WORST place to get a pair of Safety Glasses. I placed an order early July, and was told the estimated pick up date would be one week after the ordering date. Then after one week, nothing, called back, been asked to wait for another week. I’ve been hearing “we are expecting to get your glasses by the end of next week” kind of verbiages for weeks, and then it became “the Lab did your prescription the wrong way so we are sending it back, hopefully we can get it for you by the end of next week”. Up till now, I STILL DONT GET MY FKING GLASSES! I mean, really?!! Customers need the glasses for some serious reasons, but you’re just being totally irresponsible and failing the customers!!

We have had great service from Dr Ferguson. Our children have been seeing him since they were 1 and he has done a great job diagnosing both of them. For myself and my wife he was very informative and explained the complexities of they eye in a way that still made it easy to understand. I suggest him to everyone I know looking for an eye doctor.

Not happy at all i had my glasses for not very long under a year yes they got scratched abit lightly mostly just the coating to me! Even though i paid for what is called anti-scratch coating coated lens they would not honor the lens under a Year but yup another 260 Plus out for new lens! Worse part when it happened i seen it happen and other glasses i had before that have fallen like about that same never got scratched like that,, ,,, I will in no way ever go there again or will ever buy from this company again not happy at all,,Make sure to ask about the antiscratch coating lens get all the facts first before buying from this company!

My very first pair of progressives and I did not receive any information on how to get used to them from the optometrist or his staff, even though I told them I'd be wearing them 8 hours a day for computer work. Nobody warned me about how limited the space is on the lens for arms-length focusing or how I now have to move my entire head to read online, just to keep that tiny area in focus. Why weren't computer glasses suggested? The doctor was in a hurry to get to his next appointment and I felt rushed. I wanted to send them a message not write a review, but they have no website! And no active facebook page! Very disappointed and will be going back to them to ask for better service. Also, being closed on a Saturday is very unhelpful to those of us who work mon-fri.

There is not one bad thing we could say about Eye Outfitters all the doctors are great especially with our kids. Each staff member always greets you with a smile. Would definitely recommend them to anyone that is needing either an optometrist or are in need of a pair of glasses.

I am a disabled person on EIA disability. I needed to have my eyes checked. So I called my EIA worker and was told that the exam was completely covered. I then booked an appointment at Eye Outfitters and told them on the phone I was on assistance. At that time they failed to disclose that I would have to pay an extra 75 on top of what EIA covered. I went to my appointment and again I told them that it was being paid by EIA and they again failed to inform me of the extra charge. It wasn't until after the exam that they handed me a bill for 75. I am not disputing the cost, but I am angry and disappointed that even though they had many occasions to share the fact that there would be an extra charge they did not. My daughter and I live on an extremely limited budget, well below the poverty line. And I feel it is Eye Outfitters obligation to there customers to at the very least advise clients living on EIA that there will be extra charges. If I had known I would have gone to Walmart where my eye exam would have completely covered. Anyone living on a low income should not go to Eye Outfitters because they are not forthcoming about the extra cost of a simple eye exam that cost half the amount elsewhere. In the Marketing world it's called "bait and switch" and it's a sneaky way to do business.

I have nothing but great things to say about Eye Outfitters, the staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of on each of my visits. I would definitely recommend them for your next eye appointment or glasses purchase!

I previously had my eyes examined at Walmart Vision Centre. The doctor was pleasant, but prescribed an eye RX that was weaker than my current prescription. I explained my concerns to the staff there afterward and told them that I would like to schedule a retest. I did so, and the doctor changed my prescription to slightly stronger. The problem was, the retested prescription was the same as my 5 year old prescription from 2012 that I am currently wearing. The whole point of me getting new glasses is because my eyes were a little weaker and I needed a clearer RX than from before. After my eye retest at Walmart Vision, I phoned Eye Outfitters and spoke with the staff there about my concerns. They fit me in the next day for a second opinion with Dr. Caswell. I had my eye exam redone with him and explained my concerns and showed him my two prescriptions from recent, as well as from 2012. He addressed all of my concerns and he changed my prescription to accommodate my vision to 20/15, which is slightly better than 20/20. I couldn't be more pleased and his staff were excellent. Dr. Caswell was quick with my appointment and very helpful. He was busy that day and I appreciated him sparing some time out his booked schedule to accommodate me. After all of this, he was kind enough not to charge me for my re-examination with him based purely on my situation and my vision is now sharp and crystal clear. I would UNDOUBTEDLY recommend Eye Outfitters and Dr. Caswell for a thorough eye exam. Thank You!

Today i had to take my husband's glasses in for repair. He is a patient in the Assiniboine Center, by accident his glasses were put through the hospital laundry, they wrre in pieces. Without a thought they repaired the frames arms and even put on new nose pads. Cleaned them and gave me a new cleaning cloth. All was done with extreme courtesy and a smile. They also didn't charge me anything. You can't beat their service. Thank you so much for alleviating my fears. I really appreciated it.

Made an appt bc was having issues and the doctor was nice and seemed to understand the problem. Told me he knew exactly what the problem was. Then told me the fix was to get new glasses. (A weak prescription was not why I made the appt). I bought new glasses less than two years ago. To humour them, I asked how much it would cost to keep my frames and just swap out for new lens. I was told $350! I would hate to know how much a new pair cost. I left with nothing solved.

Eye doctor is very good.his name is Dr brannan,he took lots time for my eye treatment.i referred to all my friends and relatives to go there if they have i problems.

David Treloar

Service was standard only truely helpful when they needed to be and unable/unwilling to help find the larger sized frames I needed. The two times I have been I ended up with a questionable Rx... glasses I got from them were fine but glasses I ordered from 3rd party providers using the Rx they provided were wrong. Very unhappy and I will not go back.

Dr. Carels took his time with my eye exam. He is very knowledgable and addressed all my questions and concerns patiently. Excellent rapport with his patients. The staff were kind, friendly and professional. The office ambience, free wifi and coffee and short wait time definitely make it a relaxing visit. I left satisfied with my appointment and having made appointments for the rest of my family.
