I've had nothing but amazing service at Fort Saskatchewan Eyecare! Between health checks, contact fittings and brand new glasses I've pretty much run Through the gauntlet of services they offer and all of them have been pleasant, professional and extremely easy. It says a lot that with all the options for eye care out there these days - I still make the choice to drive out of the city 30 minutes in order to receive care by them.

I give 5 star to all these employees, especially the doctor himself, BUT these stars do not belong to that centre girl with fat legs and wearing purple and black. She is rude, selfish, and very lazy in her job. I am wondering why no one has kicked her out. I gave my glasses to her to clean, after struggling to clean the two nose pads, she came to me and said "keep it clean next time". The psycho thinks that I had done it on purpose or people are doing it on purpose.

I've been going to Fort Sask Eyecare for many years now. The staff are very friendly, helpful and professional, especially Kelly. She's made some great suggestions and gotten myself out of my normal comfort zone when it comes to frames. I've been bringing our young children to them for regular eye exams and they love the doctors and the staff as they not only make it comfortable for them, but fun as well (the gumball machine filled with treats/toys really helps out, lol). Amazing! They are so great with my kids, and patient. Dr. Shaw is personable, always full of fun facts, and able to hold the kids attention through the exams, which I appreciate. Kayla is also great with my very shy daughter who's had glasses since she was 2. Overall friendly, welcoming environment. I'd pay a bit more for glasses everyday if it comes with good customer service.

Dr. Hobson was so thorough with our eye exams and our son had a really fun time in the kids area, so much that he didn't want to leave! Definitely recommend! They went above and beyond! From the ladies at the front desk, to the optometrist, to finding glasses for my son and everything in between, was a great experience! Even when I was having issues with my health benefits and that whole process, they were very understanding and helped come up with a solution until it got rectified that worked for us all in the end! I even ended up booking an appointment for myself after taking my son there.

Yesterday I took both my daughters, ages 3 & 5, to Fort Sask Eyecare. We saw Dr. Shaw and I could not have been more impressed. My girls were a little nervous, but he was calm and kind and so good at explaining things to them. He sang Moana and played games with my youngest, and he explained everything in a very age appropriate way to my oldest who loves science, which was so appreciated. She was so excited she got to learn all about eyes. In addition to being great with my kids, Dr. Shaw took the time to explain everything to me so I would know what tests he was doing and why. I have heard great things about all the doctors there, but I really recommend Dr. Shaw.

Great local optometrist with lots of selection on eyewear! My husband and I saw Dr. Shaw who was personable and very knowledgeable. When we went back to pick out our glasses we were rushing at the end of the year to get our benefits claims in and we showed up about 15 mins before closing (because we both work late) but Kelly was super helpful and patient with us and stayed late to get our orders processed for year end which we really appreciated! Great customer service!

I have visited Fort Saskatchewan eye care a few times now for regular check ups, glasses, and sunglasses. I very happy with every visit and left with all of my questions answered and great frames that I love! The store has a very friendly and well kept appearance, plenty of beautiful frames at reasonable prices, and friendly/helpful staff. They have modern equipment that I have not seen used in the past clinics I have visited. Dr. Hobson is extremely knowledgeable, but explains things in a very simple and easy to understand way. Apparently, he even does magic tricks for kids! I do not hesitate to recommend this clinic and wish this business much success!

Wonderful experience!!! My husband was having an ocular issue and wanted an Optometrist to have a look at his eye as soon as possible. When we called Fort Sask Eyecare, Kelly was extremely accommodating and suggested he come in right away. Dr Hobson was very knowledgeable, personable and thorough in his exam. We left the office knowing that my husband had the very best care. Later that same day, my daughter and my 5 month old grandson appeared to have a possible eye infection. I suggested my daughter call to see if Dr. Hobson could see them that day, again she was told to come right in and they would be seen ASAP. My daughter left the office very confident that her son and herself were very well looked after. The office is beautiful!!! Love the eyeglasses coffee table! But more than the look of the office is the feel of the clinic. It was a happy place to be, everyone was smiling and very genuine!!! I'm in the eyecare profession and this is the clinic my family and I choose to look after our ocular and eyewear requirements!

Despite me calling this morning, and the clinic being completely booked today, Dr. Sara Starko agreed to squeeze me in.
