He’s one of the best doctors I’ve ever seen I had a serious car accident and I did a face surgery and Eyes surgery and he did me 2 sergeries ....even better than the one I had before with the British doctor back home ! so I don’t know why people complaining ! if you want to get the best service most of the time you need to wait and he is a busy dr for sure !! Absolutely impossible to contact this clinic with their phone number. Either you get hang up, constantly on wait only to get beep afterward then hangup. How are their able to have 2-3 receptionist (when I was there), yet keeping their phone un-usable. Note, this clinic mention they open at 8am, yet you can't called them until 9am.

my father had eye surgery scheduled at 11:15 they had us waiting 2 hrs for the appointment horrible service. we had a follow up appointment scheduled one week later due to other medical appointments we needed to cancel the follow up appointment and we are still waiting for a call back.. imagine its a follow up appointment after surgery and still nobody answers our calls or returns any of our messages.. horrible service this is a paid service which you would expect a much more professional behavior I do not recommend them!

All they care about is getting as mu9ch money of you as possible. Once they came to know that I wanted an OHIP paid surgery, they stopped answering my phone calls or e-mails. I don't think the Government pys them little money for the surgeries. But they need to pay for the 4 receptionists at the Mississauga location only. And other auxiliary personnel. All they are doing is trying to get you in their nets after the initial assessments. Once you are there they do not care about you. HORRIBLE place

Absolutely amazing Dr. And human beeing! Dr.Khan truly cares about his patients and is here to make an impact on the world. He goes on missions to under privileged countries to lend a hand and save vision, eyes and in some cases lives. It's heart warming and an honor to be a patient. I've had a lower and upper blephroplasty surgery last week and the team was very gentle and kind. Don't remember all the Dr's names so I apologize for missing some or misspelling but assisting dr Khan were dr Hanna, dr Prima (I think) and another wonderful lady Dr. Everybody made sure I'm comfortable and informed of what's happening. I was extremely nervous and grunted at the slightest indication of feeling discomfort to which dr Khan immediately responded with more freezing to ensure I have a positive experience. Unfortunately post op. because of my UC condition my body decided to cause extreme inflammation on the left eye and that side of my face was enormously swollen and the eye swollen shut. I contactedr Khan and he immediately made sure I was seen in the clinic the next day by dr Hanna, who was super gentle and kind but made sure he did all the tests on my eye to make sure the infection and swelling did not damage my eye. I got an antibiotic, didn't want prednisone. 2 days later Dr.Khan contacted me to see how I'm feeling and if it's any better and saw me again at the clinic. I felt big improvement but dr Khan felt it wasn't enough and prescribed corticosteroids iv to mitigate and accomodate my concerns with prednisone. Had to go to ER to start the iv process and sat there (@ Juravinsky hospital ER closest to my home) for many hrs so when I was finally seen by ER dr it was 1130pm and there was some confusion about the dose so they called Dr.Khan and he immediately answered his phone I'm beyond greatfull for being fortunate to be in dr.khan's care and I will have gained not only amazing results on my eyes but warmed heart and being inspired by a team of young doctors that truly make an impact and are there to help and heal people. I highly recommend dr Kan and his team to anyo.ne requiring services offered by them. Dr. Khan and team thank you for all you do!!!❤????

After three weeks of leaving 4 voice mails and 5 emails - NO RESPONSE!! If this were a normal business it would be bankrupted. As part of our healthcare system - I guess they are just so busy they can ignore their patients.

This clinic at Mississauga is nothing short of TERRIBLE. They waste your time galore. They don't return your calls. They don't even respond to your e-mail messages.Its been 10 days since I have been calling them and e-mail message 6 days ago,and there is no response. The surgical coordinators mail box is full for past 2 days. On the First appointment I had to wait 2 hours what normally takes less than an hour (including wait time) at other clinics. I was kept on a testing machine and the girl technician just disappeared without excusing herself. I got up wondering and found that she was at the reception as a replacement. Its only then that I was attended by another technician. In fact I would not give them even a single star. What an damn experience!

My spouse has been a patient of Dr Khans for about three years. I would tend to agree, there is a level of greed here that is hard to change the mindset in the office. The doctor does not necessarily use his skills to guide the staff. Things usually get done here but there is a long wait, for everyone. It is not convenient and I have rarely seen a wait time of under one hour. The last time he went, his vision did not clear up within the usual 6-12 hours time frame. He stated the new assistant made a mistake of not cleaning out the eye first. Needless to say the sloppy, hasty issue is obviously from some type of staff that has not been properly trained. So the next time he goes, he will have to inform the staff of the last problem. I am quite sure the office has gotten word from complaints and is doing a couple things about it. But just in case, I may put pressure on the staff when we go again. I can not stress enough that the eye care has worked meaning retina bleeding has been stopped with injections, just there is a certain attitude in the staff that one has to put up with while being a patient.

Went to their clinic on scheduled time at 3:20 pm after 1.5 hours when asked says you are early the appointment is at 4:55 pm from there it's again 1.5 hours while I am writing this I am also waiting at their clinic.. worst service. Never opt for it again... No way..

Wait time wasn’t bad but they gave me a prescription for home care and wouldn’t set it up and they haven’t followed up regarding the steroids they gave me for my eyes. Now trying to get ahold of them 3 weeks in is fun!!!

This place is impossible to get a hold of. I have emailed multiple times, called and can't leave a message. My poor 91 year old father has surgery potentially booked and I can't get confirmation that it's going ahead or a time. UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! I would drive there, but it's over an hour away.

Dr.Khan and Dr. Nunez along with the rest of the staff were amazing!! We feel the bad reviews are due to unreasonable expectation that there should be next to no wait time. After meeting with the Doctor/s, you realize they put forth the care and thoroughness you would want when dealing with medical eye treatment. This is a busy clinic and they receive many emergency hospital patients, unfortunately as a side of effect of being in such high demand and being excellent in your field, it causes longer wait times. My husband had severe trauma to his eye, we were so grateful for the care, the treatment and the outcome. They went through the procedure, any complications, we didn't feel like we were just another patient, we felt at ease in a very stressful time. We gladly waited ( even after a 2 hour drive each way) as we were so grateful for the exceptional care received. We would highly recommend this clinic, the staff was amazing! Please don't let people's impatience taint your view of this clinic. We were referred by an ophthalmologist and was adamant we went here, we realize now, why! Bryan and Brandy Watson

Overcrowded, you given the impression that you're not wanted there. Was supposed to meet with Jesse the surgery coordinator was told she was with a patient she would call me when she was done waited hours and she never did call. If you have a choice do not go there.

i think this is a awesome clinic.doctor yasser khan is a awesome doctor .thank god for him.had removed cancer from my eye twice .now i am great again.the carrot eye clinic is a life saver.and the staff are great.DOCTOR KHAN helps people all over the world and it is such a pleasure to know such a smart and kind doctor like him.THANK YOU DR.KHAN.

The first time I came here, there was no wait time at all and I got my eye exam and saw the doctor right away. The second time around, there was a bit of a wait as more people were there. However, the doctors at Carrot Eye are very knowledgeable and superb at making sure that you understand what's going on and feeling like your voice is being heard. I've always felt safe in the hands of my doctor and I think trust is the most important thing in a doctor-patient relationship. This location has an extremely low rating due to frustration of the long wait times (which I understand), but I think people should still give credit to the actual skills and expertise of the doctors here.

If you can receive medical care elsewhere, I would STRONGLY urge you to do so. This office is an absolute mess -- do NOT expect your calls to be picked up, your voicemails returned, or your emails answered. Despite leaving several voicemails and emails, I still haven't received a word from Carrot in 2 weeks. Also, during my surgical consult, I felt that the doctor didn't properly explain the procedure, he just assumed I knew what he was talking about. It is a policy that physicians offices should either have a working telephone or a voicemail that allows messages to be left during/after operating hours. Well, guess what. The surgical coordinator's voicemail is FULL and the regular Mississauga office NEVER picks up. This PREVENTS appropriate care to patients. Seriously, this office needs to be revamped.

DR is okay. But the wait times are pathetic. Staff needs to be more organized. Not helpful. To see dr. Khan you need to give yourself at least 5 hours. Because he is the only dr in Canada

Office is actually Unbelievable...still waiting 3 months for the surgical coordinator to get back to me as still nothing definite yet. VMailbox is full , almost impossible to get through on the phone, no one to really escalate things to. I am beyond frustrated. The Dr I met with at initial consult (after a 2 hour wait) seemed amazing and reassuring but the office is absolutely AWFUL!!!! I wish I could deal with someone else but the Dr came highly recommended for the skin cancer under my eye.

My name is Paul I’ve seen the reviews people have posted for Dr Kwan. I have a graves disease from my thyroid I had trouble with my vision in both eyes diploma in both eyes, which was altering my vision over the past three years I seen Dr Kwan and he has performed 5 surgeries on my eyes. He advised me that it will take time and to be patient as he cannot fix the problem overnight. Over these years of been very patient and now I can see perfectly adjusted the muscles in my eyes and he is truly a GOD SEND. His Executive assistant SARAH and JESSE the best I have ever spoken to and HONORARY DEDICATION TO PEOPLE. They do a fantastic job to book surgeries and TRULY CARE to book the appointments return calls promptly. This doctor is the best there ever is is he not only is it surgeon but I complete gentle man who understands what you’re going through this team is rated number five as if I need a quick appointment he understands the pain I’m going through and suffering. As he cannot operate on both eyes I have no choice and other people should have no other choice but to be patient and leave the care into his hands. You people don’t complain like a bunch of whiners for perfection should go find a one star Doctor Who can get you in immediately and perform terrible surgeries. You terrible ratings about wait time think about how much we in this world have to wait on phones for an hour always put on hold on life. YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT WAIT TIME THATS BECAUSE IF YOU WANT THE BEST SURGEON YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE BEST!!!!!!!! Understand the low ratings because of the long wait which is why I didn’t give 5 stars. BE.PREPARED.TO.WAIT. But once in, Dr. Khan and the staff were amazing! I took my daughter for a stye that wouldn’t die for three months. We had seen 5 doctors who essentially said to use hot compresses and wait it out. Dr. Khan treated her the day we went in. He was approachable, funny and made us both really comfortable. The reality is that there is a huge demand for his expertise and he doesn’t want to turn anyone away. I would definitely recommend him. But remember. BE.PREPARED.TO.WAIT.

Came in today for 11am appointment. Was looked at 12:15pm; DR. was great ! But than had to wait another hour for my final summary. Sanitization can be better; didn’t see patient chairs or equipment being sterilized. Once again the Female doctor was great! Very informative and helpful and me feel very comfortable .
