This place has the BEST customer service. I came in late to see Dr. Hubbard and Rachel at the appointment desk got me in right away and made sure I was still able to make it work. The doctor over explained my prescription, which I LOVED because I knew what I was getting myself into. Sam helped me pick out my glasses because there are so many great choices to choose from and then her and Matt helped me to get the best price I could! I highly recommend this place!

I'm visiting from out-of-state when my eyeglasses lost a nose piece. Not exactly life threatening but annoying. Since I don't have local optician, I went to this place I happened to see. The repair was done cheerfully and at no charge. I can't admit to having much experience with Eyeglass World, but sometimes little things teel you something avbout the way they handle big things. They asked for no payment, so a good review is my way of saying "thanks."

I had a terrific experience here on Saturday. Such a friendly staff; Nathan is awesome! I walked in -- without an appointment -- to try on some frames. He met me at the door, and explained their COVID protocol: easy-peasy; any frames you touch get placed into a bin for sanitizing. While I was picking out a million frames, both Nathan and the doctor checked on me a couple times. I had my old optometry place fax Eyeglass World my Rx, and Nathan took care of that and looked up my benefits info, too. The final price was terrific. What a pleasant experience. I will only go here from now on. Thanks! :)

Simply the best. I came here end of December 2020 because I had extra flex money that I had to use or lose. I asked for Matt Shay again because he is an amazing customer service person and he's a blast ????! That man knows his stuff. That's why, thanks to Matt, I was able to use my flex money for two more pairs of glasses.....one of those being subscription sunglasses. I picked out a few frames, brought them over and totally fell in love with the sunglasses. The frames were classic Coach. Very pretty and affordable. I picked up the frames and am soooo happy with both. Thank you Matt!! This place is great.

When it comes to the actual eye exam , I've never had a doctor explain to me in a way I can understand until I went here! He was very knowledgable and helpful in the process. He explained everything he was doing and why and also explained my condition thoroughly. I couldn't suggest a better place to get an exam! The sales gentlemen was very friendly in the purchasing process. My only downfall is the price point. Overall would strongly recommend this particular Eyeglass World to everyone and their Grandma.

The 1st time I used this store the 2nd pair of glasses was inputted wrong because I mentioned this is for a computer reading & I need it to be blue light reduction They should have contacted my eye doctor to confirm the script for that type of lens & didn’t realize that mistake Till a week ago therefore they can’t be remade till they hear back from the doctor (I’ll them credit for that)but the reason the doctor couldn’t get in touch with EyeWorld they gave MY tel# as their fax#??? Both glasses have had to be re-made taking almost 2 months of correcting various errors I would not recommend them They are polite & take you in right away Which why I gave them 3 stars

The staff and sales people are friendly and helpful. Service was fantastic, we where greeted at the door by our names (wow), and we have been there once before! Also, they are not pushy at all and work with you to get you as close to your price range as possible! We showed up a half hour early and they got us in as soon as we walked through the door, and our glasses where done the next day! I am extremely pleased with this store and would recommend it for anyone on a budget. All the staff where great, but the manager Matt is a master of his craft!

I did have a pleasant experience here with the doctor; he gave a very thorough test, explanation, and he was able to give me a accurate prescription. But the biggest downside was the price of the lenses themselves. I payed $204 (not including frames) AND that's with the help of insurance! Knowing my friends can get their glasses for about $70 at Americas Best, I cringed when I heard how much I was paying for mine. Would not recommend this place. I feel robbed.

I have to honestly say that coming here was the best choice I ever made when I came to my glasses and contacts. From the exam to the end purchase has always been outstanding. The prices are great, but the service is beyond exceptional. Other businesses should take note on how to treat customers. Replacements, super fast same day service I’d like to thank Matt for running such a fantastic operation there. They made me a lifelong customer..!!!

This place is beyond ridiculous. I came in for an exam and to order lenses. I was told 5-7 business days. I called after 10 business days to find out they weren't ordered at all. After 4 weeks of waiting, I couldn't pick them up without a class even though I've had lenses before and only class I could make was a Saturday due to work. The manager told me to get off work early to come for the class because the doctor was a " doctor" and couldn't wait an extra 15 minutes for me to get there on a week night. Oh and if not, i had to wait an extra 3 weeks to get my lenses so a total of 7 weeks when said and done for trial lenses. No thank you. Cancelled my order and won't be coming back with the lack of customer service. Dropped the ball on all fronts and then asked me to accommodate them and their failures.

Excellent care and service! I needed special recommendations to help with issues for my prescription and Matt was so helpful making recommendations to help meet my special needs. Matt suggested a path to try and help for a period of time, and if it didn’t I could come back for another option. Thank you Matt.

I will never go anywhere else. My 4 year old son got his first pair of glasses this year and the staff is always soooooo patient with him when we come in for yet another replacement pair. It's a learning process so having a staff that understand is invaluable. I'd recommend this location to anyone.

We stopped in accidentally on probably the biggest optimologist visiting day of the year and were one of Michael's customers. Despite having to juggle a billion people at once Michael went out of his way to verify our insurance information and help us with purchasing a couple pair of frames (which were no more expensive than 90% of other retail glasses stores)

Uninformed staff, who don't comunicate with the doctors. I recieved wrong information. Also my order was backordered. When I was told it would be only 4 days wait, I ended up waiting 2 weeks for an order I was misinformed about, with no call informing me on the wait. Highly dissatisfied and I will be having my scripts transferred to a different facility.

At eyeglass world they are professional and very helpful. 2 pairs of designer glasses for $260 out the door. Great price for 2 pairs of complete designer glasses! I highly reccomend going there. My old glasses broke in half the night before. I booked an appointment the following day and walked in with a bandaid barely holding my glasses together. The staff was incredibly sweet, fun, the whole process (exam included) only took 30 minutes, and they have incredibly reasonable pricing. Half an hour after my appointment, they had both of my new glasses ready for pick up. First time using them but definitely not the last time. Highly recommend!

I am new in USA. I wanted to get my spectrum frame fixed. I thought services are damn costly in US and I will have to shell out lot of money. When I went to Meijr, I spotted eyeglass world and walked in. The people were very friendly. They agreed to get it repaired. A person went in with spect and came back after sometimes with repaid spectrum. I asked him how much I need to pay. He said mothig. I was surprised and reconfirmed. Excellent service. For my next new spectrum, shop is confirmed.

After visiting Warby P and LensCrftrs the day before at the overcrowded mall, I felt a lot better (and safer) with Eyeglass World's services. Thanks, guys! Update: Just picked up my specs (older frames needed new high index lenses), and they're even better than before. They adjusted the nose guard part to fit my slightly irregular bridge so the frames would sit comfortably horizontal to my eyes. And, I always thought my ears were to blame for always sporting crooked frames. Thank you, guys!

By far my worst experience ever at the rochester hills location...ordered glasses and contacts 650.00 dollars later and I month later I am still waiting for my glasses to be corrected...called today and my lense re order is no where to be found...now I have to wait till Monday for some to call me back...before the lense re order went in 2 times to let them know the lenses were not right...the staff and 1 manager manipulated my frame and sent me home twice...3rd visit manger admitted a flaw and was to re order the lenses, 10 days have passed and I am still waiting...have had other issues and it is just beyond belief that this is acceptable...will not use them in the future especially since there has been no apologies, or a.desire to make it right for.the customer...very disappointed...

Went in when they opened, pleasantly greeted by Channing. I already had my script from a different doc. Channing worked hard to find the 2 for $78 frames I’d found online and had me rung up and out the door in under 20 minutes. I was told the glasses would be ready in 30 mins. Fantastic service! I went to Eyeglass World to get prescription lenses for frames i bought online. I had never bought glasses this way, but wanted to save $$, and decided to take the chance. I'm so glad I did, as I had an EXCELLENT experience at Eyeglass World. They put new lenses on 4 pairs of frames I brought in, including updating lenses in my old RayBan sunglasses. My prescription is complicated (progressives) - these are not just reading glasses- so this required finesse and onsite measurement. I was thrilled with the results - my glasses/new lenses are perfect. Even better - the cost of new lenses for 4 pairs of glasses (one sunglasses) plus the 3 new frames I bought online was the same as what I paid previously for ONE new pair of designer frames/lenses. And my sunglasses were ready the same day! Plus, the entire staff there was awesome - super friendly, helpful, etc. It was a really great experience, and I would recommend Eyeglass World for anyone who wants to just replace lenses on frames they already have, or if you need the full services they offer.
