On Saturday, November 15, I was hired as a consultant by a client to assist him in the selection of optical frames. My client wears hearing aids and his main concern was that the frames fitted him comfortably without obstructing the hearing aid apparatus located in the back of his ears. he was also mindful of the fashion aspect of the frames. I was immensely impressed with Ben, the owner who allowed me to advise my client and choose a suitable frame which he acknowledged was a perfect fit for his face shape and bridge size. We can not say enough good things of our experience at Sardis Optical this morning. Al's so professional, and the service is exemplary. My son needed glasses so we had gone to four optical places prior to stopping at Sardis Optical. Not only did he get the frames he wanted, to our SHOCK Al had the lenses done and in the frames on 20 minutes. Absolutely stunned at the exceptional service. For myself a senior I asked what do they charge for me to have my eyes examed as I also needed new glasses. FREE he said to anyone over 65 . Not all places offer that as it's not compulsory, so those who can get away with it, still charge seniors, 35-50$ for an exam. The choice of frames we saw this morning was a pleasant change from the other places we had visited. They have a 40% sale on so that helped tremendously. BEST PLACE EVER, and besides getting us as two new eye customers, I've called all my friends when I got home to make sure they were aware of this place. Absolutely best service ever. Thank you Al for all your patience.

2months and still no glasses. i went in feb6th to get new glasses on my medical, and as of apr6th still haven't got them. all on owner's error.he copied my info incorrectly, had to resubmit request due to this, and come to find out he had to send fax to my band office, not AANDC for approval. then he tells me he won't comp for inconvenience for the delays. so i will take my business elsewhere, read the other neg reviews, i know i should have before trying to do business with this sleezeball

I cannot state strongly enough to stay clear of this business. The initial superficial facade you experience when you originally begin to deal with this shop is soon unmasked if you have any product concerns or issues. Shop around and save yourself the heartache you are bound to experience when dealing with this group. I choose not to do business with anyone or any business, that has a lack of ethics, morals, and purposely misleads you to make a sale, and then after the fact will not admit their shortfalls or stand behind their original commitments. Beware if you seem to be getting lower prices and think you are saving a lot more money than the other Optical Shops in town, there is a reason!! Unless the product is flawless and you have no warranty or product concerns while you own it, you will very likely regret making a purchase at this shop.

A few years ago I went to another optical business for progressive glasses. I was not satisfied with either the lenses nor glasses themselves. I had many questions which were never properly answered by the staff. I had my glasses adjusted almost daily because they never did fit right. I finally stopped wearing them and went back to using reading glasses. After a few years I decided to try progressive glasses again. This time I went to Sardis Optical. I was met by a very pleasant person named Joseph. I explained to Joseph my history with the other optical business and the concerns I had. Immediately Joseph was able to explain why I had the problems I did with the other glasses in simple terms and made suggestions for a new pair of glasses and lenses to ensure this would not happen again. I was amazed that Joseph in just a few minutes was able to answer all my questions where no one could at the other optical business. I decided on a pair of frames and the Varilux lenses with the Crizol coating. Joseph took many measurements to ensure a proper fit. Within a week or so I returned and Joseph precisely fitted my new glasses to my face for looks and comfort. The difference was amazing. The glasses fit great and the vision was clear. Ben, the optometrist and owner checked the fit and made some very minor adjustments and told me to try them for awhile then return to have the glasses rechecked for fit and comfort. I did return and had one minor adjustment done by Andy who also did a great job. I highly recommend Sardis Optical to anyone who is in need of glasses. These people are very knowledgeable and professional and take the time to ensure their customers are 100% satisfied! These are definitely my go to guys! It is now February 2019. I am still fully satisfied with Sardis Optical. I have been in from time to time for minor adjustments as things settle in on my personal fit of my glasses. I am always welcomed and treated very well by Ben, Al & Joseph! A while back I attempted to (tweek) my frames myself a few times eventually break one of the arms. I went to Sardis Optical and showed Ben and sheepishly explained what I had done. Ben simply ordered another arm for my glasses and only charged me his cost! My fault, my expense, his cost. Wow! Joseph refitted my glasses and they feel great! Smiles all around! Thanks guys!!

Anis Fadai went above and beyond to help me in a stressful situation. Just days before I was leaving on an extended vacation which included my son's wedding, the frame for my glasses broke. My backup pair was an old subscription. I went to Sardis Optical, where Anis looked all through the store to find a frame that my lenses would fit in. Not only did the frame work for the lenses, they fit my face and looked great. In less than a half hour all was well. Great service, knowledgeable staff and reasonable prices keep me coming back! His customer service is exceptional; he goes out of his way to help and get me the best deal. He's regularly done minor adjustments or fixes to the glasses as a courtesy. He's called the maker of the lenses or my insurance provider to make sure everything is in order. You couldn't get better service anywhere else!

Last month I went into Sardis Optical for an eye exam and glasses. I have never had glasses before and I told them I was on disability. They showed me the glasses I was able to afford with my coverage, and immediately I knew it was a high end glasses store. I settled on a pair of glasses, I chose a black basic wire rectangular frame because it was all I could afford. They told me to come back 48 hours later to pick my glasses up. When I went to pick them up, it was a light brown frame and told me that I am a liar and that there is no black. I was very upset and have high anxiety so I decided to take the brown frames and leave. After adjustments, I could barely wear them, they were extremely tight around the ears and nose. After leaving, my friend asked why there was such a glare in the glasses, they did not offer me the reflective lense coating. I had to immediately take them off for the walk home, it was unbearably blinding and painful. After getting home and doing some research I got severely taken advantage of, the tone of these people changed when I told them I was on disability. I phoned afterwards and asked if I could put some of my own money in to get a better pair and they told me they would scrap everything and I would have pay out of pocket for the lenses. After hours of crying and not knowing what to do, I went online and purchased a pair with the anti reflective coating for under 40$ (The lenses were free because of my low prescription) I was told in store that lenses were over 100$. I would advise people to do their research before going to Sardis Optical, if I had done my research I would have not blown all of my coverage on unwearable glasses.
