Customer service in this shop is very good had good help from Anne, Rabbi, and Stacy They have done everything that they could to help me get use to wearing Progressive Glasses for the first time. Sadly though they are not working out for me and can't get use to them and looks like I will be returning them they tell me to give it time to get use to it. But sadly I don't have that kind of time to play around with them. I am very disappointed with the Progressive glasses as they are not what I expected them to be.

Ordered a prescription sunglass on November 6th. Everything went very smooth. Selection of frame , lens and direct billing to insurance. I selected one of the two lenses offered. I was told glasses should be ready in 2 weeks. 2 weeks passed no update. When enquired they said it’s delayed. Did not know when it will be delivered. Finally on Dec 6 th their manager tells me they can’t deliver as lens is back ordered. So now they gave me a choice to select another color lens or cancel. So i have cancelled. My insurance will get refund in 4 weeks. Then i can restart my search for glasses from another vendor. I found the whole follow up and customer relations really lacking. They just dont care or simply do not have resources to perform professionally. This was at the market mall Calgary location. My family wont be doing anymore business with them. Edit : Jan 11, 2022. I am still waiting for Lenscrafters to mail in chq for refund to my insurance. Initially i was told , request has been sent on Dec 7th 2021 itself. Now when I called in again last week , i am being told the chq will get generated this week ie week of Jan 10 - 14 of 2022. The customer service is even worse. They asked me to create a ticket. After a week they responded I need to talk to the store Manager!!!! and on top of it the customer service addresses me as Maria!!! So I got my eyes tested on Nov 6th 2021 and am still waiting for glasses for which I already paid!!!

I went to Lenscrafters to get an estimate in regards to my glasses verified due to the fact that there was a crack in the lenses. Jessica helped me to start with and was most welcoming and courteous. She got the problem fixed in a glance and took care of the situation...on top of that she cleaned my lenses, provided me with a new case for my glasses and was just a ray of light in my day. Then, i needed to get an estimate in regards to a new pair and a wonderful lady in the name of Pamela gave me a hand. She was so helpful regarding the choosing of the frames...gave me her points of view as I asked her and was so professional. She then documented everything in order to avoid me having to go into the store..... just an amazing team! They were definitely, all combined together...the sunshine I needed in my day. I’ve bought a few pairs of glasses over the last few years at this location and continue to be exceedingly satisfied with the service provided. Most recently I have been in to have a new pair of progressives fit to fine tune the vision fields. Very thorough to determine where my problem areas were. Double checked the prescription to ensure it was correct. Adjusted frames fit a few times. Measured the fields to ensure placement was correct. They determined what the problem appeared to be and made a decision to relocate the vision fields in the lenses which requires new lenses be ordered. To me this is incredible in this day and age of poor customer service. They could have made frame adjustments, called it good and sent me on my way but they didn’t. The ladies that helped me out were super friendly, professional and thorough. Anne and Gisselle (I hope the names are right) thanks for being the best at what you do.

I was a potential client for LensCrafters but they did not carry the product I needed to suit my needs. It was appalling to see the poor service from the management as soon as they found out my business would be taken elsewhere. I would not recommend this service to anyone. However I will say that the sales associates were clearly trying their best to help.

I like the measures they are taking to limit the amount of people in the store, but when it came time for my daughter to pick up her glasses, there was myself and my daughter in line along with another woman, and nobody in the store but 2 sales people. They refused to let us and the other woman in the store, the other woman was picking up glasses also. The sales person gave my daughter her glasses and said try them on, didn't bother to check if the frames sat where they needed to behind the ears, nothing. My daughter said that they were loose, so much so that the frames pressed right up against her forehead in order to stop from falling off her face. The sales clerk said, oh that's how they are supposed to sit. I said no they aren't, clearly they are loose, you see that they are loose, she can't look down without the glasses falling off her face. The hesitation from the sales staff was because she didn't want contact with the glasses after my daughter had them on her face, she didn't want to check to make sure they actually fit my daughter. We were both wearing masks and so was the sales person. I expect that when a customer pays a high penny for their glasses, regardless if there is a virus going around, that the job is done 100%, if you're afraid why the hell are you working in customer service! This is your job, you let people try on glasses and spend so much time with them at your desks taking down insurance info, etc., but when it comes time to ensuring that the product we purchase fits, you want nothing to do with the customers. It's a quick hand off. I witnessed it when we were in there trying on glasses, we experienced it and so did the woman that picked up her glasses at the same time as us.

The staff and management at this Lenscrafters, by far, provides the best customer service I have experienced. They will go above and beyond to provide the best service possible to ensure that you are satisfied with your purchase. I highly recommend this location if you're in the market for prescription glasses or sunglasses.

The employees were not very helpful, gave unhelpful answers to my questions and seemed more interested in getting me out of there as fast as possible. My glasses were not well fitted, they sit crooked and were not adjusted on the right position on my face. They did not check the prescription to ensure it’s good, didn’t offer a mirror and were very brief with me. I was going to buy something more but the lady cut our interaction short very quickly. Will have to go back to readjust, likely to a different store.

Hoping on the 3rd time around I dont get my sunglasses frame scratched all over like a second hand... I am so disappointed...i got a phone call from lenscrafters that my sunglasses is ready for pick up that was february 7 then they said that my item has scatches on it but just a minor so they asked me if i am willing to wait for a week. I decided to do that because who want to use sunglasses with scratches on it. The following week(february 14) i recieved an email regarding my sunglasses so i went to the store and picked it up. While still on the mall i looked at it again and noticed that my frame has a lot of scratches on it so I went back and talk to their staff about it and they said theyre going to order a new one...

You will get much better service when the manager is not here. The manager always look like they are mad at somebody and not very good at adjusting glasses. We got a new pair of progressive and the reading part is way too low for our Asian eyes. Keep trying to explain that to the staff who is adjusting our glasses (who we later found out is the manager) and the staff do not understand it, or should I say, do not want to understand. They just think that we are not used to the progressive lens, we tried to explain to them that we have been wearing progessive lenses for many many years and we know what it should look like, we even show them our old glasses which is already in progressive lenes. But the staff did not like our response and stressed us to take it home and try it out, their mind is set that we do not understand how progressive should work. We went back a couple days later because the glasses is truly not working. This time an Asian staff helped us and they fully understand what we are talking about. The staff understand what we mean by "reading part was set way too low" and was nice enough to send the lens back for adjustment and now the glasses works great (it has to do with our Asian nose and facial features). When we went back to pick up the glasses, we saw another customer (next Asian) with the manager trying to fix their progressive lenses as well, the customer was there for half an hour but still not very satisfy. Overall, I think that the staff is much more understanding and know what they are doing than the manager.

We have used LensCrafters for many years, particularly for our children's glasses. The staff are always pleased to help and aren't satisfied until you are. Just today, I've used LensCrafters for my own frames and lenses (for the first time). I was pleasantly greeted immediately and given instructions on browsing the frames section. Once I selected my frames I was working with a LensCrafters technician within minutes and was in and out of the store in less than 30 minutes! Great service. Great products.

Very poor customer service, microagressions and possible race-based bias. This is the worst experience I have ever had buying glasses. I was treated poorly by staff, who started by repeatedly questioning me as to whether I had a prescription (as if I would not know). They were curt when addressing me and seemed to not want to serve me. The worst was when I returned the glasses I did not want, I was met with no response and a turned back. It would not have been so bad, but I was able to see them treat White customers with care and helpfulness while I was in the store. When my husband came to the store to meet me, he gave the same lady a tray of glasses back and she politely thanked him. He is a different race from me. It was so shocking! The staff need customer service training and unconscious bias/Diversity, Equity and Inclusion training right away! Avoid if you are Black for sure!

Would not recommend purchased a pair of eyeglasses less than two months ago and one of the lenses fell out due to a screw not being tightened enough. Now they want me to pay full price out of pocket and I have to pay to replace both lenses. And on top of all of this I was spoken to very rudely on the phone when I called about this issue. Normally I try to keep my reviews positive but there is something a bit off about this location. There is one employee that works there that altho seemingly polite on the surface is quite abrupt and one gets the feeling beneath has a bit of a bad attitude. You can't actually call them out on it because the rudeness is not overt but any normal person can feel it. Overall I got the glasses I wanted and the pricing was fair but will not be returning to this location again. I walked away feeling like I was a bit walked over and my business taken for granted. I suppose every store has that one or two people that work for it that leave a bad taste in a customer's mouth. Maybe because Market Mall is such a busy place the management at this Lenscrafters feels they can ignore the overall vibe it's store has and they are probably right. But I won't be returning.

Bad customer service. I decided to buy my daughters glasses here because of the 50% off promotion for kids glasses. Now I understand why they offer the discount. It’s to make up for the really really bad service. After 2 weeks of waiting for the glasses to arrive I decided to call and was told the glasses arrived damaged and they had to start the reorder process over. Not even a call to let me know that! Then I was told they have no idea when the replacement is arriving. And on top of that not even an apology for the terrible service. This place is ridiculous! I can guarantee that they will never get my business again. I would rather pay the extra money just for the better service elsewhere.

Other optometrists charge the same amount 130$ for both a contact and glasses prescription update with an eye exam. Once your in the exam they tell you it’s an extra 55$ for the contact prescription. Don’t bother getting over charged. I certainly won’t be back.

I have been dealing with this company since July 2020 and ended up returning the glasses after several failed attempts at making them so I could actually see out of them. I went in, got a refund minus my plans $200 and they told me I would get that within a few weeks and its now been over a month and still waiting for them to refund my plan so I can claim my money for my new replacement glasses. I feel like they are very unorganized and do not return phone calls and so I am constantly phoning to see whats going on. It has now been over 5 months that I have been dealing with this issue and I am really not pleased and will never shop at this store ever again. Its unfortunate because initially the employee who helped me was very professional and pleasant to deal with and I gave her a raving review along with LensCrafters but now I want to change it not for the employee but the company in general.

We have always found LensCrafters to be a most helpful and delightful experience. Our old site has now closed, and this was our next closest. We were not disappointed. The assistant Ann was very helpful in helping the three of us select frames and the appropriate lenses and finding the most reasonable price. We will certainly be back.

One of the worst customer experience I have received here every single time I have visited this location. You end up waiting for 20-30 min to see the opticians chat around, laugh and waste time with each other or 2 of them are helping the same customer while you are told to wait without given any indication of how long. The optician that was free totally ignored I even sat there that long and chatted around with everyone in the store. Not visiting this location again!

TERRIBLE! I went there to check their frames but before anything asked them if they work with my insurance. They got my insurance info and checked for me, I didn't buy anything though. Today I found that my insurance paid full coverage amount to them for a 600 dollars claim!! I phoned them for clarification, they told me -very aggressively and rudely- that " they had to submit a claim in order to check if I could use my insurance coverage". So crazyyy!! And they didn't even let me know at that time. This is sure illegal.

May 19th, a careless employee triggered a claim on our health insurance while only asking for an initial quote on a chosen frame and lenses. May 20th, we told them that they should wait for our call back if we will go with frames/lenses or reverse the claim as it takes 4 weeks to complete the process. The next 5 days were just silence from that employee even if we already called them as soon as we saw the claim email from our insurance. May 24th, we went to the store and had an argument with that same employee. Out of frustration I raised my voice for the following reasons: 1. Employee decided to reverse the claim without even calling or consulting us. 2. Employee was unapologetic with an audacious response of "It is not my fault!" 3. Five days of no call back or not even a minute update on what was happening. I am not sure if there was a miscommunication between the store employees but that is beyond my business. May 25th, Stacey and Anne fixed everything as we have decided not to deal with the irresponsible employee anymore. It was a breeze dealing with them. If I had to dwell on the inconvenience from that neglectful employee, I'd probably give them a 5 negative stars. The fact that the issue was handled with so much ease by Stacey and Anne, it gave me so much encouragement to give this store a chance. A single employee boo boo shouldn't ruin the store's quality brand. To the employee who refused to fess up: There's always a million reason for excuses when avoiding responsibility/consequences to your careless, devil-may-care and negligent actions. Only the people who fixed your mistakes are worth-mentioning in this review. Stacey, With the exception of Anne, kindly please provide more customer service training to that employee whom I refuse to mention.

I had a very poor experience at Lens Crafters Market Mall, dealing with possible race based bias and micro-aggressions. Unfortunately, it appears I was treated differently because of unconscious bias and endured micro-aggressions because I am visibly Afro Canadian. Assumptions around unlikelihood to purchase glasses (which I did) may be present. Other customers that were White were treated respect and received polite help and service. When I was addressed the tone was curt and hurried. After my husband joined us in the store, he also noticed the difference in service we were receiving versus White customers. I hope that staff can receive some Diversity, Equity and Inclusion training with a focus on unconscious bias when serving others. I deserve to be treated the same as White customers. I am always polite and I am a paying customer. I did not just leave the store without purchasing, in protest, because my time has value and I really needed to get my glasses ordered. I hope something can be done to improve the customer service experience for all customers, including those that are from minority groups. After I pick up my glasses, I will never be shopping at that location again. It is important that the company invests in this training (if not already being conducted) and hold employees accountable, so that clients are retained.

The ladies that work the front are awful! Can't even bother to say hi to anyone walking in. I've had to walk through their location a few times to get to the eye doctor that's attached to them and they barely acknowledge me. I once had asked for help to find frames that fit my face the best and the lady started going off on prices. That's not what I asked at all. Needless to say their attention to detail or even attention to the store at all; is atrocious. I've decided to buy online because dealing with someone who doesn't even listen to what I'm saying irks me.

Dr. Nhi Phan was amazing. I had issues with dry eyes for almost a year due to having too much Botox for my migraines. I had already seen a specialist at the Foothills hospital. He was extremely dismissive and did not explain anything about having dry eyes or how to treat them. Dr. Phan explained everything I needed to know, including pictures of my eyes and diagrams. She was so thorough that I completely understood how to move forward and be able to take care of my Dry Eyes so that I wouldn’t have permanent damage. I will only see her for anything eye related moving forward. She really cares about her patients and the health of their eyes.

I regreted getting their service after I had get my appointment on the phone.Looks like the workers of lenscrafters forgot they get their paycheck and pay their bills because of the customers.The tallest worker was so rude and absolutely incompetent. My family and relatives will not be using their service never. Never again. Great news I find Vision Optical which is the best eyewear place in Calgary and got there 3 pairs of glasses. So lenscrafters, good luck dusting your shelves.

after today will never go back here ever again. I booked an appointment as per my fam doctor’s advised from my diabetes she told me i need to get a check up for diabetes and it is for free. i called this clinic and booked appointment and specifically mentioned my diabetes and asked if it is actually going to be a free eye exam and she said yes it will not be taken from tou bluecross but the diabetic vision whatever will cover the whole exam so i also booked appointment for my husband because i forgot to asked if my bluecross will cover my husband and will it be direct billed thru bluecross so i called the day before the scheduled appointment and asked about this and she said yes we can direct billed to bluecross . when we went they took our manulife and bluecross cards no explaination of how much will be covered and how much should be the appromixate costs for both of our exam. The doctor do exams and some extra exams never asked if we were okay with it never mentioned of extra charge or whatsoever.. and when we came to the desk was really surprised we had to pay $385. the gurl that was helping us said that since manulife dont have a balance anymore so the bluecross will not pay for my husband because we had a manulife, I ask well can you send the statement to bluecross for them to know and there was no payment made from the main provider and so they can put it their share of coverage she said that it wasnt possible that we had to do it ourselves manual claims...I complained also about being misinformed that the diabetic vision will cover my exam later on the manager has to step in and from there she was able to submit the claim to bluecross for my husband and so as send to our health spending the rest which opposed to what the other gurl have told us. Manager offered a free contacts for the misleading info but we refused since that was not the reason of my disappointment. The point is they shouldve been more transparent to their clients specially when it comes to charges etc. like the clinic we used to go would let us know what the expectation costs would be and how much is covered by the insurance provider they call it a treatment plan that they submit to the insurance provider to find out how much is covered and if we decide not to do it there will be no charges from the insurance since this was only a treatment plan they submitted. Was really really disappointed and tomorrow i am going to cancel my follow up appointment and will go back to our old clinic as soon as they will re open.

The staff in the store were NOT client service oriented - almost stand offish. That is the first time I experienced this. Also, the glasses were way to expensive. I found the exact same pair with lenses almost 300.00 less. I asked about price matching and found out that you don't price match. I will likely never use your service again given both issues.

We asked for prices and we were about to purchase $1100 worth of products and we had a great employee helping us yet after that the manager started helping to finalize the quote she gave us a higher price and she gave us the worst attitude ever.
