Wonderful optometrist! Fantastic service, extremely knowledgeable and a very comfortable environment. I have severe anxiety and normally going to any kind of doctor sets me off. I walked in the door and was warmly greeted by 3 people. I was brought in to begin my exam within minutes. Bless them too, I was nervous and twitchy so they had to check my eyes multiple times to get a proper reading and they were so patient with me! Dr. Linda Yee was very thorough and detailed. She reviewed everything with me and went into full detail explaining what she was doing during the whole process. I was even able to ask some questions about my amblyopia, which when I have tried at a previous doctor I was basically just told nothing can be done, case closed. I also want to thank Aaron! I am so picky and he remained so patient with a huge smile and kept bringing me more styles that would suit my face shape. It felt like he really cared more about my satisfaction than making a bigger sale. I left feeling like I was really valued and cared for. I came here because of a friends recommendation, now I can highly recommend this optometrist to everybody!! Thank you to all the staff at Lucent!

Dr. Yee is amazing at what she does! Very personable and sweet. I was told by my old optometrist that I would never get crystal clear vision with contacts because my eyes had extremely bad astigmatism. Dr. Yee was knowledgeable about astigmatism because as I learned, she also had it. So I felt very comfortable knowing she understood how it felt. I had contacts done by her and they were amazing. She perfected it and took her time helping me and trying on different brands until I felt the most comfortable. Ive since then gotten a pair of glasses done also by her and I've never had such clear vision in my life... I only have to thank her for that! Highly recommended!

Dr. Yee and her team are incredibly kind and caring. I went here based on the positive google reviews and proximity to my workplace - and I am so grateful that I did. They are quick and responsive on either phone or email, and have fit me in when I've had acute eye pain issues and was really anxious and needing someone to look at it as soon as possible. Dr. Yee (and the rest of the staff, for that matter) is so generous with her time. Even when being fit in between other appointments - she did not rush me or cut off my concerns about my eye health. She is unflagging in helping me get the referrals that I need. I should also mention that I did not feel at all pressured to purchase glasses at the shop, either. I was told that my astigmatism is quite mild and that it might help with night driving and working long hours in front of a screen - but there was never any pressure at all to spend money. I did, however, buy glasses here and it was money well spent. Measurements were made before ordering, retaken when the glasses came in - and all necessary adjustments were made. My family owned an optical shop for years and I can really recognize and appreciate the quality service here. As long as Lucent exists - I will be a customer here and I would recommend the clinic, and Dr. Yee, to anyone.

This is a nice place to get your eyes checked they also have a chocolate Bowl they have glasses for people on disability and they can get you transitions they check their products and see if they work like make sure you go outside and see if the transitions are working that's really cool they fit them to your face that's awesome and they gave a free pack of glass spray for Christmas which was cool

Went to Mt. Pleasant optometry last year they told me i had amblyopia (yeah like i didnt know that) then tried to push some glasses on me, which are ineffective with this condition and told me im screwed theres nothing more they can do for me that i just have to live with it. Even discourage me from adult patching or vision therapy. Dr. Yee prescribed contact lenses which work great ive retained some vision in that weak eye and were working on improving my vision. So what's so different about Lucent Family Eye Care compared to other clinics - it's the personal touch of Dr. Linda Yee whose cheerfulness and proficiency in her work makes your day. My eye exam included the checking of the retinas (something I never had at other clinics) besides the usual other parts and of course the measurements of my vision acuity or lack of it. Dr. Yee is very knowledgeable in her field and has all the latest equipment to support her profession. Her store also carries great selections of frames and lenses.

Recently I had my eye check up with Dr. Yee 1. Care of Dr. Yee - - Besides the meticulous examination and prescribing new lens, I had another checkup afterwards due to a sudden blood shot in my left eye. On short notice, her staff Lindsay and Dr. Yee spent additional time to examine the severity of the situation and provided feedback that the eye pressure is fine, a blood vessel had burst and there is no blood into the eye. She eased my mind that this is like bruise and the situation can happen at times . 2. Care of Staff --- Technical staff Lindsay, Lynn & Mary who I met are friendly, competent and helpful. There is a welcoming atmosphere in the Eye Care Centre.

Refered here by a co-worker 7 years ago, I have been coming here almost annually for eye exams and glasses prescriptions. Today, I am writing a review after visiting them again. Dr Linda and her staff have been friendly, courteous, and professional for every visit. The instruments she uses for eye exams have been continuously upgraded and modernized over the years. Sanitation of each instrument can be seen performed before and after each exam takes place. Her staff are well trained to help you find the right frames and lenses to fit your needs or requests. They will also try to accommodate special requests for your glasses, like if you have your own frames, which was nice to see. I hope to continue visiting Dr Linda and her optometry centre for a long while yet.

I have been going here for over a year now. I have had two eye exams, and met with Dr. Luv both times. I believe they have the most up to date equipment and Dr. Lui always explains everything very well and answers all my questions. I never feel rushed. I recently bought my first pair of frames and lenses here and after ordering them and picking them up-called to let them know I wasn’t happy with the frames I personally chose, they accepted them back for a direct exchange and re-sent out another frame for new lenses at no extra cost. I accidentally sat on my antique glasses and completely crushed them yesterday. I thought they had to be thrown away but Aaron and Dr. Yee skilfully fixed them and now they are better than new ! Definitely 5 start to Lucent Eye Care Family. I had my full eye exam and it was a really nice experience. Dr. Linda answered all of my question gracefully and her work flow was very seamless. I had a eye injured 4-5 year ago and needed regular checkups. But, to be honest, I couldn't find doctor or optometrists that are both nice in providing service and good at what they do. So, after seeing 100+ 5 Start reviews of this clinic, I gave it a shot and it turned out very well. She was comfortable in taking pictures of my retina again on my request, which I definitely know some optometrists wouldn't do at all. Also, I think I took more of her time because I needed to get my eyes dilated and we found that I needed to see an eye specialist M.D. for further look. But, I know some places that heavily relies on machine and picture and misses things like this. She informed me about the health and supplements that I could take, and later the report she sent me had everything that I talked about. I don't know how she prepared such a great report! Go Linda! So, if you are looking for a eye exam or any services this location provides I can assure you that you won't be disappointed! PS. I found Lucent means bright and shiny as per Dr. Linda which is just like her.

Both, my husband and I, were very pleased with our recent visit to Lucent Family Eye Care clinic. Dr. Linda Yee is very knowledgeable and took time to explain exam and answer all our questions in details. Clinic is equipped with most recent technology. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone.
