Cancelled appointment because 1) it was 2 months out and 2) I was told the basic eye exam would be $250.00 so there would be additional charges for anything above the basic exam, not even counting cost for glasses. I also did not like having to give out my social security # over the phone this day and time either.

I have been a patient of Dr. Camp's for over a decade. He is, by far, the best ophthalmologist in the area (and I would say likely one of the best in north Georgia). He has very good instincts about what treatments may be needed when. If you are diabetic, be mindful that one factor you really need to focus on is the possibility of diabetic retinopathy. I had issues with that when I first went to see him, and those have been resolved. It is something I will still need to monitor lifelong, but I want to personally thank Dr. Camp for putting me on the right path in regards to this issue.

I found Dr Camp to be very personable and professional! Everyone working in the office is welcoming from the moment you walk into their lobby! I was referred to Dr Camp by my Optometrist for a possible retina detachment... He did the necessary tests and found it to be intact! He was so comforting during a very scary time for me! Thank you, Dr Camp and all the wonderful people that work in your office!!!
