I had PRK corrective eye surgery performed here 4 years ago and my vision is nearly back to where it was prior to surgery. I noticed the decline in vision 1 year post-surgery and was back to requiring corrective lenses soon after. I requested a follow-up to determine why my vision declined so rapidly and was told that I needed to be referred back by an optometrist. This didn’t make since to me as I never needed a referral for the initial surgery and one would think where they performed the surgery and pre-op procedures, they would have more interest in determining what happened also. I did end up meeting with an optometrist and they said there was scarring over one of my eyes from surgery which could be effecting my vision along with my eyesight declining post-surgery. It’s been a discouraging process to go through and I can’t say I would be willing to undergo another corrective eye surgery, at least not here anyways.

I had, without any doubt, the most painful eyes one could image. A friend of mine had been a patient with a doctor in this group and was very pleased. So, I called and made an appointment asking the receptionist for an ophthalmologist who might be able to help me. She set me up with Dr. Steerer :) He's not only excellent as a doctor but truly one of my favorite doctors (very likeable and friendly!). This has to be one of the top group of eye specialists in the country!

I have been visiting Dr Samuel Solish here and I've found the staff attentive, the waiting times were short, and the treatment was first rate. The examinations were thorough and the explanations were easy to understand, and they never hurried me. And as an added bonus, it's near the Portland Transportation Center, so I can travel most of the way via a bus.

I called here today for an appointment because they are the only eye doctors in my network and I believe I need some glasses. The woman who picked up the phone, Jennifer, seemed super annoyed with my call, interrupted me, talked really fast, and was not helpful at all. She seemed as though my two minute call was a huge inconvenience to her day and I was told that they do not do regular eye exams though it says they do on their website. I will never go here in the future due to the unprofessionalism on the phone. I'd rather my call not be taken than being talked over and rushed like I was.

I saw Dr Parnes at Eyecare recently. I found the staff to be very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr parnes explained to me what was happening with my vision in a way that I could understand and what my treatment options are. I was there about two hours which was a long time, but lots of testing was done and the care was wonderful.

Recently I made the decision to have cataracts removed from both of my eyes. I have had the opportunity to visit the facility four times over the past three weeks. Each time I felt like I was the only patient even though they are performing many operations every day. The long and short of my review is my experience was excellent. From the receptionist to the nurses to pre op, ops and post ops members were attentive and supportive. They are all part of the team for Dr Richard France. It is a well run organization which shows support as a patient is moved from one team member to another. KUDOS to everyone there! AND I can see so much better, it's always said, I should have done it a long time age :>)

Please get me in to see someone between the 10–15th of this month cannot drive or see Bonnie Flanagin It’s 28th of October and due to Dr Sterrer leaving a eye contact left on there 20 days, without him seeing it ??? I’m still not able to see. I saw Dr France and his technition, we are very encouraged. Hoping he can get my eyesight back again, Dr Sterrer said he is only usually stumped once a month??? What kind of statement is that to make. Thank you Bonnie Flanagin. You better pay attention to this note. , I can’t see the person next to me, I’ll see Dr France on the 8 th I have a pair of glasses made up by Eye Tech, I need YOUR glasses department to remake the lenses, while im there, because if you folks don’t get me to see , I’ll take this much further. I’ll see Dr France and hear his suggestions. Please help me to at least get me glasses that I can see like a regular human being. I don’t know if the contact Dr Sterrer left on my eye for over a month is the cause of my not being able to see from that eye or not. Please get me new lenses the day of my appointment, this is my last message to you. Dr Sterrer said he’s stumped come back in 30. days, im only usually stumped once a month, he ought to think about taking a contact once in a while not in a month. First class facility. I have been going here for several years as a glaucoma suspect patient and for annual eye exams. Last winter I decided to have laser corrective surgery. Dr. Sise and his staff recommended PRK over Lasik due to an underlying condition in my eyes that may not affect me for many years. They gave very detailed information about what to expect during and after surgery and what the recovery process would be like. They took excellent care of me through the entire process. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I saw Dr. Parnes, he did a lazer surgery due to a hole in my retina. He seemed like he was all business. He was pleasant and i felt he was a very good doctor. The office was so busy and the wait time is unacceptable. I heard other people complaining about waiting. It appeared like the doctors were not in any hurry to get to the patients. Over all, i am happy with my results.

Was not told that only “the patient” would be allowed in the building. We wore our masks, used their sanitizer, got temps taken then was told only the patient could stay. Well, we are married and we make large medical and financial decisions together. End of story. They do not deserve our hard earned money. There are other places.

Dr. Sise, Jana, Barbara and the rest of the EMG staff made what could have been a nerve wracking experience a smooth and successful one. They answered all of my questions and were thorough in explaining my options and the potential outcomes. Dr. Sise understood my vision needs and worked with me to achieve an outcome I am happy with.
