The team here is very thorough and welcoming. I was recommended them by a friend who told me they were very precise and would suit me. He wasn't wrong, whenever I asked any question related to the process ,I didnt get a quick buzzword answer, they were extremely knowledgeable, and offered every option for optimizing my sight/ health, explaining how your eyes effect a variety of things (posture, train of thought, even mood) therapy that was available, or options like colouring and prism for my lenses. Another thing I really liked that stood out was the level of assistance, I hate when I go to an optometrist, to get new frames, am asked to try on demo frames, and whether I want them or not when I can't see them using the demo pair. Instead, they had me try them on and immediately asked if I'd like to have them take pics on my phone, so I could actually SEE them. The small things count, loved the level of attention they paid. Amazing service overall

been going to them 18 years... out of convince, nothing more. However I will no longer go there (neither will my family). The issue: I am going on vacation next week and need more contacts... but they wouldn't order any because I was due for my yearly check-up. I said I would come in when I get back - but they refused. After 18 years of being a customer, they yearly check up and fee seemed more important than helping me with a box of contacts that I would pay for as normal. Disappointed and very hurt by the customer service.

This is a professional, caring, and knowledgeable team. My family and I have been going for many years, even my 1 year old has had his eyes checked. They are thorough, offer assessments that aren’t available anywhere else, and explain your results. Not to mention the great selection of frames. If it wasn’t for this office I wouldn’t have lenses that makes my eyes strain less. Thank you!

I was very impressed with Dr Susana Sebestyen and her team, when I went to her clinic for an eye examination, a few months ago. She really takes the time to explain things to her patients, and you can’t help but notice how passionate she is about her work. What really caught my attention was how well (patiently and gently) she handled an intellectually disabled patient. Am so glad I found an excellent eye doctor and will certainly be going back to her !

Dr. Sebestyen took great care with me and treated a dry eye problem I didn't even know I had. I suffered from headaches and eye pain, and with her special care and dry eye treatment program I no longer suffer from these problems associated with dry eyes. I highly suggest going here for your eye exams and for specialized treatment for dry eyes.

I made an appointment and waited 3 days to get it. Finally I get there, give them my health card and fill in a 4 page document. I waited a bit and they took me inside to take pictures of my eyes and waited for about 45 minutes before they come to me and tell me they had to take a different set of pictures that cost $70. I have done many eye exams and I am covered by OHIP. I have never had to pay for an exam in my life. I think these people tried to take advantage of me because they saw a 17 year old kid alone with no adults. At last they refused to do my eye exam. I left. IF YOU ARE COVERED BY OHIP YOU SHOULD CALL OHIP AND GET YOUR MONEY BACK!!!

They have a wide variety of really nice frames and they helped me choose glasses that were best suited for my face. This is by far the best optometry clinic I have been to.

All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. A frame adjustment that was needed after I had been wearing my new glasses for a week was done promptly, correctly and without an appointment. Amazing group of optometrists! They are very detailed and preform amazing comprehensive eye exams making sure nothing goes unnoticed. They are all very professional and explain issues to you so that you can understand it clearly even if you have no optometry knowledge. All of the staff are extremely nice and helpful. OMG, what a wonderful team this is. Dr. Sebestyen took me in on an emergency because I had something stuck under my lid and my eye was so swollen and I couldn't open it at all. I was so sensitive to light and sore that I was ready to cry every minute of the day. It turns out it was a piece of glass ... ughhh. She took it out, and put a bandage contact lens on my eye and I was able to see when I went home (blurry, but still see). The pain was gone instantly, and she saw me every day until the scrape healed over and my vision was back to normal. As a result of my injury my eye is really dry, but she recommended homeopathic medicine and now I feel a great deal better. She is absolutely fabulous and the assistants were so amazing and caring and gentle with me, I will never go anywhere else.

I will never return here for Optometry services. As background, I was experiencing an eye emergency and I went to this office without an appointment, because these were the Optometrists my family and I had seen many times over the years. However I myself had not had a full eye exam for about 3 years so, although I was standing there describing the pain and burning I was experiencing in that eye, they would not see me and could not schedule me for a full eye exam for two days. They sent me to a walk in medical clinic who immediately referred me to a different optometrist who did see me immediately and where I received prompt, professional and FRIENDLY medical attention to remove the foreign object that was in my eye and causing the trouble. Dr Susana Sebestyen & Assoc. NOT recommended.

I have known Dr. Susana Sebestyen most of my life- I worked for her many decades ago and she was my mentor who encouraged me to become an Optometrist. What sets Dr Sebestyen apart is her passion for providing high quality care to her patients- she cares for her patients as if they are family. Dr. Sebestyen was never content sitting back and running a "business"....she continuously upgrades her training and knowledge so that she can offer her patients more than a regular eye exam. She is a very unique Optometrist in that she treats the patient holistically- with the eyes being the gateway to other conditions. Dr. Sebestyen is a pioneer in integrating homeopathy with Optometry in Canada. Her patients are loyal to her because they sense her devotion to their care.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sebestyn for over 20 years and all I can say about her is that I recommend her to all my friends – and everyone of them has thanked me.. And, all my family go to Dr. Sebestyn… for example, her thoroughness saved my wife from a serious eye problem on her cornea. I know she has also saved at least one of my friends from an imminent retinal detachment – that would have likely caused him his vision if she had not been so professional. In short don’t hesitate to see her. And, I've also bought all my glasses there.... and the quality is superb. I've been wearing glasses since I was three and I am paranoid about my vision; because of Dr. Sebestyn I simply don't worry about the health of my vision anymore.

The frames for the glasses are really beautiful and of high quality. I have never had any issues. I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone that needs eye care.
