From the time I walked in their service was A+++ Friendly and courteous front desk. Dr. Lakhani was very professional. Very relaxing atmosphere. She explained all of the procedures and made me feel comfortable although it had been years since I went to see an optometrist. Her front staff helped me choose the proper frame and gave me her honest opinions on the options I chose. I was recommended by my old optometrist who had retired and I am glad he did. I called Humber Bay Eye Care as soon as they opened this morning as I had scratched my cornea overnight. As soon as I mentioned that over the phone, they asked me to come in right away and saw me within 5 minutes. Chrissy at the front desk was extremely courteous, friendly, and professional. The Optometrist is brilliant and the staff will never be pushy over buying products from them only unlike other Optic shops. Which makes sense since we opt in for Optometrist check up and not for entering into marketing funnel. I have no plan to change my Optometrist in the near future

I can’t say enough about Dr. Lakhani and her team. I am 63 and have been to many optometrist over my life time. She is the best, professional, kind and so knowledgeable. She saw me immediately when I was having pain after surgery. She took care of the pain and reassured me which reduced my stress significantly. I will always recommend her to my friends and family.

Excellent optometrist. She really takes her time with me and is very thorough. I was having issues with my contacts - close vision I am near sighted - and she fitted me with a much better solutuon. Also the price she charges for contact lenses is very comparable to online pricing so I happily buy them here. The other staff are also extremely friendly and helpful. I always leave Humber Bay Eye Care happy knowing that I got a really good eye exam and a great deal on glasses and contact lenses.

Went today for the first time , had my eyes examined and i am a happy customer! Excellent customer service from setting up the appointment over the phone to getting to the office and be welcomed The friendly staff helped me to pick up my new glasses Dr Shala Lakhani was very professional and friendly. Explained all the procedures done in my examination , while using some cool eye doctor gadgets. I totally recommend this clinic. I will be going back for sure!

It is a pleasure to have this opportunity to provide feedback. From the time of booking our appointments to picking up our glasses we had a great experience. Dr. Shala Lakhani noticed I was perspiring (menopausal) when I was being tested, so she had turned down the room temperature by the time I had my eyes checked again after my eye drops. She offered me kleenex to dab my face and bottled water. Jamila El Maskhot and Chrissy Wilker both helped me pick out my glasses. It was like a competition who could pick out the glasses that would look best on me. We had fun. Then Dr. Lakhani and my husband came out for the final consensus. Jamila & Chrissy did the same for my husband. Thank you for such a wonderful experience! We would definitely recommend Humber Bay Eye Care to everyone!

Went for an exam first time. Exam was fine went as expected. Price for the exam was good loved the student discount. However was disappointed to come home to find my 2nd pair of glasses damaged after the receptionist fixed a lose screw on the frame. 1. She put in a screw that is way to big for the frame and She either must have tightened it to much as it cracked the eye glass or scratched the glass when putting in a new screw... shame. They also no longer fit right in my face. Very disappointed. Will not be going back sadly.

I've gone to my fair share of Optical/Eye Care retailers in my life so I have a good idea of what services I should expect and when I know I'm provided with great service and expertise. Dr. Shala Lakhani is the Optometrist at Humber Bay Eye Care and she is excellent. She does a thorough check of your eyes and more importantly, she listens to what your preferences are and your lifestyle to help you choose the right customized solution for your eye glasses or contacts. Every time I go there I am always seen on time or even ahead of time which is so appreciated. Their Customer Staff are amazing! So friendly as soon as you walk in and they always have a smile on their faces. With respect to their products, they have the latest in new contacts and a very good selection of high end brand glasses for both men and women. For me, what was important was quality lenses, service and follow-up service if I had any issues. Glasses are not just for function. They are great at really helping you choose frames that suit your personality, face shape and your style. What I appreciated is that they will be frank on feedback and they want to make sure you are happy because glasses are an investment. You are not going to get the cheapest prices here. If you want 2 for 1 etc. then best go to big box shops. For me, if my frames were not fitting right I could always just pop in and they would help for adjustments. I would say they are like the Apple Store for Eye Glasses and Eye Health Care by providing top notch expert advice, amazing service and top quality products.

Dr. Lakhani was knowledgable and passionate however she focused so much on selling me products that it stopped feeling like an optometrist appointment and more like a shopping trip. One of the first things we discussed was what she suggested for me to buy there... before she even gave me my prescription. Very eagar to sell and that turned me off entirely from buying there let alone going back.

I am so pleased with this Doctor and her staff! Each time that I call or go in for an appointment, they are all so professional and friendly! I was very concerned about an eye condition, that I had developed, during Co-Vid 19. Doctor Lakhani, quickly recognized and diagnosed it. She gave me a detailed, effective and easy set of steps to follow. Although my internet research said it could take a month or more to clear up, her medical advice had the issue cleared up in a week. I am so grateful and highly recommend this Doctor!
