The experience would be rated 5 star, since the staff and the doctor are amazing, professional, cooperative, always doing the best they can, in the awfully small congested office space. I am using wheelchair, and THE ONLY reason I have been a patient there 20+ years, is the great doctor and staff. The proximity to Lenscrafters store could be considered a plus and convenience, although it doesn’t matter that much to me. The office should really get up to 21st century standards, of accessibility (AODA).

Last 2 times the D. has arrived late; likewise for my wife's appt. 2 months ago. He's quite good, but tardiness is not acceptable. Plus I had the appt. for today and their writing confirming it on their business card; yet when I showed up for 10:30, they had no record of it in their computer ! Puzzling, but they did fit me in, but again, the Dr. arrived late. This was for me, not my wife Barb.

Fast knowledgeable appointment. My fiancé’s appointment was much more thorough than my own. Only downside is that I specifically said I was interested in contacts again and it was glossed over, it wasn’t until I was standing in front of a wall of frames and asked a sales person for help with contacts did I find out it should have been done in the appointment with the doctors. There was then a bit of resistance as I was diagnosed with astigmatism with this prescription. There was also a bit of confusion at reception as they tried to charge me for the appointment they had submitted to my insurance. My fiancé and I were paying together and he is not on my policy until we get married so I can understand the error.

A few weeks ago I had to take my grandmother to her appointment with Dr. Fong. Dr. Fong is absolutely wonderful and was very kind to my grandmother even with her minimal English. The staff took many safety precautions before entering. Before the appointment I had to fill out a form and I called the front desk to inquire about their protocols. Hailey was a pleasure to talk to since I was unsure about what I should do or go as it was my first time taking my grandmother as well as COVID-19 protocols. She made me feel super comfortable and I knew exactly what I had to do before the appointment.

This place is terrible. They treat you like a number and a commodity. They rush you and only care about the $115.00 exam fee per person. The waiting room was jammed and the ladies at the front desk are rude and dismissive. They seem to have forgotten they are taking care of people's health and not objects.

Only criticism would be the cramped work area for staff and the lack of seating for the number of patients waiting their turn. The previous location in the mall was much nicer.
