Extra billing. Be careful this guy charges you to write a second prescription., They tried to soak me for 20 dollars. Even though it was not my fault the paper fell apart after a week. It's extortion and violates seniors rights. Maybe they could upgrade their system to the 21st century and use computers like everyone else. The good news is these receptionist will be replaced by a 5 dollar app very soon.

Attended with my 81 year old mother for the purpose of having a lesion examined under her eye. We completed medical form on which I noted her numerous health issues including dementia. I confirmed with the young lady at the front desk that we were simply there for lesion exam. She mentioned they would do eye exam as well. I asked just for lesion and nothing else. Mom had been in hospital the week prior and was not feeling up to par. Mom was then called by another older lady (should have noted her name - long grey hair). She sat mom down and started doing eye exam. I repeated she was just here for lesion. She proceeded to snap at me that it was a referral for a full exam and that is what she would get! I was taken aback by her abruptness. Didn’t ask why or try to understand mom’s situation. I decided to not lose my cool for the benefit of my mom. She then saw Dr Heinrichs who was abrupt with mom during the procedure and also continued with some eye tests. I again decided to not respond but knew I would never recommend or return with my mom. In top of that their office scheduled mom for a follow up eye test in January without any consultation. I was planning to cancel at a later date. By the time I returned to my mom’s home their office had left a message on mom’s answering machine to state they were cancelling her January appointment because her facial tick would make it difficult. That was the last straw. My mom was so upset and insulted by that message. You need to overhaul that entire office and do some training on patient experience. It was clearly all about the revenue and nothing to do with the patient. Be curious, try to better understand your patient and their concerns, and have some empathy. Worst medical professional experience I have experienced.
