I am so happy with the experience I had at Esquimalt Optical. I went in on a Friday with my prescription, and by Wednesday I had my glasses. I had already had my eye exam at another place and I had such a different experience I wish I had the people at Esquimalt Optical do it. I had no pressure from the staff, they let me choose my frames, I tried on a ton of styles and you know what was the most fun part of the experience, I got to see the optometrist working through the open windowsill that looks through to the work room. Like, there was a couple with their kids who came in while I was in and the doctor and Dayna knew their names and it was such a community moment. I have to say Dayna really kicks butt when it comes to choosing frames, she knew just my looking at me at which ones would fit and suit me. Both the doctor and Dayna spent time to help me find what I needed and I recommend Esquimalt Optical to everyone. I wont go anywhere else, even if I move. I think they a rare gem in professionalism and customer service. I have to mention how much I love my glasses too I got a Fysh UK frame and they are very comfortable and flattering.

I had a very pleasant experience here with the awesome staff here when I went for my eye exam. Russell, the owner, personally greeted me when I showed up for my appointment, and took care to ensure that things were going well. Dr. Brian Friedmann, the optometrist, was also eager to provide answers to all my questions about the various diagnoses. The casual, knowledgeable ease of everyone at this clinic is something I'd definitely be looking forward to in future visits.

Doctor was ok. Sales lady at the front was not so great. Had to demand they give me all information from my test, they didn't want to as I "might go buy glasses somewhere else." Would not use again
