Everyone at FYI doctors in brantford is very nice. Dr. Shi is kind and efficient. The ladies at the front are so helpful. They helped me pick a great pair of glasses and let me try as many as I want. Great place!

Wish I could give zero stars.. Have been a client for years.. Called because my eyesight is getting blurry.. They won't see me cuz I've previously been covered by OHIP.. Actually the woman who answered the phone said she would check with the doctor and call me back.. I said I have a benefits plan that will cover me.. She never bothered to call me back.. They are also really pushy and practically force you to buy their overpriced glasses there.. Don't want to give you your glasses prescription to take elsewhere.. The staff is standoffish and snotty.. I won't be returning..

I've had my new glasses for about 12 hours and I can't say enough good things about them. I think it's worth it to get the good lenses and it's definitely worth it in my books to get designer frames it's like your glasses are jewelry that you have to wear for about two years so it might as well be really nice. the glasses I have now I'm sure I'm going to be happy with until it's time to get a new pair they are beautiful.

My mother went there today, because somebody called her and demanded she went in for an appointment and said she was covered. She reluctantly agreed to it, as long as she was covered. She finished her appointment, and they told her she was not covered. She had to pay the over $100 bill, when she was lied to and told she was covered. Keep in mind, she went last year and goes every two years.

I highly recommend FYI when anyone asks for a glasses place. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. They always give their opinions when I pick new frames. I wouldn't want to go to anyone else. Thankyou for the attention from everyone

I received a call that my children were due for their appt so I booked it on a day that I had other appointments on to get them all done in 1 day. We arrived at our 2pm appt and the receptionist informed me that I had the wrong day I was surprised that I had gotten it wrong since I remember confirming with whomever called me but Ok I'm human and make mistakes. Then she goes on to look when our actual appt is and it was for next year so now I know that it was their error and am angry because she doesnt even acknowledged it or apologize. I get people make mistakes but a simple apology for wasting my afternoon goes along way.

I really liked it here, the staff is friendly and the Dr took his time testing my daughters eyes. They explain the cost of everything and don’t pressure you into buying. It’s conveniently located, with lots of parking. There’s a good selection of glasses ranging in prices. My daughter found a pair of glasses she loves immediately and is excited to get them.

My whole family goes to FYI Doctors in Brantford to see optometrist Dr. James Bechtold. The staff are always prompt, respectful and professional. Dr. Bechtold is great with my kids, takes his time and I would highly recommend FYI.
