My mother was sent here for a second opinion by her primary eye doctor. The first visit went ok, her eye drops were changed. She was told to come back for a second appointment. She was not told why, only assumed to follow up regarding her changed eye drops. At the second appt the eye doctor told her to book her eye surgery appt and did not explain properly. My mother told the doctor, she cannot do that. She needs to discuss this with her husband and furthermore does not want surgery for her glaucoma (when her diagnosis is not even confirmed - as her IOP remains the same with or without eye drops). She told the doctor she would have to think about it, then will call the office IF she wants to proceed. A year later she gets a message on her machine stating - her surgery is booked, please call to confirm the appt. She called the office the same day, left a message stating - CANCEL this appt, she is not going to have surgery. The appt was NOT cancelled instead she got a call from the automated service stating her appt is scheduled and reminding her of COVID procedures. My mother has NOT had a good encounter with this office for many reasons:
1. Booking appts without notification from the patient,
2. The doctor seemed upset when my mother at the appt told him she would not book without discussing this with her husband,
3. The automated phone tree is not user-friendly and does not take messages properly,
