I was very impressed with Eye Care Associate from the very start, even before my visit. Beginning with the information packet I received in the mail. It contained information explaining what my options were and the differences between them. It did so in plain english and was very easy to understand. That was good because I learned that the way they fix my problem was totally different from how I thought they were going to fix it. I was already apprehensive about what was wrong with my eye. It came on rather suddenly, that scared me. When I finally got to the appointment I was very impressed with the facility and the staff. They were all very friendly and knowledgeable about what they do. They answered all of my questions, and did an excellent job of explaining what was going to happen. They really had thier act together, and I got the impression that not only did they know thier jobs, they enjoy thier jobs and thier working environment. It's one thing to have knowledge and skills but if you enjoy your work everybody benefits. I highly recommend them to anybody facing complicated vision issues.

Got Referral in June 2020, called to make appointment was told need new Referral from Eye doctor and they had destroyed all documents. I was referred Dr.John Sutton, my regular eye Dr. It was time to have cataract removal. I was told I could get lenses that would correct my nearsited condition so I could see without glasses. The staff there was prompt and helpful with the steps..especially the out of pocket costs of the proceedure. The Ist, 2nd, and third post op tests were good. On Ist post op I was better than 20-20 on the left. Same on the right.Dr. Manning emphasized that I would get the best sight on the right if I went with a better grade of lens-Toric- Which was entirely worthwhile. After a lifetime of wearing corrective lenses I use reading glasses off shelf at the pharmacy. My night vision has improved a lot. At this point I am 2.5 mos. from the surgery and still improving. I am completely satisfied with the service and support from Eye Care Associates of Nevada.

Both eyes are healing quite well, I made a blunder by stopping the wrong eye drops!! I called & spoke w/Dr. Hiss' nurse, SHE worked me in to be seen by Dr. MC McIntyre! While describing my symptoms, I also mentioned I was in Reno, And My Clinic optometrist was not at my clinic. I was given a time to be seen by a doctor at Eye Associates of Nevada! I was relieved to know my recovery was very important to my medical team. I was examined and given the remedy to continue with my healing process!! I have going ECAN for about five years now. Dr. Manning is my ophthalmologist. He is cares about your health and the health of your eyes. He takes the time to listen to you. There is no hurry to move you out the door. The staff from the reception desk to the medical assistants follow his example. I highly recommend EyeCare Associates of Nevada for proper eye care!

I have been a patient at Eye Care since the 1990's. I had been examined for a routine checkup and it was discovered that my pressures were very high; 34 in both eyes. Diagnosis was glaucoma. So since then I have been putting drops in both eyes. My pressures are steady @ 15!. In December I will have cataracts removed in both eyes. Curtis Manning, MD is my doctor . I receive excellent care. I highly recommend Eye Care for all of your ophthalmology needs. Service by the whole staff is superb.

Other than it literally takes forever to get an appointment and/or surgery scheduled this place is awesome. The doctors and staff are knowledgable and friendly and take real good care of their patients. Which is probably the reason it takes so long to get an appointment . I'd definitely recommend them.
