Dr. Glen Wicks was just the best, very kind and professional. His staff is truly amazing. Very accommodating and awesome service. Lisa out front helped me get situated with new frames. She was very friendly made me feel comfortable & went through many frames that was a great price for me. Recommend this place 100%. I switched from Vouge Optical due to the lack of professionalism & kindness. I will be staying with these guys for life.

I visited FYIdoctors in Gander on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 for a scheduled eye appointment. My original appointment was for May 3rd; however, I asked the receptionist to call me earlier if they should have a cancellation. I got the call getting me in a week early. I was exceptionally impressed with the clinic from the time I entered. The Covid-19 protocol was by the book, the receptionist acknowledged me as soon as she could. The lady (regretfully I can’t remember her name), who performed the initial tests was very professional & expedient, I had total confidence in her ability. Very shortly after the initial exam, I was greeted by Dr. Glenn Wicks who took the time to cover all the issues related to my eye health. Unlike some medical people, he took all the time required to answer all my questions, and when we were finished, I felt he left no stone unturned. He’s a credit to his profession. Finally, Dr. Wicks assigned me to Ramona. She discussed all my options relating to the best lens type for me, the difference in the various lens types, and her recommendation for me as it related to the correct frames for the particular lens we finally chose. This lady would make a lot of money selling cars. I was more than impressed with her natural ability to sell the product....up sell the product...and make sure I was totally comfortable with my final decisions. From what I observed during my visit, every single person in that office was doing their jobs very professionally and efficiently. I look forward to my next visit.

By far the best experience I have had at an optometrist. The entire team is professional, knowledgeable, extremely helpful, friendly and kind. Dr Wicks patiently and thoroughly explained all areas of the exam as well as future care and sent a report directly to my family doctor. The staff went above and beyond to help with everything from choosing the frames to explaining all the options available and the cost associated with each option. They even stopped dealing with the business side of things when my blood sugar suddenly and unexpectedly dropped, Thank you Ramona for getting me through that. I honestly cannot imagine a better team anywhere. Thank you FYI
