She also helped me choose my frames and they were not tut he most expensive frames either. She helped me with my last purchase of glasses as well, and I've never had so many compliments on a pair of glasses, and I've worn glasses for 35+ years. The Jasper Associates office staff and doctors took all precautions to comply with Covid 19 safety and cleanliness procedures. I would recommend them any time.

I have been going to this office for several years now. Everyone has always been friendly when I have been here. I was so happy to find an optometrist that was close to where I live. But I went for my contact lense exam last Friday and everyone there was new. I saw one lady (Jeanie) that I knew. It seems like they cannot keep their office staff. I have worn contacts since 1988 and I have always been given a test for your peripheral vision. Not this time. I felt that the young lady rushed through my exam on my eyes. Then when I go to check out, I am told that the AirOptix color contacts are $120/box! A years supply was going to be $480 I was told. I have VSP insurance and knew that I had a $130 allowance but this price seemed ridiculous. I ended up getting a copy of my prescription so I could shop around for my contacts. I called VSP and asked for them to send me a list of providers in my area that I could use my $130 contact lense allowance. I started calling around all the optometrists in my area. None of these providers were charging what Jasper Eye Associates were charging for the AirOptix Color contacts. So I called Jasper Eye Associates back and I spoke to Jeanie. I told her that no other office was charging $120/box and could this be a mistake? They have new staff and I thought maybe the girl quoted me the wrong price. Jeanie proceeds to tell me that since Alcon raised their prices, so did they. She said actually the contacts are $129/box. So they changed the price from $120 on Friday to $129 on Monday when I called. But no other office charges this exorbitant price. I would advise everyone to not buy your contacts from this provider. I believe they set whatever prices they want. They have now lost one of their long time patients and my daughter and husband as well.
