I adore Dr. Cyr and would like to echo Tigress' words: "Dr. Cyr has a playful sense of humour that instantly sets you at ease. She is very knowledgeable and will take the time to explain your vision conditions with you." My kids and I were/am patient(s) of hers for years. They've grown and have since moved on now (they tend to do that ;)) but I'm still here and have actually just booked an exam (as I am definitely due) and look very forward to my pending visit with her!

**Updated** Dr. Cyr has a playful sense of humour that instantly sets you at ease. She is very knowledgeable and will take the time to explain your vision conditions with you. Dr. Cyr also explained when you must head to Emergency, instead of booking an appointment with her. Julie is wonderful. I had to do a vision field test and found that it was harder on my second eye (because I was seeing a shadow). Julie decided to turn on the lights and let my eyes readjust. After that, I was able to complete the test with ease. My son also required a vision field test (and I was concerned because of his Special Needs). The only suggestion that I gave Julie was to keep the sentences short. All on her own, she decided to do a trial run (so that he could understand what was expected of him). All I can say is Amazing....just Amazing! I went to a Big Box Store to buy non prescription sun glasses. After returning three (3) times for three (3) different sets of sunglasses, it was a no brainer. Yes, Dr. Cyr is more expensive than a Warehouse Optometrist and there is a reason for that. You are paying for quality of service. Update: Dr. Cyr is wheelchair accessable, from the parking lot, off of Rue Tiberius. There is also a washroom that can accommodate a wheelchair.
