This was by far the best clinic I have ever been in! Their staff is absolutely fantastic! Their optometrists are highly knowledgeable, well trained and educated, and overall amazing individuals! They have up to date technology, very knowledgeable staff, and the entire visit they are super friendly and helpful. I have already suggested to friends and family to try this optometrist! The entire clinic was very clean and felt very welcoming.

Eyecare Kingston has been our go-to for a few years. Overall, our experience has been good but we've become extremely dissatisfied. A while ago, I injured my eye and the pain was not going away. I booked an appointment with Dr. Lewis. After explaining what had happened, he said that he knew exactly what was occurring and explained that I had a tear cornea without examining anything. I had to ask him to do an exam as it had been a few weeks and the pain was constant. The whole appointment took about 10 mins and I was charged $50. I was charged for an appointment in which I, as a patient, had to ask the doctor to examine me, or he wouldn't have. Disappointed in the fact that I was charge for so much, for such little time and care. Definitely will not be returning. (Originally 3 stars) EDIT in response to the business's reply: I've lowered my stars because to me, it's clear that the business wants it to seem like they are offering a solution when that is not the case. After my appointment and reviewing my bill to see the $50, I actually called the clinic right after to ask if there was anything that can be done. I explained the situation again, how I was charged for a quick 'appointment' in which no exam was completed until I explained over and over again how much pain I was in and wanted to ensure that there was no bigger issue...finally, the Doctor used the slit lamp. The receptionist told me she would speak to the doctor and called me back to say that the doctor would not adjust anything.

I had a very similar excellent experience as mentioned by other recent reviewers. I would say this is probably the best experience with an optometry clinic I've ever had. Everything from getting me an appointment within 48 hours for a concerning eye problem, to the kind and well organized office staff, and the thorough and knowledgeable optical technician and Andrew the optometrist. What was so exceptional was the clear and detailed explanation of my eye condition-something I'd never really understood before. I also appreciated the detailed education about what I need to do to manage my eye condition. The clinic is lovely and comfortable, and they have employed all measures to ensure the safety of their patients and themselves from covid-19. Thank you Andrew and team. Looking forward to seeing you all again!

Absolutely amazing staff. All of the ladies I've interacted with through phone calls and throughout my appointment were extremely kind, friendly, and understanding. Catherine was awesome. She is very personable and thorough. They all deserve to be recognized for their great attitudes and rapport with their customers/patients. I'd definitely recommend this place!

Dr. Jeff has to be one of the happiest, most positive people I have ever met. Luckily, I did not need glasses but he did a very thorough job examining my eye. He answered all my questions with much detail (as I am a vet tech student currently learning about the eye) and was very patient. The ladies at the front desk were very pleasant as well and went out of their way to help me, even sending me copies of the images of my eyes I could use as study references. I had great experience and I would recommend them to my family and friends.

Eyecare Kingston gives you that welcoming, relaxed feel of a family business that takes real pride in their work. The amount of care and detail that went into every step of my visit was evident. As soon as you walk in, the reception is friendly and inviting. Lourdes completed my eye scans; she was so kind and cheerful. Dr. Andrew Lewis is clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about optometry. His explanations were thorough and educational but also easy to understand. It is obvious that he really cares about his patients; he is incredibly personable, charming and sincere, making you feel really comfortable. Finally, Dane meticulously fixed my bent out of shape sunglasses and they fit me better than ever! I would definitely recommend Eyecare Kingston, as you can really tell that they love what they do, their technology is above par, and they put patient care above all else.

Dr. Lewis has been my optometrist since 2011 when I moved to Kingston. Best optometrist I have ever had. I've lived in Ottawa now for three years and I still keep him as my eye doctor. My parents live in Kingston and go to him as I recommended and they also have highly positive feedback. Richard and Karen on the optical side are also very nice to deal with.

I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Lewis and his team at Eyecare Kingston. I was recommended to come here after Dr. Lewis looked after my sister and nephew. My sister as a young child had a strabismus which she was told by another eye doctor within the last 3 years had been corrected when in fact it wasn't. Dr. Lewis is very thorough and personable and explains everything clearly. The clinic has significantly better technology than where I was going previously and I was extremely impressed with my visit.

I will never make the mistake again and go anywhere else but this place. You are greeted by the lovely ladies at the desk as soon as you walk in. The staff is amazing. The lady that does the pretest was very friendly. I saw Dr Andrew Lewis, he was fantastic. He does not make you feel rushed so he can get to the next person. Dr. Lewis took his time to explain everything in a way that was easily understood. I would reccomend purchasing your glasses from this place. I had bought glasses from clearlycontacts and they were the wrong prescription (i had been wearing them for 2 years, they were the wrong lenses, did not match with the perscription at the time) after all of that, I saw Richard! Richard has had years in the business; he was very professional and honest in helping me pick out my glasses. I can tell Richard enjoys his job very much. He treats his customers I am sure the way he treats his friend, very welcoming and friendly. Richard was very thorough and made sure my glasses fit perfectly at pickup. I was welcome back if there were any issues with my glasses. Thank you all for the great experience. See you in the future. "I can see clearly now" hah!
