Great customer service by The surgery department. Had a great experience by Dr Sanni and other Doctors and medical and administration staff They do take VA Referrals It’s always good to check with them when waiting for additional service paperwork from the VA Great job
I do NOT recommend this place. When I first got there with my son, who was the patient, the front staff were rude. I had already printed off the paperwork, at their request, and when I gave it to the receptionist, she informed me that two of the forms "she had not seen before". I printed them from the website of this facility. The nurse was great. She was very engaging, asked a lot of questions, and was thorough. Dr. Koloms walked in, asked "your son has had 2 surgeries on his eyes before?" to which I replied yes, and then she refused to treat my son. She informed me she would send him to Syracuse, because she didn't want to "deal" with my son's condition, which PER HER CREDENTIALS, she specializes in. She didn't give him an eye exam. She didn't give him a new prescription. She didn't even ask the standard "when was the last time he's seen an eye doctor". She just flat refused any kind of treatment. People - I implore you to never, ever take yourself or your loved ones to see this doctor.
Had a wonderful Hydrafacial by Shay at the Cosmetic and Laser Surgery Center. I definitely recommend this service, my skin felt great! I couldn’t believe everything that came out of my skin. The doctors at Center for Sight are all wonderful as well. Great staff and overall environment.
My father and mother both had cataract procedures at the Center for Sight. I was very impressed with the care and attention that they received . Dr. Debra A. Koloms and the staff made them feel very comfortable. This facility is truly the best in the North Country for eye care!
I had an amazing experience with Shay! It was my first time receiving a Hydrafacial, I wasnt skeptical but I did have a lot of questions out of curiosity and Shay explained everything to me in a way us non esthetician’s could understand. Not only was it painless but I HAVE NEVER felt so cleansed after a facial before. Don’t think I’ll be going back to a traditional facial after this. The best part is seeing all the build up gunk that lives on your face. Weeks later and my face still feels great and my makeup applies and removes effortlessly. Can not wait to come back in and make it a part of my self care routine monthly ♥️
Recent events are disturbing. After some 15 years of treatment at WEC, last appointment was obviously overbooked. Owner needs to reevaluate their purpose. I waited for 2 1/2 hours to be attended only to find out that I would not be seen for another 1/2 hour. The attending assistant was very apologetic and understood my perspective. I filed a complaint at the front desk and left. WEC is more interested in numbers than service. Wont go back again.
The whole staff was friendly and welcoming. Scheduling was made very easy and my glasses came in very quickly! Dr. Bourgon was was effective and knowledgeable!
Professional staff and good service
They were really nice and I didn't have to wait long.
Was kicked out because I declined dilation for my healthy kids for glasses. I was never told they need eyes dilated today and needed to take them back to school so I could work. After I was interigated by first doctor about it, exams were done and prescription determined. This doctor was very nice. She sent in another male who never introduced himself but brought in a chart to show me the eye structure and then said he would not give me prescriptions for my kids unless I let them dilate their eyes . Said he wouldn’t bill for today if I wanted to bring them back another day. I already spend near two hours here so I told him I would go somewhere else. He said “fine” and walked out. I will never go here again. Walmart does 60 dollar eye glass exams. Way better use of my time to not have to deal with these people.
Just been to CFS for my cosmetic procedure and it was great, the wonderful Shay looked after me and was a joy to converse with. Shay was very knowledgeable about everything I asked about, but also went that extra mile when I was having my procedure, she was gently soothing me which was so nice and just showed a genuine care for her patients.. 100% recommend
I became a patient of Dr Sanni on Thursday Feb. 28th, 2019.He agreed to see me right away after some concerns from a simple eye exam. As soon as I walked in the building I was greeted by the staff and not a single one was not friendly and helpful. Upon meeting Dr Sanni he was so sweet and genuinely concerned for me and my health. Several exams were administered right there in the office with very little wait in between. Then when those results were in arrangements were made for me to go to a hospital for a spinal tap, lab work and an MRI of my brain. The next morning he had me come back to the office for a few more tests and all of my results all of which were very concerning. He then referred me to a neurologist and I go to them on Monday. Dr Sanni and his staff went above and beyond for me they have all been so supportive, compassionate and caring. With his urgency and getting me into these specialists so quickly he may have just not only saved my vision but saved my life and for that I am forever grateful.
I worked here for a week training to be a technician and Center for Sight claimed to work as a family but at the end of the work week I was hospitalized for 4 days. My husband contacted HR in regards to what happened and told him “ I was in their thoughts and to call when I got home”. When I got home I called 4+ times, texted multiple times and every single response was ignored. They “fired “ me for being hospitalized and didn’t even have the courage to tell me appropriately as a business should. I was so disappointed in how it went down but thank goodness I figured out that they truly weren’t about their employees early on, then later.
When I first came across the website for Center for Sight I was surprised to how many 'big city' elements were offered there. Then, after going to Center for Sight, I realized you don't need to go to Canada or Syracuse to get great service from real professionals. I have already recommended their services to my friends!
I have nothing but great things to say about the MediSpa at Center for sight. I have had botox done twice there and not once have I felt pressure to "do more" than I wanted. Shay is fantastic and listened to my concerns and advised appropriately. I have worked with 2 different Doctors and both were just as comforting and knowledgeable !! Don't sleep on Center for Sight for all your refresher needs ???? You want regret it !!
If your appointment is made for a certain time. You should not have to wait for over an hour to be seen. What’s the point of making an appointment.
I had 3 appointments within 2 qeeks. Staff was friendly. But holy cow the wait time is ridiculous. First appointment we waited 40 minutes past our appointment time and the other two appointments waited 35 past my appointment.
Professional services
I see perfect now thanks to Dr Koloms she performed my lasik and now see 20/20! The staff is amazing and attentive ! My husband has had skin tags removed from his eyelids by her also ! Best Dr wouldn't trust anyone else with my sight!
I am revising my previous post as I now know why I was pushed out as a Dr. Sanni patient. Dr. Sanni performed a procedure on my eye, In hindsight, I was not a favorable candidate, and my eye has been challenged to resolve properly. He decided to administer in-office injections that were intended to help the eye heal more slowly and allow me the benefit of the surgery. However, he failed to review my current drug list for adverse reactions with the drug he was injecting in my eye.. the potential was infection elevating to severe with potential to sepsis and septic shock. Actually could have been fatal in the worst circumstance. My existing drug list was available to CFS as I have been a patient for approx 6 yrs. Dr. Sanni failed to review. BUT, when he became aware of his error, on 9/15, he pushed me off to his PA and refused to examine me, even when I came in to the office on a triage for the surgical eye. The entire staff, PA Hess, Heather, Andrew, the blond tech who never introduced herself, we’re ALL involved and on damage control. Dr. Sanni has refused to answer repeated requests for an explanation of why he handed over a surgical patient, with months of complications, to a PA with NO Ophthalmology background , without the consent of the patient. I forced a visit 2 weeks ago - Dr. Sanni never even acknowledged the conflict or the communications I have sent in attempt to understand and resolve all that has happened. This is all very unfortunate- but the health of my eyes trumps any excuse or explanation Dr. Sanni may offer for the past 3 months of HELL I have experienced not knowing the status or health of my eye and getting only a ‘deer in the headlights look from a PA when questioned. I expect my Dr. to be honest and take responsibility for mistakes made - and offer risk mitigation and solutions to me - not create a plan of deception and cover up. I called the office late this PM to inquire when the appointment with the ‘glaucoma expert’ that was committed to was scheduled for. Is odd - Dr. Sanni had not been able to connect with this ‘expert’. As Dr. Sanni does not work on Friday - his tech, Andrew was forced to handle my call - not fair to Andrew.
My only two experiences were not great... everybody has an off day or maybe even two. The wait times in this place are incredibly long.
I recommend the eye center to anybody for cataract surgery the experience was great, looking forward to second eye being done
After waiting almost 2 weeks for my glasses, I called left message, call was never returned. I drove into city to check status of my glasses and was told they had came in yesterday and lense was made wrong! Asked why I wasn't called and was told it was the insurance companies fault, lol. Passing the buck ! Will never buy glasses there AGAIN !!!!!
This place is awful. Here for a good three hours. Friendly front desk staff and man who took my grandmothers inital vision and medical history. Went in to see Crane and he is not a very hospitable man. Very short and almost snarky with his answers. When telling the lady in the room about some “(word I do not know) incarceration” my grandmother asked what that was. His first answer was “incarceration like locked up” okay... that didn’t answer the question. What is locked up? Maybe you shouldn’t be in heathcare if you’re not a people person. Defiantly not a happy camper after this visit!
Today was my very first time visiting Center for Sight. I was seen for a routine ocular hygiene appoinment in preparation for possibly having lasik. I learned so much about the health of my eye and how to care for my eyes today. I received a treatment called Lipiflow to help unclog my oil glands and relieve my uncomfortable dry eye condition. Emily was my ocular hygienist and she made my appoinment fun. Jennifer and Emily told me every step of the process to make me feel comfortable. Everybody is super nice and personable. Overall great experience and so much to learn about. Refreshing to have a place in town that does more then the basics.
Very caring & professional people
Probably the BEST place to have a medical eye exam or the best place to get your glasses Rx filled. I highly recommend coming to this establishment THANK YOU!!!
Center for sight is removing all unvaccinated patients.... I recommend not dealing with companies that support segregation.
Dr Sanni and his staff at the best. I have nothing but praise for Dr Sanni, Dr Crane and Dr Burke. High rating for Dr Sanni and his Staff that took the time to explain in detail the laser surgery and removal of cataracts in both eyes. The benefits of the laser surgery and multi focal implants instead of the basic. I don't know how many times I called with questions and how many times I drove up to ask a question. At the hospital Dr Sanni was right there . (In fact I thought because I didn't have any glasses on and there were drops and this gel in my eyes that I was talking to a young dr or intern when he said when I come in to the office tomorrow for my post opt remind me of this. I said "oh my Dr is Dr Sanni and my husband and Dr Sanni laughed and both at the same time said I am Dr Sanni". )It was funny at the time. Anyways.very professional, I had a paper with questions and he answered everyone of them. I have been with center for site forever and will continue to go here because of the great service and understanding of the dr and his staff. As far as the waiting room always full. I make my appointment early to avoid long waits which I have only had one in all the time I have been there
Amazing staff, always top notch care and service
I recently had a hydrafacial at Center for Sight Medispa. It was an awesome experience. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for healthier younger looking skin done by friendly professional staff or just some relaxing "me time".
Never noted my recent visit there and postponed my surgery for a eye cyst I’ve had for 3months now. The thanks I get for serving my country.
I strongly recommend NOT going here. They're highly unprofessional and didn't clean the equipment before giving me an eye exam. It was visibly filthy
My daughter and I have been going to Center for Sight for 3 years. My daughter is 7 and has received AMAZING ongoing vision care from Dr. Pecori. I cannot begin to describe how welcome she makes us feel and makes it a mission that my daughter enjoys her appointments. As much as she dislikes having her eyes messed with and drops put in, she stills looks forward to seeing Dr. Pecori to see "what color sparkles she has in the eyes this time". I have received several services that I am incredibly happy with: *I was legally blind when I initially started with Center for Sight. I worked with Debra A. Koloms MD. I received PRK and now see 20/20. She has been such a blessing, not only by performing the surgery so I can see again but also made me feel comfortable during a VERY uncomfortable procedure! *I LOVE ALL of the Medi Spa services!!! Let me tell you, Jennifer Connor, Brittany Hegard and Marlene Palmer are literally the best ladies I've ever met!! So extremely sweet and welcoming on top of absolutely love what they do!!! Everything from the Microdermabrasion to the Botox I recieve is top of the line!!
Caring and efficient.
SERVICE DOG HANDLERS DO NOT GO HERE! They have a pet that wonders the office. Not to mention, they will purposefully send you into a panic attack without much description.
I had an appointment for a hydrofacial with Shay. This was my first time at any type of spa or medispa. I was nervous going and I had no idea what I was in store for. Shay was very professional and kind, during the whole experience. She could tell somethings we’re making me uncomfortable and scared. She reassured me that everything was fine and calmed my nervous down. All in all a great experience and something I look to do again.
My husband had cataract surgery . Dr and staff were great until I needed to call them They don't answer the phone and if I leave a message they will respond days later ???? My daughter had made the original appointment giving her phone number at the time. His appointment for his surgery I requested they change of contact phone number. 3 weeks later I called them and instead of returning my call they hose to respond to my daughter's phone. Informing her that I called. Several times. again had to call them and am awaiting for a return call.
If your looking for a eye doctor in Watertown NY you got the wrong place Center for sight They treat you like it’s a big deal There rude and disgusting people
Courteous staff and excellent customer service. I have been Dr. Koloms patient for years and have complete trust and confidence in her diagnosis and treatment.
Terrible place. We got a call asking us to come in early for my daughter's appointment. When we arrived, the waiting room was packed. We sat down and waited, and waited. After more than an hour we still hadn't been called back yet. I asked the receptionist how much longer it would be, and she said they were backed up and couldn't even give me a timeframe of how much longer we would have to wait. Needless to say, I am extremely annoyed I rushed to get there early like they asked me to, only to wait with a restless toddler. We left without being seen, because my 3 year old couldn't sit still any longer and wait for an indefinite amount of time. I will be finding a different provider.
I don't know if they have a billing center but they kept billing me erroneously and will not return your phone calls.
The Medispa is great! Shay was great at explaining everything she was doing during the Morpheus 8 procedure!!
Had an appointment and after checking in I waited for 45 minutes before the Doctor was ready to see me. I then saw Doc Crane who is a little hard to understand and is a little forgetful as well. I was not impressed. I have a rare eye condition so he ended up referring me to a specialties. Trying to work stuff out with the referral was a pain. I called multiple times trying to get a hold of the nurse or doctor and it took weeks. They even marked it complete in their system with out fixing the issue or calling me. Overall the office is not professional and not a place I would go again.
As a former employee of Center for Sight for the past three years, I felt compelled to inform potential employees, clients and patients of my experience. At The Center for Sight they treat you like FAMILY. The doctor's genuinely care about you and are completely brilliant with years of experience. My coworker's ensure that you feel valued and that your concerns are addressed. The trainings that we received are enriching and pertinent to ensure the very best of care for our clients and patients. I chose to return to the Social Work field because it was time to continue my journey. But, I will forever treasure the friendship's I have made with the Doctors, employees and our clients. Center for Sight will continue to be the place that I Trust with my family's eye care health.
Waited well over 2 hours to be soon and the doctor was a jerk about everything like I was such a burdon to him to have to treat. Swore at me and rushed the process. The receptionist ignored me upon entry while looking at a paper of something. They seem to not care at all were just a dollar sign to them. Would not recommend and not going to be returning anytime soon
I do not suggest going to this office. I have had an issue with my eyes for almost a year now (in August) I've seen several doctors and was eventually told I needed to see a cornea specialist. One of the treatments was to do an allergy test to see if that was causing the issue. I came in for the allergy test and was sent home because I was taking certain medications 5 days prior to the appointment. NO ONE told me I couldn't take any of the medications I was taken. One specific medication I take is Zoloft for anxiety/OCD. She told me I HAD to stop taking it because it has an anti-histamine in it and it could alter the results. Perhaps I should have done my research but this is not a medication you stop cold turkey. The withdrawal side effects and the aftermath of stopping this medication cold turkey has caused many issues. Almost to the point I was advised to go to the ER if it went passed a certain point. Also, multiple times I have come ready for my appointments and get sent home. First, when I initially made my appointment I told them what it was for and then when I came in they said I was there was a stye and that's what my authorization was for - again I SPECIFICALLY told the no. A lot of miscommunication seems to happen at this office. When I asked about the Zoloft I specifically told her it was for anxiety/OCD and was told I had to stop taking it as well. There couldn't have been any confusion of different medicines. I absolutely will not be returning to this office and instead live with current eye issues until I return to Texas and can be seen in a doctors office who's employees actually care and aren't rude. Dr. Sanni is very nice and seems knowledgable but the establishment as a whole needs to change ASAP.
I recently went here to get my eye’s cleaned and had a blephex treatment, it helped a lot! if i could i would do 10 stars. The doctors and staff are great
Waiting room is very packed and waiting time is long. Receptionist are very busy and unable to give an approximate time frame. One receptionist is very rude and makes you feel uneasy. Another receptionist is not trained to give insurance information or when replacement eye glasses are able to be ordered. Claims you have to come in and wait to he seen with no appointment time. Yet, when you ask to he transferred to the person responsible for the ordering of glasses, they cannot transfer you. Dr. Sanni is very quick to come in room but does her exam and leaves without warning. No real explanation as to any progress or regression in eye disorder of my child. My child has been wearing glasses since she was 11 months old. She is also very shy. When Dr. Sanni asks her to tell what's on the chart... she gets nervous and won't answer. Makes one attempt and ends the exam. Leaves room and says follow up in 6 months. No attempts to make my child comfortable or coax her I to saying what the eye chart pictures are. Very unprofessional place. They accept all insurances is why the place is always packed. Not because they have quality care.
I love the entire staff at Center for Sight . Dr Sanni amazing as well as Dr Combs. They are so friendly and professional. Making appointments is easy especially for check ups. My husband went in for the no charge examination to see if he was a candidate for upgrading glasses or Lasik. Aimee Pecori was fantastic! No upsell. Also, my grandmother was a long time patient always seeing Dr Sanni til she passed at 98 years old,. He had so much patience for her. With her age her hearing was almost gone , he was so kind. I highly recommend Center for Sight .
I called about an eye appointment this afternoon. Because I was on Medicare, they referred me to the CP Clinic and gave me a phone number. It was the Cerebal Palsey Clinic. I have no idea what this has to do with needing an eye appointment. They didn't tell me their charges or ask if I could pay out of pocket. 3/6/2018. I feel I should update my above comments. After I posted the above, I was contacted by a nice lady from their office. She apologized and explained to me that apparently there was a mix up over my insurance. They thought I had medicaid and the Watertown office does not take Medicaid and that is why they referred me to the CP clinic. Since then, I got an appointment with Dr. Crane. I got into my appointment on time. He discovered that I had need of some minor eye surgery which he will do tomorrow and the next Wednesday.
I called to make an appointment for a simple eye exam for glasses and contacts. I received a phone call a few days later letting me know that my insurance would not cover the cost of the exam, apparently they would only cover medically necessary procedures. I was informed the cost of the exam should be around $90 and another $30 I believe for contacts. I was fine paying $120-130 for an exam. I went to my appointment. It was like any other eye exam I have had in my life. My eyes were never dilated, which I've had done before and expected it this time. It was just a standard exam. A "free lasik" exam was offered. I declined. I went to check out and there is a bit of confusion, but ultimately I paid $95. I'm fine with that, I leave and don't give it a second thought. I just received a bill for that appointment for an ADDITIONAL $190. $285 for an EYE EXAM?? I would have NEVER gone to my appointment had I known this is what they were going to charge me. I cannot get any straight answers. I will not be returning. Avoid this place at all costs.
I had Lasik Eye Surgery here and I could not be happier. I used to wear an old pair of glasses to bed every night because I could not stand not being able to see when I woke up. The freedom of not wearing glasses is such a blessing. I would recommend anyone that qualifies for this surgery to do it. they are very professional and guide you through the process with ease. I was terrified to have the surgery, but the team at Center For Sight talked me through the surgery and when I sat up, I instantly could see perfectly. Best thing I ever did.
Center for Sight is an awesome place. The staff is friendly and very professional. The Doctor's are the best in the business. The media spa also offers many services like Botox, Facial Fillers, Laser Hair Removal and so much more.
Great service!!!!!
I received a hydrafacial from Shay and the experience was AMAZING. So professional, clean and sterile and my skin has never felt better. I love the atmosphere and the staff! Everyone was so welcoming. 10/10 recommend.
Excellent customer experience and care, took us in quickly and took their time explaining everything to me and my wife for surgery. All our questions were answered and glad we picked this office.
I have nothing but praise for Dr Sanni and all the staff at Center For Sight. I was referred here by a friend who is a physician as I was unhappy with my choice of another Ophthalmologist. Dr Sanni addressed my fears, answered all my questions and continues to be very knowledgeable and professional. I would not go to another eye specialist for my eyes. I have never had to wait an exceptionally long time for any appointment. This waiting to be seen would never be a problem for me as Dr Sanni's level of practice is excellent. He appears to never be rushed and has all the time in the world to address any of my concerns. All employees have been more than gracious with me.
Unbelievably rude - especially Deanna. Condescending on the phone and I won't be calling again.
I was seen in the Watertown office as an emergency patient by Dr. Crane. I called at 4:30 on a Friday evening. To my surprise they told me to come right over. I am thankful that they saw me that quickly as I was told I had an infection in my left eye that could have gotten much worse if not treated. Dr. Crane took the time to sit with me on a Friday evening which I was very thankful for. I will definitely be going back and seeing Dr. Crane for my future appointments and know that he will take the time to spend with me in the room and answer any questions I have.
Shay was wonderful, I had my first lip filler done and virtually pain free and instant results. Thank you Shay I will definitely be back and highly recommend. Entire staff is amazing
Very professional staff, came for my appt and they got me right into the doctor. Jennifer went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I was in a lot of pain and couldn’t see and she made sure they fixed everything for them plus scheduled me for a procedure. Had my eye exam and had new glasses within a few days of service. Highly recommended Thank you everyone mostly Jennifer for taking such good care of me.
I have had four appointments canceled by this place since November-the first three times they canceled the day before the appointment!!!!! This fourth time they at least called a week before. The reason is always the same-“the dr won’t be in that day” so either your dr has better things to do or your schedule team needs to do it’s job better but I’m on the hunt for a new facility and won’t be back ????????
I couldn't even make an appointment. I am dutiful to check schooling, credentials and input from others. Could not get past Dr. Debra Koloms graduating college as Dr. Bradley Koloms. I do have to be thankful for the web site showing where all went to medical school.
I have been going to the Center for Sight and the Medispa for years. I always feel taken care of and special...????????????????????
They are very inconsiderate. Moved offices and never called to tell me. Did the same with my mother. Then kept sending my father wrong information about surgery and fallow up appointments. Tried many times to call very hard to get ahold of and continued to get different answers. I am now looking for a new place and will never go back. I hate to leave a bad review but am very upset for how I was treated and my family.
This place is amazing!! The experienced Dr. Sanni and his staff are always friendly and professional, making me feel at ease from the time I enter to the time I leave. Over the years of being a patient, Jennifer always has a warm welcoming smile and goes out of her way to accommodate my needs and makes sure I am comfortable. It is apparent that she takes pride in making her clients feel like family. They offer so many services from Lasik, laser treatments, microdermabrasion to Botox and fillers-just to name a few! I look forward to my visits here and always leave with a smile!
If I could I would give this place no stars maybe even neg stars.. EDIT... 9/13/2017 I got a call from the office manager asking to retract my review because she kept her promise.. I want to say that yes she did keep her promise called and got my son an appt in Syracuse for this Thursday in the morning (I already had an appt for just after Christmas) so she did get him in sooner and thankful for that.. The place was nice and clean the ladies at the front check-in & check-out was nice and the lady that took my son back and asked the questions was great. My problem was 100% with the doctor... but I will not lie on a review because they got me an appt 3 weeks early. If we were treated better by the doctor I would have given them more then 1 star. But because the office manager kept her side I will give 2 star. Woyld od gave more if she did not ask for me to retrack my review i planed on updating after i got a call back.. --------------- First thing out of the doctors mouth as she opened the door was. Why did they send you here when I am just going to send him some place else to be looked at. My son and I have chairi malformation and his neurosurgeon and his normal doctor noticed his eyes dont focus she looked at him to follow her finger and he started to look away and she said look at me.. she then looked at me and said I don't see what they see.. Then was told we really need to be stable and find a consistent doctor.. trust me we as a military family would love to be stable for once in 15 years.. I will make sure everyone knows what they did to my son.. he was not even in the room with the doc for 5 mins and they will be charging my inc $$$... uggg never will be seen there ever again and will tell friends..
I have tried for two weeks to make an appointment with the recommendation from a friend. I am now going to look elsewhere. I need to have an eye appointment before I can move on with treatment for other medical issues I have been having. This is holding up the process of my feeling better. They never call you back. Sadly my friend sad you are amazing. Unfortunately I do not have time to wait for your receptionist to call me back. Maybe you should consider training for your front desk. They need to know and understand the importance of time management and patient care.
I have been truly blessed to have the Doctor's at Center for sight in my life. I was blinded in my right eye at the young age of 13. After my local eye doctor retired i was forced to find new doctors. For the past 25 plus years i have been a patient at Watertown Eye Center. I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH about this group. They have always been there for me. The best doctors and the BEST staff around. I am truly blessed to know that if i ever have a problem they are there!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND WATERTOWN CENTER FOR SIGHT!!!!
Excellent service ????
very pushy for glasses. they said my daughter needed them before I even saw the Dr. and he right is 20/40. The dr couldn't answer any of mu questions at all. My husband felt pushed to get glasses at well, he wanted to take his script somewhere else and it was a fight for him, when her got it is was way off. I didn't feel we got a fair evaluation because they were so pushy for glasses. I wont go here again. Im not one to write bad reviews but truely this place is nice looking with not so great of service. the optical department was very nice. the receptionist are great. its really just the Drs. its very nice looking and big. they did have a good selection on glasses.
Have tried making an appointment twice. The first one I was told my appointment was at a different time so I ended up being 30 min late and they were too busy to still see me so I had to reschedule. Then they didn't save my rescheduled appointment and I drove out for nothing. They can't keep their appointments right, they're not flexible at all, and I'm not going back because I'm not going out there for no reason again.
I would like to find out about Lasik surgery, but I have called 7 times now over the past 2 weeks and get a voicemail that is full ;-(
Got the hydro facial done today and I am very happy with the results. Black heads came out of my nose and my face is so smooth and glowing. Shay took care of me and she was very professional and explained each process. Highly recommend this place if anyone wants to get a better looking skin. I feel like my face is healthy looking now and my wife is satisfied with the outcome.
I have always had a positive experience at Center for Sight. My daughter has Strabismus (a lazy eye) and has to go frequently for eye checks. The entire staff is caring and get us right in. They always accommodate my busy schedule and are flexible about getting us appointments. I have every confidence in the care they provide.
Initially received an appointment at the Center for Sight through a referral from Urgent Care after my right eye lost focus, vision and colors went dark. Dr. Crane worked with me for two days and found my diagnosis of Optic Neuritis and got me the treatment I need to see (important, as I work at a newspaper). I've had several follow up visits since and everyone at the Center for Sight are professional and caring. They make sure you get appointment reminders two days prior and make the check in and out process seamless. I have had a couple appointments with long waits, but that is to be expected at any medical facility as popular as this. Excellent experiences and Dr. Crane is the best.
The Medical Spa is like your home away from home. Everyone here makes you feel welcome and at ease. I have had a few different procedures done, from micro derms, tattoo removal and more invasive procedures. Not once was I nervous, I knew I was in the right hands. Anytime I have had questions or concerns, either the staff or the doctors were right there to answers them. I highly recommend the Medi Spa, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Keep up the good work ladies.
The office environment and most of the staff are great. I have had almost 10 appointments in the last 6 months testing and diagnosing an eye issue. Dr. Crane finally made a thoroughly thought out decision to do surgery after several of these two hour - major testing appointments. I called after a month after this last decision making appointment to see if there were any updates on the surgery. They called me in to set up a "consult" with Dr. Koloms. She approached abruptly and was shaking her head at the few notes her assistant had taken. She asked if I had had a prism test and I said "Yes, several." She would have known this if she had even glanced at my paperwork. Dr. Koloms then told me that "I didn't want surgery, it's not fun for an adult...it might not even work." Correct, Dr. Koloms, I do not WANT surgery. I was told I needed it. YES I absolutely want this problem to be fixed in the most appropriate way - but didn't Dr.Crane already decide this? She did one simple prism test and said that she wanted me to come back next week for testing and again in 4 weeks. Why the wait? No explanation. In fact, there was no explanation for anything. I sensed some major animosity between her and Dr.Crane who has done so much work with me. In any environment, this is unprofessional. I told her my biggest concern was driving and that I was about to be alone...I'm cut off by "Yeah, well." I will not be revisiting this Dr. Koloms and absolutely will advise against anyone seeing her. This process has been emotionally draining and her 5 minute appointment completely flipped any hope I had of my eye issue being fixed. I am not one to constantly complain on reviews, in fact I often write deserving positive reviews. As a patient I expect to be taken seriously. As someone who has spent hundreds of dollars on appointments that she is claiming were pointless, I am extremely disappointed in the lack of collaboration and communication within the practice.
Wonderful service! Everyone is so nice and friendly. The staff makes sure you are taken care of. I highly recommend!
Great employees and great service. Went in for a Hydrafacial and they took me right in. Everything was clean and the environment was amazing. I woke up this morning and my face looked and felt amazing. I will definitely be going back for another. Thank you so much Shay!
Both my husband and I had lasik surgery in 2014 at Watertown Center for Sight and had amazing results! The staff were friendly and attentive through the whole process. It was a very quick and easy procedure for us both and we are very happy we decided to do it! Recently, I had a concern with my eye after a scratch and the staff were able to assist me as a walk-in and provide guidance within 40 minutes of arriving. I would highly recommend!
Every single time I visited this office the wait for my appointment was at least an hour, on one occasion it was closer to a 90 minute wait. I’m no longer a patient but I’ve been trying to get copies of my records and it’s been impossible. I even asked before I moved if I could hand carry my records and was told it would be super easy to transfer them from a distance. Avoid this place like the plague.
Called to make an appointment, the girl I talked to told me that I could come in so we scheduled my appointment about a month out. When I got there, they told me my Medicaid wouldn’t cover the eye exam. I’m not sure why I got two different stories but I don’t suggest anyone goes there. It wasted my time and now I have to wait longer for an exam at a different place
Refused to treat my wife (refused to schedule a follow up) due to her vaccination status. Multiple individuals said “the big man” makes that decision, I wasn’t aware that medical practitioners could refuse to treat patients based on their vaccination status…
The entire team is so friendly and courteous, I must say that I was a little bit caught off guard by that at first... the level of attention to the clients’ comfort is exceptional while still providing top notch services is sadly not seen everywhere these days. But, customer service, hospitality, warmth and caring people are a staple throughout the Watertown Center for Sight and Medispa, and I am happy to recommend their facility and good people. When faced with a necessary eye procedure, I must say that I was nervous- at first. With her thorough knowledge of the procedure, professional style and confidence in the proficiency of her team, Jen in the Medispa put my nerves at ease... and she was 100% accurate about the procedure. Thanks to her, I knew what to expect from the beginning and the procedure was done quickly and with no surprises. My thanks to all who work at the Watertown Center for Sight. Dr Sanni, you and your team have (pardon the pun) “opened my eyes” to what eye care should be like and I assure you that you have earned another customer for life!
I called and tried to get an appointment here. I was told they are only seeing vaccinated people. When I asked why, she just kept saying it is their policy. Then she finally said it is to keep patients and staff safe..to which I gave her the facts: vaxxed can still get and transmit covid so this is discrimination. She said no it is not and hung up on me. I hope noone will support this place that is pushing this policy. This is a scary, tyrrannical direction they are taking!
I call to make an appointment or to see if my contacts have come in and no one answers the phone and I never receive a call back after I leave a message. Called the other day regarding my contacts and was told only one person was working so they couldn't tell me and then hung up on me. I was also told that my contacts would be in on Friday, two weeks later and still no contacts. Finally sick of not getting an answer I went there. They said they would be in yesterday and they would call. After a wasted trip to Watertown I never received a phone call. Lady tells me "we always call" I have never got a phone call back in the two years I have gone there. Definitely switching eye glass companies after I figure what the heck is going on. Very disappointed and angry!!
I had PRK laser corrective eye surgery. I was not a good candidate for Lasik, so this was it if I wanted to be rid of glasses & contacts! I have heard all the stories people would tell, but I'm here to tell you it's WORTH IT!! Yes recovery takes a tad longer, but IT'S WORTH IT! Not everyone will have the same experience as we are after all unique from each other, but I'm telling you I'd do it all over again because IT'S WORTH IT! I wish I could give more stars! Thank you for everything Center for Sight! ????
The doctors are great but their process for prescriptions is the worst I’ve ever dealt with. We’ve been waiting a week for a simple refill prescription and none in sight. To make it worse no information or call back from the technician responsible for prescriptions
Wow. First time to the office in Watertown and EVERYONE was so pleasant and kind! Everyone made me feel comfortable - I had to have some really different tests that I’ve never had done before and they made me feel perfectly comfortable. But honestly, I would come here just to look at those amazing and beautiful lights hanging in the waiting room. Holy cow, I want to come here just to look at them. They are beautiful!! I highly recommend this place. Professional and amazing staff!!!
Worst experience ever! This place is awful. The employees are rude, the wait is at least an hour long, most of the time longer. And if that weren't bad enough they have a dog that has free range to the whole waiting area, its unbelievably unprofessional
Was diagnosed with a detached retina after a 20 min. wait and a 50 min. wait in two separate exam rooms. I was sent to Syracuse for emergency surgery at 11:30 am for a 2:30 surgery. I was told not to eat and was re-dilated. When we got to the address on the order for the Retina Vitrous center(my wife left work to take me)...we were on E. Genessee Street at a plastic surgery center. We were sent to Liverpool and told that the office moved years ago. Got to Liverpool 4 minutes early and was told they were waiting for me at the Retina Vitreous office in Watertown. Fortunately they took me in for consultation in Syracuse and scheduled surgery for two days later. The only positive was that they did diagnose me correctly in Watertown. The rest of the experience was a nightmare.
I just called to make my yearly appointment and was asked what I needed to be seen for and I said I'm on Plaquenil and I need to check my prescription. I've been going here for probably 25 years and have been on Plaquenil the whole time and if one glasses the whole time and have never had to have two appointments. She told me that I would need to make two appointments one with dr. Sahni for the Plaquenil issue and one with dr. Burke for the glasses! I asked her I've been going there for 20 years and have never had to make two appointments I've always seen dr. Burke. I said well will my insurance cover both appointments. And she said I don't know. I said well nevermind then I don't know why I've never had to do it before and all these years. And she said okay goodbye. Nothing like losing a regular customer of 25 years! I believe her name was Chiquita. It's too bad because I really like dr. Burke my daughter has been going there since she was a toddler and she just turned 29 today it's too bad
Called and made appointment 2 months in advance and when arrived they said they couldn't find the appointment we would have to wait until doctor came in. They are extremely rude at check in. I would give them negative stars if possible. Terrible place never go there
My wife has had many interactions with Center For Sight, specifically Dr. Sanni. She has always been very pleased with his professionalism, personality and most importantly the results of her procedures. She stated that she felt like she was treated like "one of the family" and will not hesitate to return to his practice. Dr. Sanni was always willing to take the time to thoroughly explain the procedure and soothe her fears about the operation. Wait times were never an issue. She would highly recommend Dr. Sanni and his practice for all your eye care needs.
Make sure you get a second opinion somewhere else before you go through with some of the treatments and tests they want you to have. The costs are outrageous and was told by two other doctors they were not necessary. I think they are trying to pick our pockets.
Took family member there and was crazy. Waited forever to be seen then Dr. Sanni spent less than 2 minutes with her. He seemed more in a hurry to leave the room than he was at helping the patient. Wouldn't go back.
Had an eye appointment today and am very impressed with their service and efficiency. Kendralee and Alicia were absolutely wonderful and extremely helpful and accommodating. I actually enjoyed my visit!
Expect to wait all day if u go to this place and be sent away with another appointment if they see they can’t see u even thou u have an appointment
I was very pleased with the surgery and the technique. Dr. Sanni and staff were amazing. I would recommend Dr. Sanni to anyone and all of my colleagues. I felt little to no pain, I had both eyes done and I could not be happier. I am very pleased with everything. I highly recommend Dr. Sanni at Center For Sight
I worked with Kendralee for PRK surgery and she was the greatest. From start to finish the whole process was simple, clear, and virtually painless. I never had an issue getting an appointment and I was even able to be seen on a walk-in basis sometimes. All of the physicians are great and explain everything clearly. It has been approximately 8 months since I got my PRK surgery and my vision is 20/20 and i have no complaints. Compared to other eye centers in the area I highly recommend Center For Sight.
If I could give Zero stars I would...poorest service ever.....!!! DONT RETURN CALLS....ANDTHE WAITING IS Terrible
U have an appointment at 1-45 but u don't get seen still siting here at 3 what is the point of having an appointment?
I’d been struggling with dry eyes for years until my wife finally forced me to make an appointment. Huge shoutout to Brittany over there, she really knows her stuff! In and out quickly with their expert staff helping every step of the way. Would definitely recommend to everyone having eye troubles!
Toward the end of my day my eyes were swolllen shut. I had no idea what was wrong. The ER couldn't figure out what was wrong. The Center for Sight git ne in that day to see Dr Koloms. She ealkdd in the room and immediately assured me everything was okay, calmed me down and said she'd take good care of me. Within a few minutes of asking me questions and a look at my eyes she determined i was having an allergic reaction to a mascara. A few drops of medicine later, the swelling was going down. She was amazing!!! Wonderful personality and so very thorough!!!
I've been a long-time patient of Center for Sight, Watertown, and Dr. Sanni. My initial visit with them was to CORRECT a diagnosis that another Dr. In Watertown made...the other Dr. said that I had Dry Eye Syndrome. For two years, my right eye watered and leaked..I filled numerous prescriptions for different meds..but, they made it worse. I made an appointment for Center for sight when my eye began to swell. At my appointment at Center for sight, they determined that I had a clogged tear duct! They treated it, and within hours, I was tear-free and pain free! The "topping on the cake" for me came in 2014. I went into Center for Sight for a regular appointment, thinking I needed new glasses..I was getting many headaches. Dr. Sanni checked me thoroughly, and then, again, checked my Optic nerve..it was swollen! He sent me for an MRI immediately, and found a cyst on my brain stem! He SAVED my life..at least in my eyes, he did! He referred me to a neuro surgeon. I ended up having surgery on my skull to make room for the cyst. The neuro surgeon said that I was a ticking time bomb..anything could have jostled my cyst to move further onto my spine. Dr. Sanni and Dr. Crane are the best! They always have time to speak with you about a problem or concern, and are truly professional in their field! I wouldn't go ANYWHERE else for eye care! They know their stuff!! I'm a lifelong customer and a grateful fan
This place is an absolute joke and commits insurance fraud on a daily basis. The billing manager is incompetent and Tracie the blonde office manager is the most snottiest/rude person I have ever met. I would not even give this place a -star but it requires it.
excellent service. virtually zero wait time, very caring and knowledgeable staff.
I NEED AN EYE DOCTOR NOT BOTOX OR FACIALS! 2 DIFFERENT EYE CENTERS IN SAME BUILDING , SAME PHONE NUMBER, SAME DOCTORS! 2 DIFFERENT REVIEW SITES WATERTOWN EYE CENTER HAS 2.9 RATING AND TERRIBLE REVIEWS. CENTER FOR SIGHT HAS 3.8 RATING. READING THEIR REVIEWS WAS RIDICULOUS. I WENT TO WEC YEARS AGO AND REMEMBER WAITING FOR HOURS IN CROWDED WAITING AREAS. TREATED BADLY BY RUDE DOCTORS AND EMPLOYEES AS IF ONLY THEIR TIME AND AGENDA MATTERED! I GUESS SOMETHINGS NEVER CHANGE ! SAVE YOU'RE TIME, MONEY AND SANITY AND FIND AN EYE DR. WHO CARES MORE ABOUT YOU THAN THE SIZE OF THEIR BANK ACC.
My glasses broke this weekend and at this point I just want my Rx info so I can just buy new ones online but I can’t even get them to give me that info. I’ve called at least 20 times and left multiple messages. When I do finally get through to the front desk they transfer me and all I get is a voicemail and no calls back. It shouldn’t be so hard to call someone back who is desperate to just be able to see properly again. I’m disgusted with their lack of care. Literally all I need is my Rx info and they can’t even do that.
It was my first time being seen here was very happy with coming in on a triage due to a eye infection. Staff were friendly professional and caring. Explained everything they were going to do before doing it very happy with my experience will definitely use them again. S. Davod Imdad S. Davod Imdad
