I'm an Ophthalmic Assistant and I am looking for a glaucoma specialist in my sister n laws home town and was look at Dr. Amber's reviews...This will hopefully help ppl realize her one review from Chocolate isnt accurate...doctors do not do injections for glaucoma and if your mother is 93 then her vision has everything to do with her age...nothing that Dr. Amber did or didnt do. Wet Mac Deg is an awful disease but if a patient doesn't have annual exams starting at an early age then the vision can decrease very rapidly.

Dr. Sheikh is one of those rare doctors who takes the time to explain your condition and the effects of her recommended treatment. It's obvious that she really cares about her patients. Her staff are polite and friendly. Overall--great medicine, great experience.

I was not impressed with this opthamologist. My 93 year legally blind mother decided to see her as her previous opthamologist felt that there was not much more he could do. I expressed my concern both to the staff and to the Dr that my Mom is living on her own, cooking in the basement on a gas stove and that both her hearing and eyesight were declining. I was hoping that Dr Sheikh would address these safety concerns with my Mom, but instead, said nothing and set up appointments for futher injections for her glaucoma. Where is her responsibilty towards the safety of her patients. Is this just a cash cow for her? If my mother is involved in any sort of mishap due to her poor vision I will hold Dr Sheikh personally responsible for this.

Im calling. This office for 2 days cant get them i need my prescription from the doctor this is terrible it is the second time this is happening not fair i will go elsewhere but i will report them

I've left two voice messages in an attempt to have my vision tested. It's been a month & still nobody has returned my calls. My vision has deteriorated & I need help with my vision. It's absolutely disgusting that a so-called "doctor" ignores her Hippocratic oath to help patients, especially during a global pandemic. More like hypocritical oath. Now I have to find another health care provider to examine my eyes, because I can't trust any "doctor", who couldn't care less about his/her patients.
