Efficient staff carried out a battery of tests. Unfortunately, one CRUCIAL measurement they will not supply unless you buy glasses from them was the "PD". Without it you can't order your glasses online. My advice: shop for an optometrist that will give you your PD measurement.

Doctor was really nice and professional! The only critic was that the cost of the standard eye exam was rather high and not entirely covered by the insurance as it was $20 over the "customary charges", so be careful with that.

Our family moved from Markham to Burlington in 2016. Prior to that, our six-year-old daughter (at the time), had seen multiple optometrists, and even specialists. Each Doctor simply increased her prescription (every couple of months). This made it difficult for her to see far away and read the blackboard. When we arrived in Burlington, school teachers told us that Hayley was a slow learner and had difficulty concentrating. We knew this wasn’t true. We increasingly saw Hayley become more withdrawn, frustrated, and extremely irritable as the months passed. Finally, we met with a relative who had recently graduated from Medical school in Optometry. Upon her examination of Hayley, she told us that she thought her prescription was way too high. In fact, she did not think her sight was the issue at all. She immediately recommended that we see an Optometrist that specialized in Vision Therapy for children with binocular vision issues. Dr. Fink told us that we could treat Hayley’s vision issues over a nine-month period with vision therapy. We saw immediate progress within the first couple of weeks. After a couple of months Hayley was back to her happy self. We saw a dramatic change at school including; higher marks, increased participation and most importantly, her confidence. Hayley graduated from vision therapy in 2018 and today (a year and a half later) she is doing fantastic. Hayley is in the French Immersion program in Halton, and reads every night. Her grades are fantastic and her teachers always have positive things to say about her progress. Her prescription for reading is much lower now and eventually, she may not even need glasses. We could not be happier for our Hayley and we can’t thank Dr. Fink and her phenomenal staff enough for their support.

Dr. Fink's office is clean and modern and the staff are professional, friendly and accommodating. Their selection of glasses is outstanding and they use the latest available technology. My husband, 2yr old daughter and I all go to see one of the optometrists at this office. My daughter is young so the giant box of toys and books that is made available to little kids is just awesome! Thanks for thinking of your littlest clients! The service has always been prompt, professional and courteous and you can tell that Dr. Chavoustie genuinely cares of his patients. He was very gentle and engaged my little one so that he could complete her eye exam. He is excellent with kids. We have recommended this place to many of our friends and family and I know that they have also really enjoyed the service and care that Dr. Fink's Office provides.

I've been meaning to write this review for quite some time. I've had my daughter working with the Halton Vision Therapy Center team for just about a year now. She had been struggling with fine and gross motor skills and was very resistant to working on this with my wife or I. Krysten, our vision therapist, instantly connected with my little lady and was able to make amazing improvements during our weekly sessions. During my initial and followup visits with Dr. Fink, I was always impressed at how much info she gathered about her personality, behaviour traits and tendencies during her binocular vision exam. Dr. Fink is so incredibly knowledgable in this field and I trust her outright with my daughter's visual development. Would highly recommend.

I saw Dr Singh at this clinic. He squeezed me into an appointment because of eye irritation I was feeling. He did a very thorough assessment, explained everything clearly, prescribed medicated drops, did a follow up visit one week later and provided me with next steps for my care. He also called me to follow up. If you are experiencing any eye issues (don't wait for your family physician) or need an eye exam, go to this clinic!

Terribly disappointing.. spent over 1500.00 for exams and eyewear including glasses and contacts for both my daughter and I. They suddenly remember they forgot to charge me 80.00 for a contact fitting for my 12 years old daughter, and then refuse me a pair of trial contacts until I pay it.. Trials!! After spending that kind of money you would think teaching a 12 year old how to wear contacts would be standard.. ridiculous. Dr. Pathak was wonderful and caring but their business practices could use some fine tuning to say the least...

There were so many more tests and exams to ensure my eyes were healthy and they knew everything about my vision. Just picked up my glasses and forgot what it was like to see!!! Been dealing with severe myopia (nearsightedness) since birth and had same eye doctor for almost 20 years, once they retired I had a very bad experience with a doctor (who was frustrated with how nearsighted I was) and I was fearful of eye exams for a few years until I found Dr Pozzer who works here. I've been seeing her for the last 7 years and always have had excellent care. I've had a couple issues that were concerning and I was always helped immediately. I also have purchased a few pairs of glasses and contacts here and with the high prescription (-21) there was very rarely any issue from their manufacturer, and when there was Dr Fink's team addressed it immediately.

Dr. Fink was a godsend for me after I was incorrectly diagnosed by 2 MDs. With no improvement, I contacted Dr. Fink, who quickly recognized that I had a virus that was primarily affecting my eyes. After the initial treatment, I reported my symptoms to Dr. Fink each day, and she adjusted her orders accordingly. After a week, she re-examined my eyes to ensure there was no permanent damage. I am thankful to Dr. Fink that she took such great care of me in this difficult time and kept such close tabs on my recovery. This is the second time I have had an eye health emergency, and both times the response has been timely and referral given as needed. My family has been cared for by Dr. Fink and her associates for over 12 years now, and we have found that Dr. Fink is thorough and extremely knowledgable. She cares deeply about the health of her patients. Dr. Fink and her staff are always extremely welcoming and helpful. Our girls both enjoyed their visits to her office and felt comfortable from the outset.

I am 42 years old, I will decide when I need my eyes check again especially considering my extended health care only covers every two years. On top of that they tried to convince me that my son needed $7k worth of eye therapy. I got a second opinion and was told it was far from necessary. They are a money grabbing organization.

I would be wary of Dr. Fink. We were referred to her by our optometrist for my son and Dr. Fink did an assessment on him with regards to Vision Therapy. When we chose not to go with Vision Therapy (it cost $6000 with little scientific evidence of it working but don't worry they have options right on the front desk as to where you can borrow the money) we were sent a bill for $220 unexpectedly. I called and asked for an explanation as I was never advised there would be a cost. I assumed it was covered by OHIP. I left a message with accounting and never heard back. I was then sent another bill reminding me to pay. I called again and got no answers. The third time I was sent a bill I called and complained. I was then told not to worry and my bill would be erased. I have now been sent another bill.

Was initially very happy here with regular vision tests. Our discontent happened when we took our daughter to a Functional Vision Evaluation. The doctor doing the evaluation was completely unprofessional, she began discussing the results of the evaluation during the tests, right in front of my daughter. My daughter was treated by her like some kind of interesting specimen. The doctor had no empathy whatsoever. This was in June 2018, we have not gone back and we won't go back.

I went in to get my eyes checked with Dr. Chavoustie and from beginning to end the appointment was an efficient and pleasant experience. Dr. Chavoustie was professional, polite, well informed and answered all my questions and concerns thoroughly. Highly recommend!

Went to have some Mauji Jim prescription sunglasses made up. I took in the written prescription and also my current glasses. I wanted brown lenses but wastild that Mauji Jim no longer made brown lenses as these had been superceded by a greenish brown. When the glasses were ready for collection I was called into Dr. Fink’s shop and was handed the sunglasses and told to try them on. I could not see clearly out of them so the “assistant” squeezed the nosepads together and told me to try that. I still could not see properly out of the lenses. I was then told to try them for a bit as it could take a several days to get used to these lenses. Six weeks later and I still could not see properly with these lenses. I apcalled them and was told that the lenses matched the prescription I provided and that they were not taking any further responsibilty for them. I went to another optician who told me that the wrong type of lens had been put in the glasses and that of course Mauji Jim still made brown sunglass lenses. I ordered new lenses with the second optician. Amazing, brown lenses and I can see properly. I wish I had read some of the other negative reviews on this business to which I can only add my voice of warning to “walk away”.

I have used Dr Fink's office for my routine exams for years and have always been happy with the results. In the past, I used bargain optical stores to fill my prescription and purchase cheaper glasses. I was never quite happy with the results so this time I bit the bullet and purchased my new glasses from them. I just picked them up and wanted to share how much of a difference it makes leaving this step to the professionals! I cannot believe the difference in these lenses. I highly recommend them and if you're concerned about price let me assure you they are worth it.

This is the best service for eyecare and eyewear ever. I have these amazing "special" reading glasses with this recharge coating on it to protect my eyes from the blue light radiation coming off of flat screens and my iphone. I can't believe how much easier it is to read and do homework with these. Totally love them and the RayBan frames are fantastic. Thank you for the great retinal pictures...boy my eyes look cool.

Even though I saw various Optometrists & even a Specialist, no one was able to diagnose that I was developing Glaucoma. Dr. Mishee Goyal spent alot of time with me & after doing several tests she was able to give me the exact diagnose. I found her to be very warm & loving! I went there with my son the staff were very nice to him and offered him stickers and toys. They have toys and a TV in there waiting room which is always helpful when you are trying to get a child to wait patiently. We met with Dr Chavoustie, I like that he wasn't in a rush to move on to the next patient and did a thorough check up of my sons eye and did not over prescribe me.

I visited here a few times and never bought a pair of $300 glasses that lasted more than 6 months before needing repair. Last time I spent $400 hoping for better results and they only lasted 4 months. They over charge for the eye exam that OHIP only covers so much of and the opto girl won't tell you exactly what you need, you have to figure it out yourself by looking through a lense that isn't even in a frame. I go to Costco now (waited to see how long glasses lasted before writing this). They only charge what OHIP covers for eye exam and I got 2 pairs of glasses instead of 1 for the same price. Both pairs, one for reading other for driving, are still going strong after a year and a half and they told/sold me exactly what I needed.

I was then seen by Dr. Anjali Pathak #800892 who continued with the examination. All aspects of this office were presented in a professional, welcoming and timely manner. Worst service I have ever experienced by an Eye Care Team. I have no issue with Dr. Pozzer or Dr. Fink themselves, but my experience at the office was horrific. My appointment was scheduled for 2:20 PM, I arrived early at 2:10 PM. I was not looked at until 3:10. That's a hole hour later! In a way that's fine because I was able to pick out my new frames. But after the eye care team took all my info I had to wait another half an hour to actually see Dr. Pozzer for my results. That was ridiculous. When selecting my frames I was very clear that I needed them for the following Wednesday for a function. They were very confident that I could have them for that time. I still have not received my glasses 5 Biz days after the appointment. It's blamed on a snow storm in Ottawa where my glasses are "In Transit". Why are you're glasses coming from Ottawa? The girls that work there - are a bunch of typical lazy female snots. Plenty of perfectly good eye care teams out there that will have you're glasses ready much faster, at a more reasonable rate with the same level of care, and will treat you like your a valued customer. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

My family and I have been patients at this location for almost twenty years. Went in yesterday to pick up a new pair of single vision glasses I had ordered. Ultimately I wasn't happy with the frames. Was hoping, given our long standing relationship, that they would allow me to EXCHANGE the frame for something more suitable. This could have been done with a minor adjustment to the lenses. Was shocked by the response of the Supervisor/Manager. Basically was told it was my tough luck - they weren't prepared to do ANYTHING. Needless to say, my family and I will be taking our business elsewhere in future. This individual clearly has no concept of what "Customer Service" is all about!

Patricia Fink Optometrist: Putting the "I Don't Care" in Patient Care I have been going, both myself and with my children, to this optometrist clinic for 20+ years. Unfortunately I regret to say that it has changed so significantly for the worse, that I would advise anyone looking for an optometrist to make a choice of OTHER than Patricia Fink. Over the years the good staff have been quietly leaving, and the current staff are - in a word - very poor. I can summarise this with one recent story. Due to COVID lockdowns and the optometrist action, I had been unable to make an appointment to have my eyes checked for several years. As a result, I was quite happy to finally secure an appointment. I was on my way, having been slightly delayed by accident/traffic jam on the highway, when the clinic called me to ask if I would be arriving in the next 10 minutes. I explained the delay and confirmed that I would. The clinic then called me back a minute later, when I was within a few minutes of the clinic and said they were CANCELLING my appointment. When I expressed my concern about this complete last minute cancellation, requiring me to turn around, the staff member on the phone began to argue with me. Given this complete lack of professionalism, I asked for her name. She refused to give it to me. I asked if I could speak to the office manager: in response, she hung up on me. I was not raising my voice, and not cursing. It was clear she thought I was a complete inconvenience to her day. I left a voice mail for the office manager expressing my concern with the rude arrogance of the staff: I did not receive a return call, which I can only assume means that the clinic believes that this was acceptable behaviour... for a loyal patient of 20+ years. Needless to say, I switched optometrists the very same day. I will end simply by saying that this is an optometrist practice which is slowly bleeding out, simply because it doesn't care. If you are looking for an optometrist who remembers that their primary concern is PATIENT CARE, and not selling over-priced eye-wear, then this optometrist is not for you.

I believe that the star scale provided does not allow for me to properly rate Finks eye clinic. One star is too much. Say, half a star may be justified at this time as I attempt to determine the real reason why Leslie, the assistant manager attempted to 'extort' monies from my daughter during the past about six months under the pretext that the warranty for the glasses is not valid; will not provide a copy of the warranty and continue to stonewall the claim under the warranty and told my daughter that she had to have an updated examination and new glasses. Attempts to dialogue with Jennifer , the Manager and/or Dr Fink have so far failed. Four members of my family attended Dr. Fink Clinic over the past ten years . My daughter received an email from Fink advising her to contact the Lab which coated the lens. I did contact the lab today and the info provided by the lab contradicted the claim by Dr. Fink. The customer representative at the lab promised to call back after consultation with the Manager at the lab. I look forward to that call and will update this post accordingly as I seek advice on the rights of clients under the warranty claim that Fink Clinic in Burlington is not honouring. In the interim, please accept my rating of 0.5 of a star in your calculation.

Worst optometry clinic ever. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The cost of the eye exam is double what you would pay anywhere else. For that money, the expectation is to receive excellent care and service. This is not the case. I had a problem with my prescription and simply requested the courtesy of a prescription re-check so I could purchase the glasses I needed. I was told I had to wait 3 weeks for that service which is ridiculous. I asked to speak with a manager to see if I could get an earlier appointment as I urgently required new glasses and through no fault of mine the prescription was incorrect. The office manager is the rudest and most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. Instead of trying to assist me in a resolution, she just chose to hang up on me. I ended up having to go somewhere else and pay for another eye examination.
