The place was very clean and neat. They had great customer serivce and they were very welcoming. Lots of different glass designs were available and the store owner was willing to spend alot of time with us to help us choose the perfect pair of glasses that suited us. I had a very good experience with them. I had to change my prescription on my glasses and they did a great job. Every other place I called told me "if you bring your own frames it's at your risk" which I hated, but not these guys and that is because they are professionals and know what they are doing. My hubby (Steve) got prescription sunglasses and glasses from here. Loved the service, so very friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to listen to his circumstances and have them rushed. Great selection. They also mentioned to him that they actually coat both sides of the lens with the protectant and that most places will only do the outside, but charge you for both sides. I will be coming here when it’s time for me to get my glasses.

If you're looking for a huge selection of frames at great prices with friendly and knowledgeable staff, this is your place. After going to multiple optical stores around cambridge I decided to check this place out due to its glowing reviews. I was greeted with a friendly hello and I was able to try out a selection of glasses without being bombarded with sales staff. When I was asked if I needed help, Prem asked what I was looking for and was honest with me about whether certain frames looked good on me or not. I was there for about an hour and a half trying on different frames and he never got impatient or tired of me. He was pulling out frames from the back and even new stock that hadnt hit the shelves yet. He was incredibly helpful, determined to find my perfect pair and was such a joy to work with. I truly enjoyed my experience and even ended up buying two frames. He works with you and is able to give great deals as well. Check this place out, I promise you will not be disappointed.

I took In a pair of vintage sunglasses that I needed a custom pair of lenses made for. Lens & Frames Optical went above and beyond. The customer service from both the optometrist I saw and the receptionist was warm and inviting as soon as I entered the store. We went over a few different choices when it came to the lens colour and darkness and was able to pick out the perfect colour for the frame. Just over a week later I was able to pick up my shades! The cost for my request to have custom lenses made was also very reasonable. I certainly will be bringing any other frames I need new lenses for to this business in the future! Just picked up 3 pairs of glasses last week and had a fantastic experience. The team was happy to hold the frames that I liked for a couple weeks while I sorted out a benefits coverage complication, and even helped me sort out my complicated direct billing when it probably would have been easier to just ask me to pay upfront and submit a claim. Glasses were ready quickly too. With three pairs, I probably won't need to return super soon, but when I do, I'll be a returning customer.

In the midst of the pandemic I was helpless as my glasses frames were broken and I had to use a headband to avoid my glasses from falling off my face. I had no more contacts and my own eye doctor and usual place of business we’re unable to assist at all. Most places were completely booked, and others didn't have appointments until February! The Optician was very thorough and quick, he was honest and gave great advice . The prices are more reasonable than the big box stores that people tend to go to. During the COVID-19 times, they practice safe distancing and keep everything sterilized, so I never once felt uncomfortable trying on frames that have been tried on customers prior to myself. Probably the best customer service I've experienced at any store or establishment. I did quite a lot of research (15-20 different optical store visits in the KW area alone) and Lens & Frame Optical's prices were not just competitive, but simply better than the rest. Prem was very accommodating to my parents and I and quite willingly answered all the questions I sent him over a period of several weeks before spending a single penny, even ordering in samples/prototypes to his store for me to physically observe the latest technology. We got fantastic deals on our glasses and the followup adjustments after to ensure our satisfaction greatly exceeded my expectations.

Very knowledge staff; my eye examination was very educational and professional and when I returned to pick out frames I felt like I was top priority and was welcomed to spend as much time as needed to make sure I made the right choice. I started coming here during the beginning of the pandemic in March of 2020, my last pair of glasses had broke and they were thankfully the only place open and he got my new pair by the end of the week. This year I decided to get contacts and when I came in to practice how to put them on he waited patiently the whole 45 minutes it took me to put in the first side. As a new resident to Cambridge, I had no idea where to go to get my eyes checked and to order contacts. The first place I went was horrible and then I found Lens & Frames. I cannot stay enough good things about Lens and Frames. Prem is amazing, as is all his staff. All my questions were answered so professionally but with a personal touch. I spoke with Prem over the phone and in person, made my appointment for the same week and was all set. It took a bit to find the right contacts for me but Prem didn't mind and was patient and so helpful in finding the perfect ones. He was able to hold a straight face the many times I had to retry putting my lenses in but with his help, I am getting so much better at it. I work nights often and Prem was able to work around my schedule when so many other places won't even bother. He even emailed instead of called so that he was not waking me up incase I was sleeping. I am so happy. They bill insurance right there on the spot and pass on any discounts they can. I also like that their covid policies are followed and at no time was I ever uncomfortable in the store. If you need your eyes checked, glasses or contacts... you have to check them out!! Thank you Lens & Frames for such an excellent and pleasant experience..

I never thought I could ever have such amazing service getting new glasses. Prem always goes out of his way to make sure my visits there are to my standards. He is exceptionally knowledgeable and answers all my questions with full detail (I am very picky). The receptionist is also extremely friendly, and was understanding of my eye issues when booking my exam. I had to see the optometrist twice, both times she made sure to explain everything to me, and took her time since my eyes have a hard time adjusting. All that being said, EVERYONE at Lens and Frames Optical make the visit worthwhile! I always come out of there happy and satisfied (even if it's just after something as simple as tightening my glasses). I'm happy to be able to say I found the perfect place to go to for all glasses and eye care needs! Highly recommend!

Went here because of the good reviews and I was not disappointed. Prim (owner) went though every pair of frames of the large selection in the store with me and then picked out the ones that fit the best (something I have never had done before at other optical stores.) I had some issues with glare and Prim's customer service correcting the issue was excellent. I Highly recommend Lens & Frames Optical.

Prem David (who appears to run this business), was very professional, friendly and helpful; especially for the "unique" set of glasses/ frames being requested. We were impressed with the options, the information and the timeliness of service. My wife also got a new set of lenses for her sunglasses and they are working out very well. Throughout my years of wearing glasses, I have never been to an establishment that has made the entire process so easy and comfortable. This location is by far the best place I have been to. From the time you enter into the business you are greeted immediately and acknowledged. The owner of the business is so friendly, knowledgeable and inviting. The optical is clean, has a great selection of frames with great prices, and they were very safe following procedures during COVID. All staff are super helpful and friendly and go out of their way to ensure you find something you like. Prem makes sure his customers have all their questions answered and are happy with everything. I was nervous about having to upgrade my prescription from single to progressive lenses and he was very supportive and made sure I had the time I needed to try them on and adjust before leaving. I always have an amazing experience when visiting Lens & Frames and wont be going anywhere else. They truly take care of their customers, and keep your needs in mind. A significant amount of my day can be spent on the computer for work, and they provided me with solutions my other optometrist never did that relieved me of the eye strain I was facing daily.They take Covid very seriously, and the optometrist takes every precaution to make sure you are safe but still getting a quality service and examination. They get in touch with you afterwards as well and make sure you are happy with your glasses, and let you know they are available to make adjustments if needed.
