Great and helpful receptionist and the doctor did a great job doing a thorough eye exam. The only reason for the four stars was because one I had to reschedule my appointment from 12:30pm to 5:15pm which was a little annoying because I was hoping to get my glasses at the same day. So, do not book your appointment online at LensCrafters as their booking system is not affiliated with the optometrist office. Secondly, I felt like the doctor was in a rush and that my questions weren’t really answered well. Overall, it’s a great place and convenient.

The staff are very friendly, very helpful, and very knowledgeable at what they do. They'll assist you with picking out the right glasses that fit your face (tools that measure your face and eye level etc.) They'll give you all the options and all the info you need in deciding what your next pair will be. The store is very clean and organized. They also have a good selection of glasses from low affordable prices to more high-end ones. The process was very quick and enjoyable. Would def recommend!

Dr. Stephanie Kwan was very professional and did a wonderful job with our eye exams. My wife and I have gone to a few different optometrists in the GTA and Dr. Kwan is definitely the best. I have a very heavy prescription and my wife has a very light one. She checked more than the minimum testing required for both of us. She kindly and patiently explained the various tests she was doing, and gave us great advice on things to look out for just in case in the future. We felt we were very well taken care of, and we’ll definitely be back in the future the next time we need an eye exam.

In June 2018, I saw Dr. Denny Fong again for some serious eye changes and was very impressed that he knew all the Specialists involved. I am also very pleased that I can receive any special reports via email and this service is covered by OHIP.

I have been a patient at their Woodbine Optical location for many years, and had a visit earlier today. I always make my annual check up with Dr. Kimberly Lee, as I have found her to be always professional, friendly, and informative. Today I needed my first eye exam, not for sight, but for something I found out today is called Floaters. Another sign that I am getting old. Lol. Today I saw Dr. Victoria Sin, and this visit has inspired me to take time to write this review. Her engagement with her patients was evident as I watched her deal with some before my visit and after my visit. Truly a caring person, and when examining me, she was open, honest, friendly, and made me feel totally comfortable. Enjoying any type of Doctor’s visit is rare, but I have enjoyed all my visits I have had at Dr Archie Chung and associates doctors. Looking for a great optometrist, chose them. They have multiple locations, and the doctors rotate through each location.

I was directed here through my insurance company. I needed to measure my vision for a new pair of glasses. From the start the experience was great. The receptionist greeted me courteously and took the preliminary information efficiently, with a sense of humour. We had a humorous conversation about eyes which put me at ease. Dr. Naomi was the one to see me. She did a great job, all the tests which are part of a full eye exam. All through it she was open, frank, provided honest opinions - as when I asked her whether a laser eye surgery made sense at my present stage. The fee was reasonable - Dr Naomi even waived the retinal scan fee - and was covered fully by my insurance. I will probably go there again.

Ridiculous. I had booked an appointment online back in November to be seen on Jan 22 (today) at noon, and got no confirmation email nor call to confirm. So on Jan 2, I gave the office a call and spoke to someone at reception and was told the online booking actually doesn't work half the time as they get no notification of it, so she said to always call and make appointments that way. Not a problem, these things happen, so I book an appointment for the same date and time over the phone. Cut to today, when I call at 10am to confirm the time for my appointment and was told my appointment had been cancelled with no notice, due to a family emergency with the optometrist. Which yes, I understand happens but if I hadn't have called ahead, I would have spent both time and money going over there, just to find out I wouldn't be seen! I was told they could ""squeeze me in"" to see another doctor at 1pm, but after this experience, I will be taking my business elsewhere. This place clearly doesn't have the ability to keep track of appointments, nor respect their customers.

I just gotta say, my visit with office and my appointment with Dr. Victoria Sin was as pleasant as it could be for something like this. For years my yearly eye exams were just a routine thing for me to get out of the way and all of my appointments with other optometrists were just as routine for them. Here it felt kinda personal. My appointment started at the time it was scheduled to start ( a very rare thing these days) and Dr. Sin was patient, friendly, professional and thorough and I never at anytime felt rushed. I'm actually for the first time in all my years looking forward to my visit next year.

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Kwan. She was incredibly rude and very unprofessional during the majority of the visit. I voiced concerns that I could not see the letters properly during the vision test, and she told me that my vision was normal. After guessing which letters were which, she said I did well and that my vision was good, even though I couldn't make out any of them. My boyfriend, who was present during the whole test, later told me that I got many of the letters wrong, despite Dr. Kwan telling me that I did well. I told her I had to guess what the letters were based on the shapes of them and she sarcastically replied with "Oh, well, thank you for guessing!" Following that test, she put together a mock version of the prescription she felt was right for me on a special pair of glasses and told me to wear them for a short period to see if it felt right. She left my boyfriend and I in a separate office while my eyes adjusted to the lenses. While we were waiting, my boyfriend asked if I could read a notice on the wall. While standing side by side with him, it was incredibly hard to read the notice, as most of what it said was very blurry to me. My boyfriend, however, was able to read it, clear as day. I moved much closer to the notice to read it out to him, and we both agreed that the prescription wasn't right for me. When Dr. Kwan returned, I told her what we had done and how difficult it was to read something that was fairly close to me (within 5 feet, with fairly large lettering). She asked me to try and read it out to her from where I had previously stood next to my boyfriend. I said that I didn't feel I'd be able to accurately describe how severe the blurriness was, because now I knew what the notice said. She once again sarcastically replied with "Oh great, so you have photographic memory then! Perfect." She then asked us to return to her office. Once sitting back in her chair, I told her how difficult it was to still see things clearly from a reasonable distance, and that I didn't feel that the prescription was right for my eyes. She then said "Well, I went to school for this. So in my professional opinion, this is what I or any doctor would prescribe you. I don't feel comfortable giving you anything different." I was a little shocked because she wasn't listening to my concerns and because I couldn't believe that someone who earned their doctorate would treat a patient in such an unprofessional way. After the visit, I asked my boyfriend if Dr. Kwan seemed a bit rude, or if it was just me. Not only did he agree with me, but he was so completely blown away with how rude she was during the visit. He reccomended that I see his eye doctor, so I set up an appointment. That doctor discovered that Dr. Kwan has given me a completely wrong prescription for my eyes. My left eye was prescribed far too high, and my right eye was prescribed way too low. He explained to me that this is why my glasses were giving me headaches, because my eyes were 'fighting' each other for balance in order to focus properly. He also made up a mock prescription for me, which was infinitely better than what I had received before from Dr. Kwan. I hate to speak so poorly of someone who went through so much schooling to become a doctor, but Dr. Kwan treated me so poorly and refused to listen to my concerns, simply because she had a doctorate and I didn't? I will never be visiting these offices again due to her incredibly unprofessional behaviour. I would also like to add that the doctor I saw at this same office a few months previous to Dr. Kwan also prescribed me with an incorrect eye prescription; and when I mentioned I was getting headaches from using a computer for work, she neglected to tell me about tints I could get to block Blu-ray light.

The reception team is terrible, and unprofessional. I called to make an appointment yesterday and the receptionist on the phone confirmed with me that today at 4:30pm was my appointment. I show up at 4:20 today to find out I hadn’t been booked. They looked confused, and unorganized. They told me the doctor could accommodate me but they wouldn’t know how long I would be waiting. That’s bs. Why do I have to wait if I had done my due diligence to book an appointment? This was your office’s fault. Dr Chung has been taking care of my eyes for quite some time. I find him to be very knowledgeable, friendly and kind. Always had a great experience at the clinic and the staff are very friendly too. I would definitely recommend him.

Dr. Won is amazing at what she does and very attentive. She even helped direct me to an amazing specialist for a laser treatment I needed. Highly recommended!
