I had an appointment today at Consulting Ophthalmologists in Glastonbury, CT. This was a referral from the Hartford Headache Center. As a new patient, the impression this office gives is that they only care about the money coming in, they don't truly care about the QUALITY of care. I checked in at 1:15pm and didn't leave until 3:35pm. Almost 2 and a half hours! I have never spent that long at an eye appointment before!!! Nurses are the ones who do your eye exam, your field of vision testing, etc. You only see the doctor at the end for about 5-10 minutes. When I brought up the issues I was having, he simply said I don't know. WHAT?! According to them, my eye glasses prescription didn't change but yet, my eyes are blurry?! I have been a customer of Target Optical (Dr Stimac) for several years. You can get a much better quality exam, more tests, and someone who wants to help you in much less time period. What a disappointment Consulting Ophthalmologists was.

Usually overbooked, rarely get in to my appointment within 30 minutes of my time. Have been happy with my doctor but waiting that long every time is getting old fast

The first visit they were great. Went back this year for an exam and boy, was I disappointed! They are extremely over booked. I waited over AN HOUR for my appt! Desk staff is impatient and unfriendly. They are only concerned with $$$ and not helping you. The Dr. is great, but that's about it. I had called back after my appt to see about getting in to see the Dr. for a different issue. Sorry, booked for months, unless you want to call it an EMERGENCY visit??? LOL Meaning - pay double? They clearly don't care about their patients, only about making money. Looking for a new Dr. and will not recommend anyone to them anymore.

Very well run office from the folks who check you in to the technicians to the doctors. Very little wait time. Thorough explanation of exam results and any procedures required.

Doctor is nice, office staff are OK, but waiting time is always too long. My annual exam usually took 1 and half hour. Most of that is just waiting. To have eye exam and to see doctor took only 15 minutes or so.

CONSULTING OPHATHALMOLOGISTS, P.C. 704 HEBRON AVE STE 200 GLASTONBURY, CT 06033 This can't be real. Had an appointment at 1:30p check in at 1:15p it is now 3:02p waiting to be seen. I am currently at the Glastonbury branch. Dont know if this is normal practice for this place. First time here, also prabably the last time here. Still not seen. Have to leave for another appointment at CCMC. Looks like this place is way over books.

Excellent physicians poor patient management. Arrived at the check-in desk at 9:00 didn't see the doctor until 10:30. The move to the new building didn't change much. Wait time still much too long; should be improved.

I love it there. Efficient and well educated . Have taken great care of my diabetic eyes. Nice front desk staff and great optical shop staff in glastonbury Get Phillip if you want superb care In the optical shop. I have had no complaints.

Love my doctor and his staff. They are very friendly, thorough, knowledgeable. They make you feel that you are very important to them! The only thing that could be improved on is the timeliness of scheduling. Although the technical staff take you within a few minutes of your scheduled time, I have waited as long as an hour to see the doctor.

DR. Koval and staff are excellent. They are thorough,professional yet friendly. I was told to return in one month but the checkout informed me that she did not see any time in the schedule. Dr's assistant would contact me. She did but the only opening was out 6 weeks in Farmington. Schedules should not be that tight so as to not be able to fit in a follow up. Maybe a wait list can be established?

I recently had my annual appointment with Dr. Mojica in the Glastonbury office. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient. I really didn't have a chance to get settled before I was called into an exam room. The technician tested my vision and was very thorough. She placed drops in my eyes and said I had to wait for my eyes to dilate. After about 15 minutes, I saw Dr. Mojica. She was pleasant and professional. My experience from beginning to end was a very positive one and on my way out, I learned they are building a new office that will be ready next year. I wouldn't go anywhere except Consulting Ophthalmologists for my eye Care!

I like the doctors, however, the front desk people are rude. While I was trying to make an appointment the lady was so rude she treated me as if I know nothing. One of my lenses was popped out of the frame, I took it to the optical shop part of CO to be placed in. I picked up to wear couple days later and the lens was chipped because of tightening the screw really hard, waste of hundreds of dollars.

Dr. Edwards and his staff are wonderful. It is true that there is a lot of down time but the Dr.spends as much time as needed with you. The front desk personnel are very efficient but could be a little friendlier.

I recently had eye surgery with Dr. Edwards. At my followup appointments the staff in the new Glastonbury office were wonderful. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful and pleasant. The assistants to the doctor were new to me as I had not seen them in that office before and they were both very kind and caring. They answered all my questions and were very well informed so that I knew what to expect. I would recommend Dr. Edwards and his staff to anyone looking for a wonderful ophthalmology group.

Arrogant people at the front desk, you then wait 30+ minutes to see a nurse for an eye exam followed by another 30 minute wait in a second area to see the doctor who sees you for 5 minutes MAX and doesn’t do anything. You need a second appointment for glasses and eye fittings. One time I went and had a range of vision test between the nurse and the doctor with the rudest individual I’ve ever met. If I could give zero stars I would.

Soul Dephined

If you visit this office, be prepared to clear out half your day. You will sit in the waiting room for at least an hour for an initial meet with a tech, then you will be sent to second waiting room where you will wait for an additional 30 minutes or so before you are able to see a doctor. I have had this exact experience on several occasions. It is not a one-time occurrence, slow and inattentive service appears to be their business model.

My initial appointment with Dr Edwards was great. The Front desk staff was friendly and efficient. The tech was knowledgeable and personable. She preformed her task with no stress to me, Dr Edwards was awesome explaining my situation and what he would be doing. My second visit was the day after surgery this appointment was also a great experience. The entire team is efficient and Caring. Shout out to Meg who takes a lot of pride in her work and helping the patients in a efficient manner. In my third visit to the office I was seen by Dr Bushley. Dr Bushley and his entire staff were great also. I highly recommend Dr Edwards and Dr Bushley. They go out of their way so that you have a great experience .
