I had cross linking surgery. The doctors don’t really take time to answer questions you have. They don’t give you any time off from work after the surgery. I was told the surgery doesn’t alter your vision but I beg to differ my vision is way worse now than it was before the surgery and if you google it it tells you vision will get worse before it gets better. Also I called and Dr. Ashford tech asked me to hold. I held for an entire hour only to discover it was time for them to get off so I held while she drove home!

Not very happy with Dr. Ashford after taking my mother to a visit with him yesterday. I am also a patient of Dr. Ashford's and was very concerned after the extremely quick exam and reluctance to listen to his patient. My mother is over weight and is 69 years old. She just got released from the hospital after a two week stay has begun physical therapy. I did not appreciate the way he pulled my mothers head forward and down and then say, pull your chin down. Then the remark of the fork is going to kill you! Mom has informed me that she will not be going back to see him and mom is still doing her therapy and dieting per her general practitioners recommendation.

Dr Moore is a very intelligent doctor, however I do wish he’d explain about surgery procedures. I had DMEK surgery and wasn’t told what to expect nor given any information regarding the process and recovery. I was only told I would be flat on my back for 48 hrs but it was 6 days on my back. I would recommend this doctor and would encourage him to be more informative to his patients
