Given the new health protocols, they did a tremendous job making feel comfortable and safe. Afterwards, Lisa helped me pick the perfect frames for my needs. For over 5 years, my wife and me are seeking optometrists at this location, and we're using Lenscrafters at Fariview Mall for prescription glasses (2 pairs of glasses for each of us). Today, my wife went into the store to try some sunglasses in order to be able to have an idea what she should go with and after a few minutes of waiting at the door (there is a sign that says to wait at the door until you are welcomed) she was greeted by one of the associates that asked if she has a prescription. My wife says that she does not have one for now, she just wants to come in to see and try a few pairs of glasses. She felt unwelcomed, and she asked permission to try something. She took a few minutes, she tried 2 sunglasses and put them on a tray (as she was instructed to). After she asked one of the associates where she can return the tray safely, the associate commented, "o, this is why you came here for?". We are returning customers to this location, but we're looking to take our business somewhere else because this is not the first time we feel like this.

Don't waste your time or insurance getting an eye exam here. They just do a quick 3 minute eye exam and write a prescription. Dr. Ahmed didn't do a thorough exam, dilute my pupils, or run even half the tests my optometrist in Toronto did each year. Such a disappointment since now I have to go to a better optometrist and have a real eye exam done. I asked the Dr about the other tests and he said "they aren't needed". Such a money grab.

If I could give no stars I would. The assistant manager Kelly was awful. I asked if I could buy new lenses and have them put in my frames she barely looked at the frames I had ( which I bought their previously) and said no the frames would break. Okay.... then she gave me a bogus sales line that she’s allowed to give one lucky person a day $50 off the price but can only do it once and nobody’s used it yet. Please save me the b.s. quote came to over $600 with upsells I didn’t want! I have gone somewhere else with far better service, and better frames price etc! Also the place I went pointed out that the glasses from Lens crafters I currently have, are so damaged because of poor quality lenses. Awesome never ever going to Lens crafters again!!

Bought 2 pairs of prescription glasses for over $800, 1 progressive and 1 prescription sunglasses, paying extra fro anti glare and anti scratch. After 1 year the anti glare was coming off, could not see clearly, almost like looking through a haze. I went in, they could do nothing, warranty over. Obviously defective anti glare, I have had glasses all my life this is the first time ever that anti glare had come off just over a year. I am now wearing the glasses I bought 4 years ago from Costco, still anti glare is in good shape. I will never buy from Lens Crafters again! Costco also offers 2 years on anti glare.

I am taking this to the BBB!!!! The staff at the stores are wonderful. Nice selection, they will try and find what you are looking for and they are safe during Covid. The website on the other had is awful!!!!!! When I can sign in, which is rare , there is noting on it. All my favourites are gone, no purchase history and sometimes the site is just down.

I've used Lens Crafter for years. They have a wide variety of frames, friendly staff and the staff are great at recommending frames that fit your face and your style. They provide luxury to budget conscious frames for all genders and lifestyles. Their frames are a bit premium in pricing compared to smaller stores, but for me the convenience and variety are worth it.

I bought a 300$ pair of Oakley Sunglasses at the end of August, a month later I went to the store because a branch was very loose, Lisa Who pretends to be the manager, looked at my glasses and acknowledge there was a defect in them. Lisa told me She was going to call me back the following week but she never did so I called back 10 days later only to be told to wait another week that she would call me back and yes she never did. We are 40 days into this issue and she can only give me reasons why she can’t help me To fix my glasses. They won’t reimburse me, won’t fix them but will exchange them with the same glasses but in a different colour lol!!! do not shop there, good at the cash but simple crooks after your $$$ with ZERO HELP AFTER SALES, YOU ARE ON YOURE OWN! Simply look at the other reviews they all agree to say they have no customer service. LensesCrafters was my first time and last time!

I discovered this place by sheer accident. I broke my glasses frame and went to this store even though I didn't purchase them at this location. The service was super fast and they went above and beyond not only to fix them but also readjusted them for me and gave me some tips to make them more comfortable with my mask. I was extremely pleased with them and had the time to choose a new pair of glass with the variety they offer. Everything was amazing, I highly recommend it!

I came to this LensCrafters after a very unpleasant experience at the Lime Ridge Mall location. After tonight, I’m more convinced its a systemic problem. I took my glasses in to get adjusted. They were not purchased from LensCrafters and I explained this to the optician (Dave). He proceeded to lecture me on how I should not have purchased glasses from an online retailer. He asked rather invasive questions in a seeming effort to prove that my glasses were somehow inferior but I did my research and shot him down at every point. I explained that I had saved hundreds of dollars and without coverage for vision this was important. He then retorted, “Well you still had to come here to get them adjusted.” Which is true. But he also had to adjust them for free so I’m still coming out ahead. When he did adjust them he used so much force I thought he might be trying to break my glasses on purpose. Fortunately, they seem okay so far. Of the half dozen pairs I’ve ordered online this was the only pair that needed adjusting. If ordering online means avoiding sanctimonious employees then it’s a definite win in my books. Save money and frustration, avoid LensCrafters.

If I could give no stars I would. My Wife dropped in to get some help with a pair of glasses. Granted, they did not come from Lenscrafters. All she needed was for the optician to take 5 minutes out of their time to do a quick measurement of her lens. They absolutely WOULD NOT help. They said because they weren't bought there, they would not help out at all. Great Job Lenscrafters. If they had taken the time, they would have seen that we have purchased many pairs of glasses from them in the past. All my Wife wanted was a quick bit of help but no, it was too much to ask. They may have earned some business if they had helped. My experience with this awful store has been nothing short of horrible. They offer far overpriced product with absolutely garbage customer service. How this franchise or location remains in business is beyond me. We recently dealt with Clearly online and the experience has been night and day. From pricing to fixing a minor issue. Lenscrafters should be wary...the competition is beating you in every aspect of your business. You're a self entitled dinosaur headed for extinction!

Name brands for a reasonable price, plus they send out coupons quite regularly for discounts on frames and lenses, so that is definitely an added bonus. I was promised my new glasses within 10-14 days and they were ready for pickup in 2 days. I only have good words to say about this location. I went stand up paddle boarding the night before and lost my glasses in the water. I have quite a strong strong prescription so needless to say the situation was pretty urgent as I do not have contacts or backup glasses. They were able to fit me in at the last minute to see an eye doctor. They had my prescription in stock and my glasses were ready in 30 minutes. Everyone was so nice and helpful... I just couldn't be more grateful!

I just went in for to browse some prescription sunglasses and found a pair I liked. I double checked the price of the frames on the retailers website and they were exactly the same so that's a big plus on the price. However they said they were having a 40% sale on lenses and my lenses still came out to $212 for the CHEAPEST option. I had to go in later to add the $50 glare protection (tip for anyone getting sunglasses, get it, glasses are unusable without it) which they were happy to help with so that was nice to. Even though the lenses were very expensive, I was annoyed with how frequently the manager asked me if I wanted the protection, which sounds like a pay some now, and more if something happens type plan (i.e. not worth it). Over the course of my two visits where I dealt with the manager she asked me 6 times if I wanted the lens replacement warranty. It came off as pushy and really wasn't appealing. Overall I think the experience was good, but the very high price point was my main negative factor for sure.

All the girl said who served me was that I should buy a better lense or take insurance, do not buy from these people they are all on pressuring you to take the insurance, it’s an inferior product and a big sell game , so disappointed , lesson learned

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Basically waited over an hour to get help because they had measured my dad’s glassed incorrectly at the Limeridge location, which is fine I understand it is busy. But then the lady who does the measurements here came up to us and just asked me if it was a new prescription (which it was) and then proceeded to type away without asking anything else. Then she said she was done and I asked her what it was was that she exactly did because she didn’t even ask us what the issue was in the first place and she freaked out on me saying that she’s busy and that I need to be more straightforward when she was the one approaching customers with close-ended questions and going off solely based on those answers. My bad for assuming you would know how to simply ask “how can I help you” instead of just coming up to us and saying “new prescription?” and then absolutely nothing else. Not even sure what she was doing on the computer for so long because if you just looked up out file, the glasses and the prescription were already there as the lady before her showed it to us but she could not help us because she doesn’t do measurements. So then she took my dad’s measurements and at this point she started blaming his posture for the incorrect measurements which is incredibly disrespectful. How can you speak to a customer like that first of all and second of all is it not you job to ensure that it’s measured correctly? Absolutely no need to comment on other people’s posture and blame them for issues on your end.

I unfortunately made a bad decision to purchase lenses through LensCrafters. I have had many many pairs of glasses over the years and the quality of these lenses are very poor in comparison to lenses purchaed elsewhere. In the past, I have dropped, stepped on, and accidentally scraped them on pavement and they have always fared very well. Due to time issues, I had to purchase my last pair of glasses through LensCrafters rather that go to my usual trusted eye glass store. Big mistake. I have had these glasses for less than 5 months and the lenses are scratched so badly that I cannot see out of them any longer. They are also impossible to clean as they seem to have a permanant film/haze of them. Admittedly, they were dropped. Dropped on the grass/turf...not concrete or asphalt. I firmly believe that the coatings of the lenses produced in-house are of such sub-par quality and are not made to withstand the slightest touch or normal every day wear and tear. They make them this way so that you purchase the add-on insurance (instead of just focusing on making a quality product) The frames themselves were in nearly new condition and showed no signs of abuse. I did not purchase the "extra" insurance as I felt I should not have to if a they produce a quality product. I have always had it included in the price when I purchased at Costco. To me it means a company stands by their product when they include it. Costco has never even questioned when I have brought my lenses into be replaced. They simply replaced the lenses with no questions asked. I will be bringing in my glasses to Costco from now on as it is way cheaper to just have the lenses replaced there than it is to have them replaced at LensCrafters. LensCrafters may be fast but they simply do not measure up when it comes to quality. Fast doesn't equal better in my experience. Take the extra time and have your glasses produced elsewhere as it is clearly not worth aggravation when having to deal with them.

I had a really racist experience at LensCrafters in fairview mall in Kitchener, ON. I came to the store with two friends (we are all hispanic), we were watching some frames we were interested in. One of the staff was sort of helpfull, nevertheless we noticed that she was only keeping us distracted while the other one called a security guy to follow us while in thw store. She assumed that for being latinos we were trying to shoplifting? I will formaly complain for what I am sure was a racist act.

Pros: Friendly and professional staff along with a generous return policy. Cons: Despite selling high-end glasses, LensCrafters stocks and sells Chinese imports as opposed to proper Italian imports. The prices are way too high and it's standard practice to sell used frames/display frames over new frames. After I instructed the store to order new frames -- to not use display frames -- they did the opposite and actually sold me a set of old display frames, frames which hundreds of people had tried on, and charged me over $500. Needless to say, these were returned after discovering that they were made in China and recycled from the store shelf. $500 for used/display frames is totally unacceptable. Customer beware: LensCrafters is part of the Luxottica monopoly, along with Pearle Vision, Sunglass Hut and others. Furthermore, almost all of the brands they stock they also own or license. This includes Ray-Ban, Brooks Brothers, Oakley, Burberry, Prada, Chanel, Versace and others. As mentioned above, LensCrafters in particular relies mainly on cheap Chinese imports over authentic Italian frames to support their margins and returns policy. Imagine paying $400 for Oliver Peoples glasses only to find out they were mass-produced in some third-rate Chinese factory! It's also the store's standard practice to sell customers used/display frames.

after getting an appointment for à follow up (I was told it would be free when given the appointment) they wanted to charge me again (the excuse was it was a different optometrist) and of course the took my médicare card upon arrival. which means they are getting paid by the government even if I left without the follow up for my eye. My husband and I went I to the Fairview Mall location today to each buy new glasses and was assisted by Mariam. She was very professional...polite and definitely customer focused. She explained about the different lenses and helped my husband choose transition lenses which worked out better for him than buying a separate pair of sunglasses. The thing I love about LensCrafters and the reason we always go back...is that the staff never try to upsell you on any product. I am in the market for new glasses and decided to do some shopping for frames. The scenario was empty store, no other customers. Now I have a habit of speaking slowly and chose my words deliberately. And I found I could not even finish a sentence without the staff jumping in on my thoughts mid sentence and I spent the entire time reeling the staff member back and trying to describe what I was looking for. If I could give negative stars, I would. I smashed my last pair of glasses from them at work. Went in, in mid March to pick out and get my prescription into a new pair I picked out. Picked a pair I liked, but was scolded as to their Covid procedures and not explained them... then of course was told by prescription glasses would be ready in six days. After a month of no word I called them and was told, don't call us, we'll call you... so I waited another month and called. Same response..don't call us we'll call you... Waited another month and called... APPARENTLY the place filling the prescription lost mu glasses. The manager wanted to know if I still wanted them... I replied... YES OF COURSE..I DRIVE TRUCK FOR A LIVING AS I EXPLAINED EHEN I FILLED THEM...AND IM USING AN OLDER PERSCRIPTION...no cares truly given, and no true resolve except the offer to drive to guelph (Apparantly) to get my same glasses with the perscription filled....September sixth I get the call my glasses are finally ready! Amazing customer service... 7 months to get glasses to the customer.. so much for same day service like when they started. I am taking my future business elsewhere and recommend everyone do the same... you can only feed a man garbage and smile and say it's good garbage for so long... my purchase was a $500 pair of Ray Bans... so not a $20 I don't care purchase... sickening what these places get away with and use Covid19 as an excuse for incompetence.

Buyer beware: you're not in good hands at Lens Crafters' Fairview branch. After spending $500 on a new pair of glasses to use for distance and on the road, I came home to discover that the technicians had scratched my everyday glasses -- a perfectly good set of lenses that I use to read and on the computer. I called about the gouge they'd left behind after checking the original prescription and "cleaning" the lenses, and I was told I'd need to speak to a manager who wasn't available. Upon returning to the store, we were informed the manager was on vacation, and it would be a few days before they could decide on a solution for the glasses they'd damaged. After a week, I was told they would replace the lenses with a different pair for free, or I could pay $225 to get the exact same prescription and type remade -- even though they'd acknowledged that they'd wrecked them. After already having given these guys five hundred bucks for a new pair, I wasn't about to pay for them to fix the old pair they'd effectively ruined. I took the free option, after being told that it lacked the features the original had, and that the antiglare "hardly made a difference at all" and that they'd be fine. Guess what? They're not. I can't see a thing out of them because all I can see are the reflections made by my own irises. This place is a scam. Go to Greiche & Scaff instead. Honestly, go literally anyplace else, and don't entrust your existing lenses to these idiots because they're out to extort as much as they can from unsuspecting, unwitting customers who've offered entirely too much confidence in their service and professionalism.

Spent over $1000 on glasses. Had a defect on 1 arm, went back to have them fix it a 2nd time only to have them say I have no insurance. The 1st time they did it but after a year they refuse to repair the exact same defect. I am about 4 days over a year. Insurance on glasses! !!!! How about backing your products. Too many eye wear stores. They saved on a nickel and now lost a dollar. P.S. Rude staff too.

This store is by far the best Lensecrafters in Montreal. I had visited and called others closer to my home and received poor service or been completly ignored (Fairview Pointe Claire). I usually hate in person shopping for anything but she was lovely, not pushy and helped me with the million questions I had. She didn’t force me to try brands I wasn’t interested in or annoyingly attentive (we all know the type). She was just perfect! If you are ever going in after an eye appointment or have questions I recommend speaking to her. I left very happy and I’m not sure if it’s just the lack of in person contact from Covid restrictions but I actually had fun chatting and picking out glasses. Who would have thought. Called to make 2 appointments for an eye exam and buy at least 2 pairs of glasses. I was told to call back in 30 minutes because the receptionist was having her lunch....!!! Never Use ANY LENS CRAFTERS! When i bought my glasses sadly from this location they TRIED to SLAP on multiple useless "add-on" even though my prescription were minor and not NEEDED without telling me. While in the shop they would consistently tell me that my insurance would do a direct bill meaning i would not have to pay a single penny in store. Which is a FULL FLAT LIE! (sun life, Manulife) <--- i even told them , i couldn't be the ONLY one with the 2 MAJOR company to walk in.

I want to start off on a positive note that I had a great experience at this location when I had Sue whom is very good at picking out the best Frames for my face even with my mask on and it works very well looking at myself and everybody compliments me with these frames. She was also very good at not recommending things to make a big buck for herself, but recommended things that would help me in my particular situation, and didn’t dupe me to have the highest priced progressives that I could get just by her trying to make a good sale. I am very happy with all of her recommendations, and for the very little amount of time that I did spend with a gentleman there that fit me in these glasses I thought the customer service was amazing. These are the reasons I gave the extra star, but I wish I could’ve given another one just the fact is this next part made me lower it considerably. Now I understand that the glasses come with the brand of cloth in it, and I must say that Coach has the worst cloth ever! I am not new to glasses, and inquired on what has changed since 2013 when I had LASIK as these ones smudge bad and nothing makes them clear unless I’m home over a sink with soap. Lens cleaner smears the smudges and the useless wipe it came with smudges it too. I don’t have a kitchen sink in my car to constantly clean them while working, or an adequate cloth. I asked the lady if there’s anywhere online that I could purchase good cloths that I can have with me and all she could say is to use Dawn dish soap, I had her also say that it’s because I got a glare protection on there and that generally smudges, I won’t disagree with that but that I’ve had on every glasses in the past and never had this issue with smudges not coming off with even the basic microfibre cloth. I express that I feel like I was ripped off for these $500 plus glasses, without any options given to me to help with the situation so I can actually wear them. Now I do love the fact that the right type of glasses were given to me, but somebody there needs to step up to the game and help me figure out what I need to do so I can see clearly, when especially I got progressives when I don’t have any distance issues so I could be able to not touch them when I’m caring for people during this pandemic. I want to use you again due to the first two amazing employees, but I need somebody to rectify this issue.

She explained every step of the process, showed me pictures of my eyes, explained why my prescription was what it was. She then dilated my eyes and talked me through that as well. Yelena was very patient and extremely helpful. I was returning a pair of glasses that unfortunately had a glare that I couldn't put up with. I came in very nervous and anxious. My son was there with me which added to my nervousness but Yelena was very kind with him as well which put me at ease. She explained all my options very clearly, we tried several different solutions but ultimately with my son there I began to feel like I should just cut my loses and ask for a refund. Yelena was able to negotiate with her supervisor on my behalf and in the end I was able to get the glasses which I wanted at no extra cost. I was about to leave frustrated and discouraged but because of Yelena and her supervisor I left feeling taken care of and excited for my new glasses. I have never left a negative google review before. The service in Lens crafters in Fairview shopping mall was so bad I have ended up leaving my first negative review. Briefly, I was sold some blue filter type of lenses (I did not want) for my 6-year-old son; I was told that the cost was covered by the RAMQ. Total cost $306. I get home and google the RAMQ eyeglasses and contact lenses for children. In black and white, the website states it covers a max of $250. In addition, the website states Blue light blocking glasses are not covered. With this information, I quickly called the store and asked them to make the glasses but without the blue filter and I will get a refund when I collect. The woman on the phone was very rude and said it is only $40 why change the order. On collection day (10 later, no idea why it took so long), they refused to refund the cost of the blue filter. On the bill, the manager had written that the blue filter is covered by the RAMQ so the lenses without the blue filter was the same price. I do not like to be lied too. Do yourself a favor take your business elsewhere?

I needed an eye exam and new glasses and walked in at 10:45am. Carolyn was my service provider and helped me out quickly. She asked if i had a new prescription and told her I was waiting for Dr. Johal's practice (next door) to open to book an appointment. She told me she could do that for me and got an appointment for 11:15! When I got back from the optometrist she was there to help me with my prescription and order. Carolyn was friendly and I was done in about 15 minutes complete with electronic posting to my help provider. I highly recommend them!

I went to lens crafters to get my glasses and sunglasses adjusted in the evening of May 4th and I was blown away by the service I received! A gentleman helped me out and proceeded to help me specifically adjust my sunglasses -which I had received mediocre help from lens crafters before where they would tell me the fit was fine, when it clearly wasn't ( it would sit on my head with a slant). I am writing a 2 because it depends what you get, some staff just lies to you and other are great. The last person who measured for the centre of my eyes did not get it right, but the person before got it 100% 2 years earlier. The first one was fantastic, the glasses fit perfect. 2 months later I went back and I had part of the Ray-Ban sticker on the lens and the clerk said no, I was disappointed and starting shopping. The I saw the fellow who served me and asked, he said no problem, he took my glasses cleaned then put on a new sticker then made sure my frame was a 100% fit and re-adjusted it at no charge, wow 10 stars, the other three I would say 1 or 2

The staff at LensCrafters Eastgate Square helped me find the right replacement glasses. Horrible service. I went in here after seeing the optometrist next door and was sadden by the way the staff treated me. I decided to see how they truly treated their customers and told the lady at the front desk that I was looking for new glasses and was on Ontario works (meanwhile I'm a student and have great coverage through my student plan). The staff treated me like crap. She brought me to a wall and then pretty much walked away. Asked a few questions which I didn't get an answer to. I was fully prepared to walk out with a pair of glasses until I was treated poorly. Instead I went elsewhere and was treated like a human being and they got the sale. Same circumstances I told the other place I was on OW and they didn't dismiss me or treat me poorly, instead they spent time with me to figure out the best affordable pair. When we went back to the counter the lady said she would have to get in touch with my worker for approval which is when I told them what I had just done and how it had blown up at your store. Moral of the story is even if someone is on Welfare don't treat them like crap! Your company lost out on a $600 sale because the sales staff were rude and judgemental.

I went in a year ago for eye exam paid 70.00 +tax, ordered glasses and gave a deposit. It took me a long time to go get my glasses so they sent them back, which I understand. What I don't understand is in all that time I never received one call from anyone there to remind me, or to tell me my glasses would be sent back. I told them that and I was called a liar! They proceeded to tell me they always call in these cases, they never called, not once! So I lost my deposit! Was treated horribly by staff, having them roll their eyes as though I was crazy, no apologies from any of them. Don't go there!!!! One star is one too many.

This store has all the brands and there are great options to choose from. One of the best Optometrists I have ever been to. Me and my husband got 3 pairs of glasses from them in a very reasonable price. We got assistance from very wonderful staff especially Jody and Kelly. We visited the store twice to make a purchase and both times we visited during closing hours but we were never asked to rush. They made us take our time during our purchase and made it one of the greatest experience that I can ever imagine. I had to call LensCrafters for an emergency eye appointment because my glasses were damaged beyond repair on a holiday. The store and doctor that had my prescription did not pick up the phone when I tried to call them the next day. And of course during this pandemic I wasn't sure I would get an appointment right away, but LensCrafters picked up and fit me in right after I was finished work. I was able to get a prescription filled and purchase a pair of glasses. Sue even gave me a discount on both pairs, the ones with all the bells and whistles and my lenses in an hour. I now can see when I do my job until my good ones come. Everyone there were very helpful and kind. I also felt very safe entering the store during this pandemic.

I bought 3 glasses for a hefty amount at this store. They never bothered telling me that the treatment on my expansive progressive lenses was botched and never offered to replace these lenses. Silly me - never realized why this lenses take forever to clean...When a specialist told me (after more than 2 years of wearing this glasses) what happened - they refuse to own up and compensate/replace the lenses. If being royally screwed over is your thing - this is your store. Otherwise - stay away!!! I see that LensCrafters added a BS answer. I spoke with the people at the store, spoke with the manager - they are not willing to do one thing. Stay clear from this store. Heard this from other people once I told my story.

You wait at least 5 minutes at the door till they come to see you and they allow only 2 people in store to maximize number of customers inside. I wasn't able to choose my daughter's eyes glasses with her and her mother. Finally when the deal is finalized they allowed me in. I went here with my girlfriend to get her some frames because we thought we would try out a different store. Everything looked very nice until the sales lady came and helped us. Their customer service was very poor . Both employees we talked to were very pushy and didn't take time to hear what we wanted. We picked up a pair of of frames that she liked and they straight up told her she couldn't afford them. ( we have kids that we just dropped at school and she didn't have time to do her hair and it was still early) so they profiled us thinking that we don't have money. This made the entire experience uncomfortable and regrettable.

We ordered prescription sports glasses for kids from this location and had them ready by the next day for the big game! It took a little bit for my kid to feel comfortable with them, but they work really well. I would recommend this location as well as a purchase of sports glasses for all kids to protect their eyes! Second LensCrafters I went, but the service was slightly better. The glasses I got was of very poor quality. Firstly, they gave me a broken case (right size for the frame), I returned it and they gave me a "new" one. The case was slightly damaged and it was a lot bigger. I went back again and asked if they could give me the right size and they claimed they were all big. I explained the first case I had was the right size, but the second one was too big. They refused. Secondly, the frame I had was missing some paint and it looked used. They re-ordered and when I went to pick them up, the employees didn't know what I was talking about because the manager didn't leave a note or talked to his colleagues. I noticed, one of the temple of the frame was extremely loose and I asked if the employee could adjust both equally and he said you can always go to another store and they will adjust it to you for free. It was not a pleasant experience, I do not recommend LensCrafters.

Re; Lenscrafter Store - Kingston 922, sales person Suhua 534280 - VERY competent, VERY efficient. I went in for a new pair of glasses with a new prescription. I wanted everything the same as the current pair -- same frames, same type of lenses, same types of addons (glare, scratch resistant, etc) same 1` year add on insurance. The requested frames were not in the store but she 'found' them somewhere, copied the new prescription from my last order that had all the measurements and I was out of the store in no time. No hesitation -- just processed the order in a very competent manner as I instructed. (Note - I have yet to receive the glasses as it will take 10 days to 2 weeks)

For my previous pair I had to start wearing progressives and wear my glasses all the time. I was not optimistic they would work out, but the staff was excellent in getting the right type of lenses for me and after 2 years I couldn’t imagine anything else. When my prescription recently changed I had a hard time finding another comfortable frame. After returning 2 pairs, the staff went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with my frames. So I'm surprised to see this many negative reviews. I bought a pair of glasses two years ago at the very least. The pair began to feel its age and when I went and asked for a replacement they gave me one free of charge! Just today I went back to get them adjusted and the service was free once again! Took them 15-20 minutes to take care of the issue. I did wait, but provided the service was free, I didn't mind. When I was served, after waiting maybe 10 minutes, the gentleman doing the fitting was very quick in serving me and made sure I was happy with the end result. The young women at the counter were also very polite in answering my questions and putting in my order for lenses. Good services and frames can be very inexpensive which is a plus. - Peter S.

Went to purchase a new pair of glasses after getting an eye exam. Receptionist who served me only cared about making the bottom line bigger for the store. There was a promo on Ray-Ban glasses, so when I selected a pair and asked her about the promo, she began quoting me prices without telling me what I would be getting as extras within. Final quote was $440. When I asked about what's included , she said "everything, don't worry" I walked out and ended up buying my glasses at Lenscrafters in rockland mall. Turns out that she added options and a wrranty without asking me as I compared the price I paid at the other store vs. what she quoted me. If i could give zero starts I would.

If I had a choice to use no star, I'd like to use it. And from the other similar reviews, I maybe a victim of racial discrimination. I was there browsing frames with my wife and baby. And the lady there told me I can not browse any frames without a prescription with me. I told her I have a prescription that is 6 months old. She repeats the same message again and again. I said ok I'm heading out. She said I was using religious word to swear and called security. I have never seen any store so eager to walk customers out of their store. I have my wife and daughter there too. This place is not professional at all and the clerk is very rude. Please make sure you have a prescription before you browse any frames. Otherwise the lady there will repeat again and again, asking you to step out of the store ! I filed a complaint to the mall. And hope this won't happen to the other shoppers. And the security staff is very professional at the mall, he helped me filed a complaint.

After about 2 months my glasses didn't seem to be quite right. The Lenscrafters staff and the optometry people were very helpful and a new prescription was issued and filled that fixed the problem I was having. This was all done at no charge to me even though the initial 1 month refund/replace period had passed. Very grateful and highly recommend!

Wanted to make a basic eye exam to see if I'm in need of an updated prescription. For a basic eye exam in Ontario the standard fee is $75 plus tax. They attempted to force me to accept a comprehensive eye exam at a price of $145 only after asking me my employment status and finding out I'm currently unemployed. Terrible people attempting to extort money out of those less fortunate. Shame

Excellent service! I went there last week to have my favorite sunglasses repaired. I was willing to pay for the repair and the gentleman who was there that morning did an excellent job and did not even charge me. From now on, I will only go to Lenscrafters at Fairview Pointe Claire for my prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses because I know when I need their help, they are there for me. I have been making glasses since 2013. I must say the service varies a lot depending on who is dealing with you. It's never the same. One thing I don't understand when selling lenses they say it's scratch proof and after a year when you see severe scratches due to normal wear and ask, they all say the same thing "nothing is scratch proof". Then why say this when selling glasses. Also, new frames come really late at the Fairview store. So far didn't manage to get the pair that I liked online as they don't have it in the store. Cannot be coincidence everytime. They used to take time to make the proper fit when picking up which wasn't the case this time. Sometimes those little things go long way.
