Been my Dr since before my daughter was born in 2002. Was a difficult pregnancy and needed an early C-section. All went well and were both happy n healthy and he's been taking care of me ever since! Anything unusual and he sends me for tests to get to the bottom of it.

I saw Dr Ywakim roughly 10 years ago. I had terrible, painful periods (pain would shoot down to my knees, and leave me desperate for those brief moments of relief). Dr Ywakim did not believe me, and after a routine pelvic exam, declared it was in my head and advised me to take birth control. In 2016, I unfortunately had to bury my son, who was born preterm at only 22 weeks. It was recently discovered that I have a unicornuate uterus with a rudimentary horn. My uterus didn't fuse together, and left me with a second uterine cavity. It's highly associated with painful and heavy periods, endometriosis, etc. Had Dr Ywakim taken me seriously, I would not have suffered with each menstrual cycle, nor would I have had to register for a birth certificate while my son was already in the morgue. So I've decided to rate Dr Ywakim very poor, as his inaction has negatively affected not only my life, but also my husband, my family, and his family. Shame on you, Dr Ywakim, but your loss. My condition is very rare, about 0.4% of the population, and I am sure you have not resectioned an unfused uterus. I could have been your "once in your career" case, but you dismissed me instead. I hope this will motivate you to offer the benefit of the doubt to all of your patients, even the young ones...
