J'ai été dans le magasin une bonne trentaine de minutes et les manques de profesionnalisme sont évident. Lorsque j'ai dit que j'allais y penser, l'attitude de la dame à changer très rapidement, je n'était plus un client important et c'était évident. (Je suis revenu dans la demi-heure car je ne voulais pas niaiser des mois pour des lunettes). Au prix des lunettes, on s'attend clairement à un meilleur service. 5-8 jours pour livraison de lunette... aucun appel. J'appel le 9eme jour...je suis encore en attente depuis 25 minutes... Je raccroche... Je suis très déçu d'avoir acheter mes lunettes chez Optique Laurier. Piste d'amélioration: Plus de cohésion et certainement une employé de plus... Les moins chère sur le marché pour l'examen de vue...maintenant je comprend pourquoi.

On m’a demandé à pas moins de 5 reprises si j’allais acheter des nouveaux verres ou du moins faire remplacer les lentilles de mes verres et ce après avoir répondu la première fois que je n’avais pas l’intention de faire un achat immédiat. Et pour l’hygiène, on repassera! Il est normal de nettoyer les appareils avec une lingette avant qu’une personne les utilisent. En période de pandémie il me semble que c’est d’autan plus important mais chez Optique Laurier on s’en fiche complètement. Probablement que les lingettes coûtent trop cher. P.S. Même une seule étoile c'est trop !

I would highly recommended that you go elsewhere. I’ve been going to Laurier Optical in Rideau centre for years and have had nothing but great experiences. This year I decided to try this location and cannot express enough how disappointed I was. Firstly, my eye exam was rushed and the doctor didn’t give me an opportunity to ask any questions. Secondly I paid for a contact lens fitting and they gave me the wrong ones with the excuse that they didn’t have any more of the ones I needed. I tried to get in touch with the location to get the correct contact lens prescription since I paid for a fitting and the employee is refusing to give it to me because apparently I need to go in and pay again or order it through them. To top it all off, the extremely rude employee decided that he didn’t want to talk to me anymore and said that he had to go and hung up the phone as I was still speaking. This is by far the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had and I will not be using any of the company’s services or ordering their products in the future. I’ve filed a complaint with the head office and will be following up with them if this is not resolved.

Absolutely outstanding! The employees are all well-mannered, and they take care of customers to their best abilities. When my son was trying on glasses, the manager (?), Rolande, told him if it looked good and basically helped him pick out glasses that look well on him. The prices are cheap, affordable, and they have lovely glasses. Her boss is amazing and sweet too. I tell you, his heart is made out of gold or something! So beyond frustrated. I have been coming to this place for years to get my eye exams done. I have bought glasses in the past here as well. I then started buying contacts. I am a student, so my income is not great and I don't have insurance. My eyesight is horrible, and i need contacts or glasses 24/7 to be able to see. I found that Costco had cheaper contact lenses, so i switched to Costco but continued going here for eye exams because they were very nice to me. This year is tight, so I wanted to try to buy glasses online. I need my pupillary distance for this, and I did an eye exam here about 2 weeks ago so i called to see if they could give the measurement to me. The man on the phone said "No because we know you will go buy it somewhere else". I understand they need to make money, and i understand his reasoning but he was extremely rude when i told him i wouldn't be coming back because he wont give me a measurement of my own eye. He said "you haven't bought products here recently anyways you switched to somewhere else" even though i still do the eye exams there. Not impressed, and will not be going back for any type of service.

They wont give you PD number. Without it you cant get proper glasses. Its crucial to have that number. That give a cheap eye exam, than either you buy glasses at inflated prices, or forced to get another eye exam where they provide PD number. WASTE OF MONEY, DONT GO THERE!

This place is the worst. The dr. Hala was good, but I had to pay 30$ to learn to put contacts in. The receptionist after impatiently forcing me into a pair of sunglasses then was teaching me to put in contacts. I've never been so scarred in my life. Forcing her fingers in my eyes when I said I wanted to learn to do it myself. Then I was trying to take them out and was taking more than 30 seconds and she the clutched my head and scraped the contact off with her nail. I actually feel violated. I never got a chance to put them in or take them out before I was told "now you know how, okay?" The worst experience I've ever had and spent the entire time on the way home asking myself if that just happened. Impatience and zero customer service. Pretty angry that I just spent 500$ there, I wish I had paid at the end. I was pressured so fast into buying sunglasses too. When I buy cheap ones on vacation I take way more time than that. Not impressed. Won't buy from there again
