Dr Vaughn appears to be too busy, too tired or just out of touch with his patients to concern himself with giveing them personal attention (5 to10 mins ) explaining their particular concerns, fears, and further follow-up he did none of this for me..after my diagnosties glocoma, he showed a video, and said to my daughter "she could go blind" duh ..i was done very disappointed

I brought my mother in for a regular eye check up her appointment was at 4:40 we came in at 4:30 and waited an hour if not more I've never been to an optometrist who took over a hr to treat of give me my check up this place is not recommended unless you are willing to be here for over an hour very disappointing and frustrating!!!!!

Dr. Vaughn is one of the best Ophthalmologist I have ever met! He takes time to listen and hear what your issues are and walks you through treatment plans to keep your eyes healthy. He actually cares about you and what is best for your eyes!

The dr was rude and even making comments about me not being able to afford glasses in front of my kids and I had to make like 3 appointments the first time I called they told me to hold on and hang up the phone in my purse 2nd time I called and made a appointment I call to confirm it and they said I didn’t have an appointment and when I went in the were rude poor service they won’t get my money

I have little tolerance for any doctor who doesn't value their patient's time. If I have a 12noon appointment and the doctor hasn't made his self available by 2pm.. That's a problem! It's inconsiderate and unprofessional! A patients should be valued and appreciated and not disrespected and disregarded. Not going back and will be looking for someone more considerate

I have been seeing Doctor Vaughn since I was a teenager and then brought my children and now my grandchildren are in line for their first exam. He is awesome and I would recommend him and do recommend him to the masses. He tends to my mother's needs as well...it's a family affair.

Horrible doctor. I brought my mom in because she has been getting a horrible rash on her eyelids and undereyes, plus she has been getting dry, itchy eyes which has impaired her vision. She had been to dermatologist, allergy screenings...etc but they couldn't find what was causing her reactions and told her to see a ophthalmologists. I decided to look one in my area since everywhere she went she was prescribed cortisone which would calm her inflammation but doesn't really cure anything. My mom was excited to see Dr. Vaughn since I told him all about his volunteer work and we thought we had finally found someone that cared. Couldn't be more wrong. The doctor was so rude, cold, inattentive, even seemed to get bothered by us asking questions. We felt as if we were literally being kick out of the office. We waited for an hour and only got to talk to the dr for 5 minutes max. Oh and what did he prescribed her? cortisone...what a joke. He never told us what my mom could have. He said an allergy, but we replied by saying the allergy tests were all negative. We then asked if it could be blepharitis and he said no, handed a prescription and left. Then that's it. No alternative explanation, no follow up, no diagnosed, nothing. If you care about your health and you want a Dr, that will also care about your health, then don't come here.

I had a great experience. My questions were answered by Dr. Vaughn in a professional manner and all of my vision needs were taken care of in one appointment. Best of all I only waited for 15 minutes before my appointment started. Very good staff as well.

I took my Mother to Dr. Vaughn, whose staff and technicians are exceptionally efficient and kind. Dr. Vaughn, unfortunately, he was exceptionally rude to my vigorous 96 year old Mother, whose only health issue is cataracts. After waiting for an hour, in a full waiting room with little to no concerns for social distancing, we were able to finally meet with him for a brief consultation. He berated my healthy Mother for not routinely seeing a physician, then proceeded to prescribe an expensive* eye drop, while recommending the pharmacy* located in the building. Is it any wonder she maintains her suspicion of some professionals. We have since found a caring ophthalmologist, who celebrates her longevity and will soon perform her cataract surgery.

I paid cash for a pair of defective frames. When I tried to return them, Dr. Vaughn told me he is not responsible and told me to leave his office. I was told to come back another time to see an employee that was not coming in that day. I am extremely disappointed to have been treated so rudely because I was sold cheap defective frames that cost $570.

It hurts me that I was treated so rudely. I lost vision in my left eye and the Dr. was so rude in how he told me that there was nothing I can do about it. No guidance or no tips. I patiently waited for over 4 hours without complaining and still was treated rudedly.

Eye surgeon and ophthalmologist Dr. Leroy Vaughn has for decades combined old school healing skills with the best of today's medical techniques. For decades me, many in Los Angeles / Inglewood, CA, plus those Dr. Vaughn and his staff have served over the years on his ASA-USA work in Africa are bless he chose medicine as his mission.

I do not recommend this place unless you love to waste your time and sit there for 2 hours and a half just to have a 5,min talk with a Dr that doesn't smile and is dragging through the whole office. His staff over stuffs the scedule and that's why no one gets seen on time, you walk in and every chair is taken, then you get to wait forever, finally get called in and just to wait in another area. What's the point of an appointment in places like this . Your patients should come first Leroy not the crappy chump change you recieve from the insurance. You over stuff the schedule to make some quick bucks but completely mess people's days up!!! Never returning to this place again.
