Very clean office and the team team is very professional. I trust Dr. Chiasson and have been going for years. I think it's best to keep a good when you find one. Dr. Chiasson is professional, knowledgeable, honest and takes the time to explain what is going on and why.

Dr. Chiasson's office office is following high standards from pre-screening to full staff use of PPE. I felt comfortable throughout my eye exam. They are thorough and explain all steps along the way with detailed results and recommendations. This is a very welcoming and professional environment. Thank you to the staff at Etobicoke Optometric Centre, and a special thanks to Dr. Chiasson! I hit my eye with a metal rod yesterday and was very concerned about the status of my eye. I sent a message to the Centre this morning and was told that the Doctor would like to see me and to come in right away. Due to COVID all the necessary precautions were taken, and I was able to have a full exam, and was reassured my eye was ok, this same morning! I am so grateful for their care and attention to my issue!

From the 1st day I met Dr. Chiasson and he told me that I had a “big eye ball” I’ve been hooked. So much so that even after relocating, I make the commute into Toronto see him every 2 years. Dr Chiasson has been my optometrist for over 12 years and I honestly look forward to my appointments with him. His humour is unparallel, his demeanour unmatched and professionalism pristine. In a time where everything is rigid, rapid and rushed, Dr. Chiasson takes his time and makes sure that you understand what is being said (even with his confusing 1970’s Rock n Roll references and all.) I can truly say that “I can see clearer now” after each appointment.

I’m 38 years old and have been wearing glasses and/or contacts since I was about 16. It’s been a long road with lots of different optometrists, at least three since I moved to Toronto 20 years ago. Finding an office like Etobicoke Optometric and a doctor like Dr. Chiasson absolutely feels like a needle in a haystack situation. Not even once have I felt rushed through the process of being examined or cared for like in the past at other offices. The staff is very knowledgeable and if they don’t know something, they know where to find the information and they actually get back to you! Dr. Chiasson is incredibly patient and has “seen” me through countless pairs of contacts and now recently through my LASIK surgery. He seems to be an endless well of knowledge on everything eye-health and vision correction. I honestly couldn’t imagine going anywhere else.

Had a great experience for an initial assessment. I really liked how they used laminated forms with whiteboard markers to provide all your personal information. Happy to see businesses taking steps to reduce waste. The optometrist was very nice and thorough. Good selection of glasses and the staff helped me ensure they stayed within my budget. They also direct billed to insurance which is always appreciated :) Highly recommend!

This was my first visit. I found the Office easily accessible even for the handicapped. The staff was very friendly and personable. They have all the necessary testing equipment and have a nice selection of glasses to chose from if you're in the market for a new pair. Finally, Dr. Chiasson was very informative and also has a great sense of humor which is really important these days. I've now made an appointment for my spouse to go there.

The staff working up front always greet me with a friendly smile and tend to the preliminary work with utmost professionalism. I then see Dr. Chiasson for my examination. Dr. Chiasson also is friendly and very professional and to the point. I arrive on time and expect to be seen on time and that is what happens every time.

As always very friendly. This last appointment took place during Covid and all protocols re spacing ,masks, and cleaning of chairs and equipment followed. As usual Dr Chiasson was thorough in his examination and carefully answered all my questions and still had time to talk about family and the impact of Covid I had another check up July 24. Could not have gone smoother. Covid protocol was followed meticulously . They were on schedule. All staff were friendly, informative and competent . Dr Chiasson continues to be welcoming, thorough and summarized all findings at the end of the visit. I highly recommend this Optometric Centre.

He has a very good bed side manor, gives me detailed explanations of my situation, and is very professional.
