Dr. Briar Sexton is a very compassionate, caring person. Her staff is friendly and welcoming. I am very happy I had the opportunity to see her. Thank-you very much Dr.Sexton, greatly appreciated, you changed my perception of my concussion recovery. Thank-you for caring so much about those that come into your office. You are amazing!

Shamed me out of applying for PWD designation in 2010, causing me to suffer through five more years of underemployment & poverty through debilitating ocular migraines until I finally suffered a mental breakdown and had absolutely no other choice in 2015. I still live in poverty, but at least have a modicum of support, something Dr. Sexton cost me several years of. Can't recommend.

Dr Sexton and her staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. She has helped me immensely with my vision care and beyond. When I was having some difficulty understanding an out of country medical insurance problem, Dr Sexton went out of her way to source the relevant literature on the issue and studied it before explaining it to me. It’s hard to find anyone out there that would go out of their way to help to this extent, let alone a busy doctor.

Clinic is not accessible for those with vision impairment. Very ironic for an ophthalmologist specializing in neurological vision issues.

I was very disappointed by the lack of professionalism and compassion from this office. Arrived 13 minutes late, after calling them 35 minutes prior to my appointment time, letting them know I was going to be 10-15 minutes late (terrible traffic due to an accident near the bridge), only to find my appointment was canceled shortly after arrival. When I insisted on speaking to Dr. Sexton directly, I was told by the receptionist (whose name I know but will not mention as I’d like to respect her privacy) that the doctor was busy for the next hour and could not speak to me, and that the “world must revolve around (me).” I was speechless. Can not recommend.

I have been going to Dr. Sexton for years and have always found her to be professional, reassuring and knowledgeable. I come from a family who tend to have problems with our eyes (I had a torn retina that had to be repaired 3 times). My husband is glad he went to Dr. Sexton, because she found the torn retina in his eye which had to be repaired that day. Our family doctor had insisted he go to the ophthalmologist and refused to give him a referral, so he had to go to a clinic to get the referral.
