Happy New Year. I had a eye exam very quickly, ahead of my date and time when i asked. The prescription was measured, ordered, and received very fast and adjusted at the time of pickup. Great team work, Tom.

Called the Coston Vision Center to inquire whether I can my pupillary distance (PD) measured. The response was that PD measurement is offered ONLY with the purchase of eyeglasses and not as a standalone service. Although I understand the business reasons behind this decision, in my opinion, this is expected only by a one star MEDICAL service provider. For additional context, in British Columbia, it is regulated by law that PD is provided along with the prescription.

Best service, and professionalism to the max. My son lost his glasses on a road trip and Todd (the manager) was beyond helpful in helping my Son get his glasses before school starts. A big thank to Todd and all the staff!

They have 2 or 3 employees but you will not be responded to immediately because except 1 everyone else will be “away”. After a long wait, you’ll realize the lens choices are very limited.. well they stock ONLY essilor so no option really. And essilor costs way too high if you’re choosing anything other than the basic

Policy change needed. Broken glasses and need to order exact same pair that is on file. Unfortunately they won't do that for whatever reason that is. Willing to pay up front with credit card but now I need to make 2 trips from out of town to order, and then pick up my new glasses. Prescription hasn't changed so why not try to make it much easier and most importantly SAFER for your shoppers. I would much prefer to rate 5 stars but struggling to understand your policy. Can ship me a garage to my front door in 3 days but can't even order glasses.

I was very disappointed they charged me 30$ for "lab" fees because I asked for lences only on my frame. They did a poor job in assembling the lences on the plastic frame. I could see imperfections every where inside the lences house.

BE AWARE that Dr. M. Park, the optometrist at this COSTCO location does NOT give you a prescription which would allow you to order eyeglasses outside COSTCO Optical. You will not be able to use this prescription for purchasing glasses online or offline. During the eye exam the optometrist collects all necessary information, but INTENTIONALLY HIDES from you the following pieces of it: -Cylinder (CYL); -Orientation (AXIS) -Prismatic power (PRISM) -BASE -Pupillary distance (PD) Without those parameters the prescription is useless for purchasing eyeglasses anywhere else. The reason behind that is obvious. They want you to purchase eyeglasses from COSTCO Optical for 2-3 times higher price than you find it online. By not disclosing to you all the relevant information about your prescription, they effectively FORCING you to buy eyeglasses from COSTCO OPTICAL. Although I understand the business reasons behind this decision, in my opinion, this is expected only by a one star MEDICAL service provider.

Had husband with me and wanted to pick out new glasses. Eye appt was scheduled with costco for 3 days later. They wouldnt even let me look at glasses until I had a prescription in hand. I explained that my husband was leaving for work and I wanted his opinion on the glasses but nope! You cant look. Theres better eyeglass stores in Sudbury!

Went in Feb 2020 for my wife's eye tested. Went again today (12DEC2020) as the prescription glasses were causing severe difficulties. The ophthalmologist didn't even apologize for their mistake that caused us sufferings, lied claiming that the last check they did was more than one year ago, declined to even look at the prescriptions they issued in Feb 2020, and charged full fees again for the changed prescription. So unprofessional. I used to take my family members regularly there. Will not do anymore.
