I've been dealing with this store for many years and I have always been happy with the service, the products and the price. Twice I have had to replace glasses that were accidentally damaged and they were replaced immediately - at no extra charge - because I had purchased the low cost insurance. Because they are in a mall they are often very busy and you can wait a while for service - but it is worth the wait.

Don’t believe in their BUY ONE GET ONE FREE!! It’s very misleading!! I just bought a $500++ the extra everything kids reading glasses from them and ended up not getting the free one and will get you lost with their computations that they only understand. Asking me to pay more to get another pair so I could get the supposedly free one!! What a joke!! Total RIPOFF! Go to SOL Optiks and they will not let you pay a cent if you’re using your insurance already! So very dissatisfied and disappointed with PEARL VISION! Never coming back here!!! At Pearl vision we managed to get both in our budget and a pair she loved. We even took our daughter back here it was so easy and fun! The original appointment was fantastic, Dr. Stout was great and very friendly. However, when I went back after getting information that my prescription was for a farsighted person, when I am nearsighted, I was told I had to wait a week before I could see Dr. Stout and if I wanted to see another doctor I would have to pay another partial fee. I had already gotten glasses with the prescription given and they have not helped in the area they are supposed too. I just wanted someone to check if the (+) was supposed to be a (-) and no one was willing to accommodate that for me. I am highly disappointed, I am now going to be waiting for new lenses on my glasses because of this and I have visited a new eye clinic who has helped to rectify this error. People's eyesight is important and not being willing to review a prescription can cost you customers. Incorrect prescriptions can also worsen someones eyesight, this should be a top priority and customer service/customer care should be more thoroughly practiced.

Been to their coquitlam mall branch more than 10x after purchasing my eyeglasses for adjustments since it irritated side of my ears and cuts my skin off, they don’t want to change my glasses because they said warranty has expired. A day after i purchased my glasses warranty expired already? They told me they will ask their manager to call me to fix the situation but its been over 3wks now manager hasn’t called. Been going here since 2019 based on some recommendations from family on some of their deals. Dealt with Grace and she was fantastic! Was able to snag a pretty good deal/promotion and paid minimal our of pocket for prescription glasses and sunglasses = due to extended benefits from both my wife and I. Fast forward to 2021 (two years later). A lot of people told me i overpaid in 2019 so i decided to shop around. Clearly contacts and lens crafters. Clearly online has some killer deals but the promotions may not be as "good" as pearle vision. My wife and decided to stick with pearle vision and we were helped by Amandeep. She was great! Answered all our questions and her customer service was fantastic. When our glasses arrived, we were helped by Grace on the fitting and she was also extremely helpful, energetic and has great customer service. Pros 1) Customer Service (same people working at this location for years) 2) Good selection of glasses and sunglasses 3) Follow covid-19 protocols and sanitize glasses after each use (when you try on and you put it into a basket) 4) Seasonal promotions Cons 1) Price is higher than other glasses shops 2) No room for price reduction (firm prices) 3) No loyalty program for repeat customers Overall, I recommend this glasses shop. Check them out. Frames are competitive in terms of prices and lenses are expensive. Rate: 5 ????

Stopped by the mall today to see if I can visit an eye glass store to have my glasses repaired, my lens came out of the frame, when I accidentally slept on it. I came upon Pearls Vision, the lady at the front kindly helped me out and I came back in less than half an hour. My glasses was good as new and I asked if there was a charge and she said no. I was surprised as I was prepared to pay for the repair. I would definitely stop at this location again for glasses or repair. I am very thankful. ????

My family have been going to Pearle Vision in Coquitlam centre mall for 20 years and we have always received great service. The most recent one in the past week . Raj and Lilian suggested styles but did not pressure. They listened instead of pushing. My kids and me took advantage of their BOGO promo so we all got prescription sunglasses for our second pair. One thing they promised was we will get the regular lenses that came with our raybans. Which we did. For some reason their lab techs do not return those lenses but they made sure that we got ours back. We paid for them anyway. Another reason why we really like this store was the staff will fix our glasses without any fuss, something that lenscrafters did not do. All of us will continue to go to this store that is guaranteed .

A couple of weeks ago I went in to look at new frames. Chelsea was the optician working at the time and was extremely kind, patient and knowledgable and overall very helpful. She helped me pick out 2 frames that I absolutely love and even stayed a little while after the end of her shift to make sure I was taken care of to the very end. She explained everything very well, offered me extra features on the lenses and made sure I got the best deal. I was about to give up when I decided to try the Sunridge store because I had read good reviews. Jacqui is one smart lady! She knows her stuff when it comes to fitting frames. She was patient and took all the time necessary to get it right and to make sure that I was thoroughly satisfied. You can guess which store gets my business the next time!

Went to the Sunridge location today and had absolutely the worst experience. I finally picked out a pair I liked and I sit and wait, Trina (short woman) takes some other customers, she finally gets back to me and gives me the quote, we go through everything and she gets some other staff involved as she is fairly new. I get the final quote and it's $250 more than the first quote. Now I've been here for over 1 hour. Quote is wrong, the information about the glasses I wanted was entered wrong. Trina is complaining about the way things are done at that store, at this point I'm not only feeling uncomfortable, I'm angry. On top of all this, they tell me that I can't direct bill to my insurer. It was a terrible experience!! Where can I give a no start review!!

To be honest I wasn’t intending on purchasing eyewear here for several reasons but one main reason is feeling like I could purchase eyewear online for a lesser price. I communicated this to the staff and they brought up good points about the pros and cons of buying online and were able to help me find glasses within my price range. They also applied a discount to my purchase which I wasn’t expecting. The glasses came in 2 weeks and they fit great so all in all I’m happy I chose to purchase them in store.

The Gentleman that works here is wonderfull. Very helpfull with out being pushy and has good taste and is able to quickly help you pick out a good set of glasses. The older female on the other hand is for lack of a better term useless and RUDE. Will only pick glasses that suite her style, has screwed up orders multiple times, is impatient and has damaged my personal glasses nearly breaking the arms during adjustment. She has told people waiting patiently that there are more important customers and that she won't be helping them and that they can come back when others aren't there and she doesn't have other things to do and then got mad when she was told complaints would be made.

This was the worst experience ever. I came here twice before and had great experiences however after today, I will not be returning back. I went in for an eye exam...sat in the chair for 5-10 minutes. The doctor did not explain my prescription change or mention I had astigmatism. I had to ask her if my prescription changed and if my vision had gotten worse...as a customer, I should not have to prompt her for this information. She was not engaging nor friendly during the appointment. I really don't understand what I am paying $110 ($60 out of pocket with insurance coverage...thankfully) for when the appointment did not last for more than 10 minutes. When I went to Lenscrafters after my appointment, I had to have one of the workers try to explain my prescription for me since the doctor I had just seen failed to do so. Even the receptionist was not super friendly either. This was the worst customer service experience ever, I left feeling upset, frustrated and irritated with the cost of the appointment and leaving with little to no information/explanation for my eye exam....

Bought sunglasses with 1 yr warranty. Couldn’t exchange because of covid and warranty expired for about a month. Also couldn’t come in when they opened up because I moved out of town and can’t come back often. The frames were faulty to begin with and the lenses would pop out super easily and got worse over time. They didn’t seem to care about the situation and scoffed at the idea of a warranty extension. My whole family used to go here for all of their glasses. Not anymore. Disappointed

I've been a customer at this location for over a decade. I had a few pairs of sunglasses sitting around that needed fixing, one I accidentally sat on and was twisted, the other one was missing a screw. I also brought in my daughter's glasses which were purchased elsewhere (she sat on also). I came for some maintenance on glasses that I had bought here and a staff member damaged them. When I returned to have the damage fixed I was told that it was impossible and that there were no replacement options available to me. The store manager didn't take responsibility for her staff and wouldn't even give a discount on new frames. They ruined my glasses! I came in with designer, brand name eyeglasses that I paid 300$ for and which would have lasted me another year or two. Now I am left with a stained and scratched frame branded by Burberry.

Angela was helpful. Both my husband and I ended up purchasing glasses and sunglasses. I went into pick up my glasses (sunglasses weren't in yet) and Raj adjusted the fit. Ended up picking up my husband's glasses and sunglasses for him (didn't open cases). He came home from work and tried on glasses which fit perfectly. When he opened the sunglass case and took sunglasses out of cloth pouch, the frames wore broken in half! So...seems someone didn't open case to check everything was okay! My husband called store right away and spoke to Raj, who said to bring them back and they would be replaced. Took sunglasses back and Raj was very gracious and apologetic and said he would have new pair of sunglasses within next few days.

Pearl Vision at Coquitlam Center is the best place to go for great glasses and wonderful staff. I have gone there for a few years for my kids and have always been pleased. This fall, I got 2 pair of glasses for myself from them. It turns out the prescription I was given by an Optometrist (not at Pearl Vision) was so out of whack I could not wear the glass. The optometrist said there was nothing wrong and would not change it. I went back to Pearl Vision and told them I didn’t know what to do. THEY refunded me the full purchase price of my glasses and said to come back when I had another eye test. They were not at fault yet made it right. I highly recommend this office to anyone .

Staff was helpful and the prices are pretty good (if you can wait until there's a sale). There was no pressure when I asked for a price quote on prescription sunglasses and they even put them on hold for me so I didn't have to worry that they'd be gone. The extra fees for special coatings do seem like a bit of a scam, but if you've got benefits and it doesn't matter so much, their products are good quality and they have great brands.

I'd give them less if I could. I got my first progressive glasses there for $700 - lenses and frames about a year ago. The first set of lenses I could not use and returned to them. Was told to "get use " to them so I wore them a little each day to no avail and returned weeks later. They up sold me to lower index $200 - same issue. I returned several times - at one point the manager put rubber bits on them so they raised so I could read - but then I could not see to drive or walk or...just terrible for $900. Then on another visit, they bent the frames to fit - which was a little better but I could not see far or close - just bad all around. Went back really unhappy and was told I was over the warranty. Went back to the optician last week and my eyes have not changes and spoke of this terrible experience. She said Pearl should have fixed the problem by going with bifocals at least. Just an terrible service team at Pearl, and I got totally ripped off.

I came in to your location a month ago with my daughter we waited and waited for service, a lady walked in after us and received instant service where as we had to ask. Then reluctantly we were served and all I wanted was our glasses which were purchased by your firm to be tightened, the man in your employ rudely asked if we had bought them from you as if he expected to hear an answer to the contrary, and even went as far as to tell us that our glasses weren't on your shelves which is a clear accusation that we are lying, defamation of character mean anything to you?. We replied YES, after all that humiliation he didn't even bother to check on you're system (what!!!), he then asked us what we wanted? Then asked where we wanted them tightened? again (what!!!) I would assume that a professional working for a so called reputable company would ask us to put on the glasses and see where adjustments needed to be made according to where they hang but, NO this is not the logical approach your staff take. I have to ask myself is it in the training WHERE THE FAILURE OCCURS? Probably!!! Or is it another issue your staff member is suffering from?. In either case I am mortified that in this day and age and with this amount of competition in the industry I would EXPECT much better customer service. As a result of this experience I can firmly guarantee that I will never do business with you again. Good day.

They let me try as many frames on until I found a pair that suited me (this included my GF grabbing many different frames to give me her opinion as well XD).
