North Toronto Eye Care has been one of the most pleasant experiences and decisions if chose in my life My cataracts were so bad I couldn’t tell the difference between an apple and an orange on the table in front of me and knew it was time to do something about this because I’m not much into apples lol On a serious note my personal experience from start to finish of both my eyes which I can tell you one week after my Ladt eye surgery I’m smiling as I walk now I can see 20/20 with no problems whatsoever through out my whole experience The staff there is very well schooled in all parts of the eye caring specialists any question was always answered with no bias of trying to drag you into there clinic even tho they would love if you chose their service because in their hearts they know you will be taken care of in the very best of all aspects of the procedure Clean healthy environment which in any day is very important adding to the quality and knowledge from top to bottom made my decision pretty clear in my choice to take care of one of the most important and delicate organs in my body from the moment I got up from after my eye being fixed it was like I didn’t even realize we were done THATS how caring and delicate the surgeon and staffs hands were I sat up smiled saw the smiles back at me and honestly that’s it I was able to see clearly and accurately from that moment on I thank everyone at North Toronto Eye Care for the caring and complete understanding in my needs and their expertise in being able to take care of me I thank you from all my heart take care and see you soon Nicholas Babishuk

My experience was incredible; from the organization and swiftness of getting to see the doctor for both the consultation and surgery (no lengthy waiting – very respectful of my time, which I really appreciated), to the thoroughness of explaining my surgery and what to expect in recovery, to the actual surgery itself. I felt completely secure with Dr Hess' care and trust her completely. She's professional, kind and friendly. While I hope I never have to have a ptosis surgery again... if I ever require more eye surgery in the future I would hope to be back in her care.

Based on the excellent references I had about Dr. Theodor Rabinovitch and his team, I wanted to and I was able to be accepted for surgery by him. The preparation, information given including potential risks was first class. The operation was excellent, totally successful, no issues whatsoever. It has been 4 weeks and my left eye is not healed yet & I cannot see out of it clearly so I had to postpone my right eye for now, so I cannot see out of my left eye with my glasses on & I cannot see out of my right eye without my glasses on. I had a very bad experience with Dr. Hess's assistant and how she treated me when I phoned to let her know that my eye was not healing yet and she said "what do you want me to say?". So I am now waiting to see what is going to be done.

I recently had cataract lens replacement surgery at North Toronto Eye Surgery Centre. For years I had foolishly put this off as I was apprehensive of doing this. Looking back I am disappointed at myself for not doing this before as I can only now appreciate what I had been missing out on seeing my world as it really is. The other wonderful benefit is that I no longer need glasses or contact lenses. Dr. Rabinovitch performed cataract surgery on my left eye in August, 2020 and lens exchange surgery on the right eye in January, 2021. Both surgeries were very successful. All of the staff is so friendly and caring that there is no need to be terrified. Once in Dr Rabinovitch's hands, I knew that there was no need to be terrified.
