Dr. Wittenberg performed a flawless, quick healing vitrectomy on my left eye a couple of months ago so I've been into their office pre and post several times over the last 6 months or so. The staff has been uniformly courteous and efficient and, more importantly, most of the visits were under an hour. My last appointment was for 10:15 AM and I was on my way home at 10:12 AM. Wow!!

Went in for an ROP exam for my child. They refused to explain the procedure while in hospital the two times it was done. When being booked for another outpatient ROP exam this is where we were sent. Finally after asking the receptionist 5 times and saying I'm. Not bringing my child in until the procedure is explained and I'm informed as to why it needs to happen... my child if born 5 days later would NOT need this exam and because she also doesn't meet the requrements for this test (no cpap at brith) . Now that our appointment day has come.they did not tell us the retnas need to be dilated 3x and this also puts my child at risk as using an eye anistetic the child needs to be monitored for "down stats" for 48hrs... wich we as normal people don't have a heart rate monitor an oxygenation monitor and breathing monitor to be hooked up to our child. So now we just watch and wait and hope to god our child doesn't have a down Stat in the next 48 hrs. We will be monitoring our child like hawks.

This place is horrible. Their doctors may be great but the "appointments" are garbage. If you are scheduled, be prepared to wait 2 hours for your "appointment". They will double book your time and give another party the priority. My family is incredibly upset at the staff for making excuses for this, somebody who is in pain should NOT be forced to wait 2 HOURS for their scheduled appointment. Get your acts together.

Wife had an appointment at 9:50 but we waited for almost 2 hours before the doctor saw her. I can understand that there are other patients they need to see but it's frustrating to wait that long specially if you're already booked at a specified time.

Walking by this office and looking in at an amazing waiting room. Stopped to talk to the receptionist and we agreed the waiting room was like a small hotel lobby. I didn't require any of their services but the warm welcoming atmosphere in this office was very appealing. Thanks for the friendly conversation ....

I'm an extreme sports athlete any young man working towards becoming a role model towards Youth and perhaps the younger generation upon business. I trust Within the healthcare system in Canada to properly diagnose and help maintain my health in regards to my own research and I'm My Own knowledge of living healthy. I went to the centre to address a problem within my right eye experiencing flashing this is only been occurring for 2 months. Dr. Gizicki diagnosed me and checked my eyes out and taught told me that over there is nothing wrong with me that my eyes perfectly fine. Now I know it is not normal to see flashes in my eye so I know he was wrong he did not explain any preventive tactics towards me not having to have future problems. He did not tell me any remedies or tricks to care for my eyes. Leaving me with no advice not properly being the practitioner that you should be. Over 75% of Canadians are being misdiagnosed and steered wrong in regards to their problems. If you look on the news know anything about the current crime rates and mental health you will see how bad our health care is getting in regards to the individuals that are holding the positions Within. I am really upset and displeased with the service that I have gotten at the centre things need to change to get better the healthcare system cannot continue like this.

Honest Experiences

Had to wait 2 hours in the waiting room before getting my eye looked at (talk about overbooking) I asked DR. LAM what the end goal was for all the treatments they were giving me and he said "I could look in your file and check but I'm not gonna do that because that'll take a long time" Did not answer any of my other questions either, or give me any solution on my irritated eye. DR.LAM was RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL , and STUCK UP, he does NOT know how to treat/talk to patients. He was yelling and then aggressively waved his arms in a cross and stormed out of the room. I was left with an irritated eye and was forced to go home. Absolutely horrible.

Had an appointment to see Dr. Dhanda whom I had seen before. Had to take time off of work for the appointment. As I was heading over there for my 7 AM Monday appointment got a call from the office telling me the appointment is cancelled. No reason, no apology, was just told they would be in touch for my next appointment. This shows what this place is like, be aware this is how much they care.
