I'd give 6 stars if I could. First of all, their staff is so nice. I went there to get fitted for contacts for the first time and they took their time teaching me how to put them in, listening to which ones felt best, etc. Not to mention you can literally text with them?! SO. CONVENIENT. We are still working through which contacts are going to be best for me but truly I have never been to any sort of office (medical, eye, etc) that's this amazing.

I truly can’t say enough about how much I LOVE this office. I very rarely leave reviews but this office has always gone above and beyond to care for me as a person and my eyesight. I had a complex migraine while having an eye exam in this office. During this time I had right side facial drooping which mimicked a stroke. The doctor never panicked, she and her husband both cared for me and long story short, helped me figure out my next step. The next day the doctor personally called me to check and make sure I was feeling better. She did not have to do this seeing as she had done her job with my eye exam. This is the same doctor they met me right at closing when I had an eye emergency. She did a very throughout exam and assured me that the inflammation I was experiencing would soon subside. The entire staff including the doctor has always greeted my son and I with a smile, patience, and kindness. I am always given great advice and information for my eyecare when I comes to my contacts. I finally have contacts that soothe my extremely dry eyes!!!! I also love the quality of the glasses I bought in their office. I had a problem with the leg on one of my glasses and they immediately order another pair and within days I had brand new glasses, not just a bandaid over the issue of the frame. I am so grateful for this office and adore everyone one in it. Thank you for giving the up most quality care to your patients! I look forward to my next appt. even with my little guy in tow!

I had to make appointments for my two kids, which can be stressful for any parent. There was hardly any wait time. The staff was very kind and understanding with both of the children. We have VSP as our insurance provider and had little out of pocket cost. Each appointment was a total of $4 and the glasses our daughter selected were $44 (the insurance covered $130).

Can't say enough good things about Dawson Eye Group and their awesome doctors, techs, and opticians! They were so patient with my 5 year old and eased her jitters. Then let her try on ALL THE GLASSES, dug through their back room for "lavender sparkle" glasses, and finally helped her special order the perfect pair! ♥️ She had a wonderful first visit with this office!

I cannot say enough good things about this place, Kelley was my doctor and was incredibly professional, everyone here really cares about their professions and want to make sure you are happy with your visit. You don't see this kind of service anymore, I highly recommend them to anyone seeking eye care of any kind. They checked my eyes with a scan, I had a different office that I no longer use check them as well, Dawson Eye Group had caught an issue the other office had not! They are very thorough and had even made several follow-up calls to check on my on-going eye issue. Definitely recommend!

When initially scheduling an appointment, I inquired about the length of time due to having to schedule a sitter for my three young children. My appointment was set for 1:45pm. I received three text messages confirming this time. Upon my arrival I was informed the facility was closed and would not reopen until 2pm. I find this facility completely unprofessional given they scheduled an appointment during their closed hours.

A staff can make or break an office and everyone here is so incredibly nice! We've seen both doctors and they are both great. Huge relief to find such an amazing practice so close to home especially when myself and both of my kids (5 and 1) wear glasses and we can all be seen at the same place.

I’ve had three visits so far with this practice and all have been really great experiences. Dr Kelley is so patient and willing to answer all my questions and explain things. The exams have been, by far, the most thorough/detailed eye exams I’ve ever had. Her staff is so welcoming and nice. I can’t say enough good things about this group! I am so grateful I’ve found them for my family!

These people took 1hr +40 min. for exam. Asked for script with PD.[PUPIL DISTANCE] Dr. would not provide, said he was not required by law. They are in the business to sell glasses not provide assistance for internet sales! I wasted my insurance benifits for NOTHING, thank you not!

Forced me to change my prescription after 20 years of no issues because they don't stock the brand/size I have and weren't going to profit on the sale of my contact lenses. Also VERY rude staff at front desk. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I have been to countless Optometrists in my 56 years, but never have I experienced such a welcoming, friendly, highly skilled team of professionals such as Dawson Eye Group in Dawsonville, Ga. From beginning to end these specialists (Dr. Kelly and Michael Dassinger and all of their staff) put a personal touch on each visit, are detail oriented, and will continue testing until the problem is located and a resolution is found. All of my family are patients/clients as well and are equally impressed with every aspect of Dawson Eye Group. We highly recommend them to everyone!!

The whole staff from the eye doctor to the secretary are incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. There aren’t many company’s that are operated like this anymore. My three children and myself go here. What a lovely place!
