Dr. Smith saw me for some vision changes I was having at night. He was very thorough and helped change my prescription for my glasses. He was very knowledgeable and also helped with my dry eyes and some things to help with that besides lubricants. Very helpful!

Dr Fassio is incredible. He recently operated on my cataract. He made sure I was comfortable and properly prepared. My result was amazing. I should’ve done it a year ago but was afraid. He is also a conservative doctor and won’t perform surgery till it’s necessary. I highly recommend him and his great staff.

Extremely unprofessional, rude & condescending. I wouldn't go to Dr Fassio if you have any questions at all. Doesn't want to take the time to explain anything and if you dare ask questions, then he just loses it. His assistant did a complete exam, told us both my daughters had astigmatism and different scripts for each eye. He told us the opposite. When asking about this, he lost it. When I told him I was trying to get to the bottom of what was going on with their vision. He seemed to calm down, but chalked it all up to "a misunderstanding". Total waste of time and money for me. Didn't/couldn't answer why my daughter's glasses were fine when her contacts weren't. He simply just shrugged and said, "I don't have an answer for that." I would have accepted that except his attitude was extremely unprofessional and condescending. Bottom line, he couldn't care less.

Mountain Valley Eye Institute goes for the jugular, without respect or consideration to the human behind the "overdue account". I recently received a warning letter explaining that I'd be sent to collections (via USPS) and by the time I received it they had already sent me, giving me no time to respond or pay. I have no idea how I missed the original invoice (sent via USPS, amongst mounds of junk mail, I can only guess). I can certainly understand the need for "aggressive collection" strategies from the medical industry (since insured customers may be waiting out insurance companies to pay or don't fully understand their coverage), but I do think that a text or an email or a phone call might have been a nice follow up gesture, since you do have those forms of contact on file as well. USPS is an outdated and inefficient form of communication and should not be your ONLY method before the drastic measure of attempting to ruin an otherwise loyal and longtime customer's credit.

Doctor Fassio is extremely disrespectful and rude. Does not listen, talks over you, and down to you. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

I have been to multiple eye Doctors over the years and none of them have treated me anything like Dr. Fassio and his staff. Dr Fassio always treats me like he really cares and is very professional as well as personable. After my recent cataract surgery performed by Dr Fassio I can see better than ever before. His follow up and attention to detail is unsurpassable by no one. I would highly recommend Dr Fassio to everybody !
