Things were good. I had an Optometrist appointment there. A couple weeks later I went in to order glasses. The clerk had NO IDEA what he was doing. I even had to show him how to use the payment system to process the credit card. Now I have been trying to call them and they NEVER pick-up their phone. I have left several voicemails with no response. I can't even say it is the worse service I have ever had, because the truth is, there is NO SERVICE. I would not recommend Opticanada to a friend, and I would not return to them again.

2 great experiences from start to end! Thanks to Lillian & the technician - i am sorry i didn't get his name. 1st time was for a minor repair & because they were so pleasant, i went the 2nd time to browse glasses. Lillian was calm, ever helpful & transparent throughout the whole process. Investing money in a pair of new glasses was a bit overwhelming but she helped me with everything from what frames suit me, to lense selection & in my case - able to direct bill to my insurance. Great prices! Fabulous service. Can't wait to be styling my new glasses.

My wife and I first came here 2 years ago for eye tests and glasses. Our experience was very positive and this time we had our kids tested as well. Their on-staff eye doctor is great - very patient and thorough. Their selection of glasses is quite good and again, all the staff know their stuff and are a pleasure to deal with! Will be back again!

Hands down the best experience EVER by far when it comes to getting new Specs. Their high tech, super thorough exam is next level. This place is great! They have good selection of glasses and very friendly and helpful staff. My husband was looking into getting glasses and they gave him a sight test rather than an actual test so it was free! We found out he doesnt even need glasses so it was really great that they offered that sight test for free!

I would recommend Opticanada at the Westshore Mall. The latest equipment will be used to test your eyes and they have a great selection of reasonably priced frames.

They built two pairs of lenses for me. After several weeks I went back to them to redo because the lenses were just a little to strong. I couldn't believe that they were willing to work with me after the amount of time had passed. They had patience and persistence on providing me with the service that they advertised. They reexamined me and gave me two new pairs of lens. THATS SERVICE! Thank you to the staff and practitioner for being courteous and professional.

Update. Brought in my glasses today that needed to be adjusted. Owner dropped everything and spent 10 minutes making sure they were perfect, including a professional cleaning. Feeling well taken care of. /Dropped in to see about whether we could save a broken frame. Professional and friendly owner carefully showed me why it was not possible and quickly found a new frame that matched. Had it ready in a couple hours. Highly recommend.

Experience in the store was good, unfortunately the lenses I bought were a mistake. I said "No" to having safety lenses on my work glasses, but low and behold : they scratched up because they are plastic. Whether miscommunication, mistake, or other... Not happy. Would not chance it again.

Exceptional service! I had to have my eyes checked to update my prescription. I felt totally safe - the space was cleaned and sterilized and the equipment was protected so I felt no risk of transmission of COVID. The optician was very friendly and professional. I purchased a new set of frames for the new lenses and I also had a set of frames for sunglasses that I had new lenses with the updated prescription added. Good pricing and excellent service. The previous glasses I had purchased on-line and after my experience with Opti Canada I will return here for any future eye-glasses purchases.

Walked in with no appointment and they accommodated me a little later that afternoon. I had my 2.5 month old baby with me in the stroller. She was asleep when we first started the exam but unfortunately woke up about 10 mins in. She then began crying and the Optometrist didn't even bat an eye. He was so sweet and understanding! Then after as I was waiting for my trial contacts one of the other employees walked her around in thr store in the stroller to get her to sleep. Top it off they direct bill so I didn't pay anything out of pocket today! I wasn't sure what to expect but it was a great experience.

Optic Canada is the best optic store I have ever found in my life. They are really nice people. Always take care of their clients. Never over charged. Follow your instructions and gives you discounts. The Manager Mr. Sam is an awesome and a polite person. He always try to find you the best option that will work for you. I would highly recommend.

Meh. Tried this place, not very good. Went in to get new glasses, wanted 2 different pairs. I have my own and my spouses extended benefits, i could have got both pairs but the man there wouldn’t look up the second one, tried to get me to pay out of pocket instead. I picked one pair then. Was told it would be two weeks to get them. Wow, I have been to a few other places over the years, the wait was never more than a couple days. Gave them the benefit of the doubt- could be covid-related shortages or something. Two weeks later, the glasses came in. The man there just gave them to me- didn’t want to bother adjusting them to fit my face or anything. When I pointed out that they were crooked (new glasses don't come from the factory made to fit anyone’s face perfectly) he used his hands to bend them- no tools or anything! Got the lenses covered with his fingerprints then gave them to me. They still are crooked, just less so. He was so apathetic and unprofessional. Never again!
