Three years ago, I switched from a different optometrist, who shall remain unnamed, to Dr. Prizant. Am I ever glad I did! Dr. Prizant is thorough, extremely personable, accommodating, and knowledgeable. My daughter and I both recently had eye exams followed by a consultation and then fitting. We were attended to with the utmost patience and attention to detail. All in all, our appointment was more than 90 minutes long and at no time did we feel rushed or pressured to make any sort of decision. I cannot recommend Dr. Prizant and his team highly enough: outstanding service and dedication to the profession. Thank you! P.S. Bastien Prizant Optometry is ABSOLUTELY "THE BEST". Dr. Harry Prizant is so efficient, always good-humoured, and over decades of care for me, my parents, and friends, has consistently demonstrated caring, concern, compassion and competence. His staff - Josée, Lise, Ron, Robin, Sarah, Melanie, Nicole . . . . they are all so pleasant, and Lise and Ron - in particular - worked very hard, this past week, to accommodate my nonagenarian Mother's urgent need. The office itself, is filled with light, beautiful paintings, and many lovely frames from which to select your next, new pair of glasses for a "new look" or classic update. Kudos to Bastien Prizant!

They've seen me through financial difficulties and were able to accommodate during that time, and as I've improved upon my financial stability, were able to order exactly what I've wanted. I recently visited the office to get new eye glasses. I received a very thorough eye exam and retinal scan. I was fitted for two new pairs of glasses which arrived and were fitted the next day. I was impressed with the implementation of several changes to ensure everyone’s safety during COVID-19; his staff (in addition to their regular duties) cleans each seat and surface used by staff and patients. They also take your temperature when you walk in. It’s clear that everyone in his office has your best interest at heart. When my son had an “eye” emergency, Dr. Prizant’s staff was able to get us in for a same day appointment. Dr. Prizant’s incredible bedside manner and calming demeanor assuaged all the fear my son had. He took his time to explain everything to all of us (especially in a way for my young son to understand). He quickly identified the issue and reassured me and my wife that my son wouldn’t have any long-term eye health issues. My son now asks to go visit Dr. Prizant! If you want the best eye care Ottawa has to offer then I highly suggest you visit Bastien & Prizant.

A sincere thanks to Dr. Prizant for the wonderful service. I have got the red-eye during the COVID-19 closures. I was extremely lucky to meet Dr. Prizant and his team. I have had three visits there, and I would like to share my experience here. First of all, they follow all health protocols for COVID-19 ranging from checking the body temperature before entering the facility, wearing masks, keeping 2 m distances to cleaning, and disinfection of touched surfaces quickly and carefully.
