TERRIBLE PLACE. I stopped going here a long time ago because the staff and doctors at this place (not all of them but some of them) are extremely rude and disrespectful. There was one time where I had rude, unecessary comments thrown in my face at the reception by one of the doctors for absolutely no reason. I won't mention names. When I was younger I went to one of the doctors all the time and every time I went it was just horrible. He would talk condescendingly to me every time I was there to get my eyes checked. I know other people who have gone to this place and left as well because of similar reasons. I don't usually write reviews but this place was awful and I want to put it out there for anyone intending on going here or for anyone who has had a similar experience. I would give this place no stars but it won't allow me to do that.

Extremely negative impression, but not at the time of arrival, when i went to see a doctor, he was welcoming me nicely, soon after he started "ifffff" sound and making gestures as he is upset with me, he then told me how inconsistent I am but with a lot of anxiety, he was so mad when i was unable to give the feedback of "better or worse" during lens changing as a normal test for glasses prescription, I told him my vision is blurry , i literally felt treated worse then an unwanted ill pet, he was making me feeling sorry for being ill, and I have to keep my mouth shut to have his interest to keep examine my eye, his comments were i have dark grey spots but he does not know why, I felt the time there was passing so slow, while being intimidated that way, i burst into tears soon after my friend picked me , Although men hardly cry, but it was a lot to take in during a doctor visit, I noticed that it is all about a prescription for new glasses and to get the glasses from this clinic, he almost have a glasses mini store in his clinic it was not my problem to change the glasses as much i needed to know about the grey areas, my plan was to recover, his plan was sales , well no one has to live that experience i feel sorry for all the patients who had a hard time with a doctor, and never bothered to write about it

Flips the pictures 90 times and tells people how inconsistent they are with their better or worse answers. After my yearly eye exam, the doctor felt that my last prescription was a little too strong in one eye and gave me an updated prescription. Dr. Berman is correct. I adjusted almost immediately to the new prescription and haven’t had any complaints!! His office staff is professional, pleasant and prompt! I highly recommend this business. Very nice eye care facility. Best place I have been to get glasses. The optometrist actually used eye drops to dilate my eyes, - which I have never had before. The optican waited on the phone with my insurance company for ten to twenty minutes; he also fixed my old busted up glasses; he put in a new screw in and fixed the nose pads I had that were warped. (Plus the location is walking distance for me.)

Despite the Covid restrictions, a very pleasant experience. The 3D eye scan was easy and the results were very interesting.

I had an appointment booked for an eye exam at 1130am and subsequently I booked an ultrasound appointment for 1pm knowing I would have ample time once my eye appointment was over. I arrived at the office at 11:15am but did not see the Dr. Berman until 12pm, after a short exam he dilated my pupils and another 30mims I had to wait while he took another patient. As I sat outside his door I could hear him chatting away with the patient (unrelated to eye exams). Prior to this I mentioned to the clerk I had made another appointment for 1pm thinking I’d be long finished at Rexdale Eye Care, she assured me I would get to my appointment on time. 1250pm I am still waiting on Dr. Berman and the clerk passes right by me and leaves. No courtesy to say he will see you shortly or I’ve let him know you are waiting. Eventually I had to call and reschedule my ultrasound. Very disappointing spending two hours for an appointment which normally takes less than 30 mins! And then charged with a bill close to $200!

Been going to Dr. Berman since I was a young child (roughly 15 years now). He's incredibly friendly and so professional. Easily one of the absolute best Optometrists in Toronto. I recently recommended him to my girlfriend, who had an unpleasant visit with her own eye doctor. She visited Dr. Berman for a second opinion because she felt her eye doctor prescribed her incorrectly. Dr. Berman performed an extensive eye exam and discovered that the previous eye doctor had indeed given my girlfriend the wrong prescription, so much so that it was causing her eyes to 'fight' each other for balance, in order to focus properly. Her left eye was prescribed far too high, and her right eye was prescribed much too low. Dr. Berman gave her the correct prescription and sent us on our way. Always a pleasant experience!

Best medical experience I ever had. The staff are all verry attentive (also funny) and Dr. Snow was incredibly patient. He showed me exactly what I needed for my eyes in 3D images (of my own eyes) that I have never seen before. After he finished with me, I felt that I was given best and most accurate information to decide what was best for me. They have the most incredible state of the art equipment that I have ever seen before and people that know what they are doing. Don’t waist your time in some of these malls or big box stores, they don’t have the experience or equipment to take care of your eyes. They go far and beyond in cleanliness and covid protection proto call. I need to have a cataract removed and then I will be going back to purchase my glasses from there. I have purchased glasses from them in the past and can tell you there is a difference in the quality of the glass and service. We only get one set of eyes, go to the pros Rexdale Eye Care. horrible place, price gouging! do not go unless your life depends on it! even then its better to go and wait in hospital than this pathetic place. Where do i get started, I called to ask how much they charge for eye exam, their response is $170 I asked what do they do for that amount, she stated if i cant afford it to look elsewhere!! thank you for suggestion, I did and found out that this places over charges, average eye exam is roughly 50-100 depending on what needs to be done. So thank you for making me look elsewhere, i am glad I did. Also will be telling anyone and everyone not to go to this unprofessional place. By the way money was not the issue it was secretary's remark that totally turned me on from ever stepping foot into that office.
