Dr. Miramontes is awesome! She was my brother’s ophthalmologist at I Care San Antonio. My brother is high functioning autistic, very near sighted, has astigmatisms and glaucoma; in simpler terms, blind as a bat, exceptionally intelligent, and not good with social interactions! Dr. Miramontes was unfailingly kind, friendly, and patient with both of us. She taught us about care and management of his glaucoma, giving us detailed information in answer to all our questions, and was very careful and thorough with every aspect of his diagnosis and treatment. She even went so far as to note in his file that we would always receive her earliest appointment of the day, due to us having a two hour drive to the I Care office. (She’s also quite a snazzy dresser!) We would still be seeing her, but my brother now has insurance coverage, and is able to see an ophthalmologist much closer to our home.

I have lived and worked in multiple cities and 2 states; and Dr. Miramontes has, without question, provided the highest caliber level of care I've received. She has provided excellent eye care to me since the early 90's. I'm a Bookworm and I trust no one else with my eyes. Dr. Miramontes is the Ophthalmologist I trust with my eyes.
